Chapter one: Dangerous Fortune Cookies!

"Okay! She should be here any minute now!" A blond hair girl cried, from her living room. She adjusted, her blue, thin-framed glasses, and tied her hair in a ponytail. She set up the Gamecube and the game: Naruto: Clash of Ninja. "Mmkay, this should be good enough." She replied. Another girl, looking a year older, ran into the room.

"Ashley! Bad news!" she said, "The cookies, they're burnt..."

"NOO! MADDY HOW COULD YOU!" Ashley screamed, falling upon her knees, dramatically, pulling her hair. Maddy came over and patted her on the back,

"I'm sorry, I did all I can."

"No worries!" Ashley recovered from her 'crisis' and reassured her sister, as she took out her cellphone, seemingly out of no-where, "We'll order take-out!"

"That's fine with me, but who's open at 10:00pm in the morning?" Maddy asked, as she dumped the burnt cookies in the trash, "I mean think about it."

"Err, you in the mood for Chinese Take-out?" Ashley asked, sitting herself on the couch, "They're opened 24-7 and plus they do delivery."

Maddy nodded and smiled, "Sounds good, want me to get the phone book?"

"Why do we need the phone book?" Ashley asked, pressing a couple buttons upon her white and blue flip-phone.

"To get the number for the Chinese take-out? Of course." Maddy replied.

"Oh! No need, I remember it on the top of my head!" Ashley beamed widely.

Maddy gave off a sigh, and shook her head sadly, "You're too much! I'm gonna get the pillows and blankets and stuffs, We and Kathy are sleeping out here kay?"

"Yay! This is going to be an awesome sleepover!" Ashley shouted, she dialed the number for the take out. Her finger hovered over the green 'send' button. She was about to press it as her phone went off. "NOOOO!! Low battery." she said. she closed her flip phone and placed it upon the table, connecting it to the charger. "No need to worry, that's what I have an older sister. Maddy! I need your phone!" Ashley ran down the hall and bumped into Maddy, whose hand was full of the blankets and pillows, which spilled everywhere. "Maddy, Maddy! I need your phone!"

Maddy poked her head out of the pile of pillows and blankets, "Ya know, lucky that mom and dad is out of town, or we would of been dead."

Ashley couldn't help but giggle and agree, "Yeah. Hey! May I borrow your phone?"

Maddy picked up the pillows and blankets, "I don't care, but what's wrong with yours?"

"Err, it died."

"Oi, fine, but I only have like 10 minutes left on it, don't waste too much of it."

Ashley thanked her sister and ran into her room, which was pretty much filled and cluttered (In a positive way) with Anime figures and Anime posters. She began to dig under the pile of what she calls, her clothes. "YES! Found it!" she said in triumph as she held out a black razor phone with a red neon outline. She dialed the number and pressed the send button.

Meanwhile, Maddy set the sleeping area in her living room. After the finishing touches, she stood back and admired the work. "Ah! This is gonna be great."

Ding-dong

Maddy ran over to her door and opened it to see a girl, with long dark hair, let loose and down. A kakhi colored and white side backpack (messenger bag) hung from her shoulder, "Maddy!" She exclaimed excitedly and waved her hand infront of her face, which was one of her ways of greeting her friends. Maddy laughed and let her in. She stepped in, you seem to notice that she was in her sleepwear already. She wore a grey, silk shirt along with matching silk capris, light purple sakura petals and butterflies decorated at the end, "Nice place you have here." She complimented, placing her black flip-flops aside. "Oh, also, I hope you don't mind me, in my sleepwear, I didn't want to crowd up the bathroom and stuff, well not for tonight that is."

"Kathy!" Maddy exclaimed, "No need to be sorry, it's smart to come in your sleepwear, heh. You brought the CD?" Kathy nodded as she took it out of her backpack. "Great! Ashley would be so happy! Now, just make yourself at home, so you said you were staying here for 4 days, right?"

"Yup! Parents are gone for a couple of months."

"A couple?! Aww, mine is only gone for 3 weeks." Maddy pouted.

"Oh well, 3 weeks is almost a month."

"Yeah, anyways I'll be changing into my own sleepwear."

Kathy nodded as she set herself, on the couch. She took out a blue CD and placed it in the stereo, which was sitting in it's own little corner. Kathy spun around to see Ashley, suprised, "Kathy-chan!!" Ashley squealed and greeted with a glomp.

"Hi Ashley." Kathy smiled and return the glompage. She noticed that Ashley was wearing a light blue Happy Bunny shirt, which had the Happy Bunny looking innocent, remarking: 'Phsyco but Cute, It evens out!' Along with matching pants, which had Happy Bunny printed all over it, literally.

"GASPEH! YOU BROUGHT THE CD!" Ashley clapped. Kathy pressed play upon the Stereo. The first song came up with a bouncy beat; 'Butterfly - Aqua'

"Yay!" Ashley began bouncing around to the music, as Kathy joined, "Ai Yi Yi, I'm your little butterfly!" Ashley sang along with the music. The two stopped at the sight of Maddy standing there having a 'Whatthefuck?' look upon her face.

"Don't mind us!" Kathy exclaimed, sitting back down on the blankets, which were stacked to make a soft cushion. You noticed that on Maddy's black shirt, it reads in white: "99.9% Devil, .1% Other." labeled beneath the large text, in small print, in perentenceses, it reads: "(Who says that there has to be an angel side of me?)" She wore black shorts with flames running up on the side of it.

"Kay, Kathy! I want to fight you first!" Maddy said grabbing her game-controller.

"Fine with me." Kathy agreed, grabbing a controller of her own. "I'm gonna be Haku! Just 'cause at first he looked like a girl." she added. Now, we all must admit that Haku did look like a girl at first glance. Though she still respects him as a strong ninja.

"Kay, I want to be, ummm." Maddy scanned the screen of characters and finally chose one, "Sasuke, I'll give him a try." At that the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" Ashley shouted, getting on to her feet. She scampered to the door and opened it, seeing no one she closed it and made her way back to the living room. She was half way there when the doorbell rang again, "What the..." she peaked out of the window, and no one was there, having the uncomfortable feeling. She ran back to the living room. The doorbell went off once again.

"Ashley! Get the door!" Maddy said agravatingly, "YEAH! A 24-hit combo."

"Want me to get the door?" Kathy asked, not taking her eyes off the screen.

"Please? Cause like, errr It rings and I open the door and no one's there, which is scaring me." Ashley admitted. Maddy paused the game, as Kathy and her throw each other a glance.

"Ya know, that could be dangerous, lets check this out." Maddy said. The doorbell went off once more. The three look towards the door then each other. With Maddy leading the way, they went over. Kathy took the doorknob and slowly turned it and opened the door, she too saw nothing. Nothing but... a bag on the ground.

"Oh! the Chinese food, right there!" Maddy said picking up the bag.

"Did the food ring the doorbell?" Kathy asked a bit paranoid. Ashley couldn't help but laugh as Maddy closed the front door and locked it.

"Doesn't matter, lets eat some food." Maddy place the food upon her coffee table an divided the food as well.

"Huh?" Kathy noticed a note written on the receipt, "Err, it says here 'All for free.'" she said.

"Whoo! Free service, I don't mind that!' Maddy exclaimed

"Yeah and it says 'Do not eat the Fortune cookies within 24 Hours." She said setting the paper aside and stared at the Fortune Cookies, wrapped individually, sitting peacefully in it's corner.

"Well, might as well take the advise, eh?" Ashley said taking a bite out of her beef eggroll. Maddy messed with the peas in the Fried rice before taking a bite. Kathy looked at the Fortune Cookies temptingly. If you want Kathy to do something, the best way to get her to do it is to tell her not to do it. She sipped her coke and began joining her friends on eating.

A couple of hours has passed for the trio. They had their fair share in DDR, Scary story telling, Anime Episodes, and of course the classic 'What do you see in a guy' Game. Pooped and exhasted, they have decided to call it a night.

"Mmkay, well this was fun." Maddy stretched, giving off a tired yawn, "Night!" she plopped on her pillow and fell asleep edmediately.

"Hey, you got a sharpie?" Kathy asked, as a mischievous grin stretched upon her face.

"Yup!" Ashley pulled out a hand full of colorful sharpies, seemingly out of nowhere, "What color?"

Kathy picked out the black one. She popped off the cap and scribble whiskers upon Maddy's face. She closed the cap with a snicker, "Well doesn’t she look cute?"

Ashley tried not to laugh so loud, for she doesn’t want to wake her sister up, "Oh Geeze, Kathy. You're awesome." she wiped a tear from her eye and laid down. Kathy followed suit and laid down as well, "Night Kathy!" Ashley said turning off the light.

"G'night."

Even after all of the commotion, Kathy hasn't forgot about the fortune cookie. Making sure everyone was asleep, she got up and walked over to the coffee table and grabbed a cookie, sitting innocently in it's corner. Kathy gestured herself to the window, where the light of the moon gave her sight. She held the plastic of the cookie tightly, "Why did the paper tell us not to open it?" she couldn't help but to laugh at her last comment, "The /paper/ told us not to do it, I'm hilarious." But then, the bag didn't have a messenger, and it was all free, she did kept this in the back of her head. Ignoring the factor, she opened the cookie bag and broke it in half. She read the print on the slip of paper, carefully. It reads: 'You will be sinned by a passion.' at the bottom it reads (Lucky Numbers: 12, 9, 115) Kathy looked at the back of the paper, to see a music note scribbled on it, "That's it?" she asked herself, "No 'curse' or 'demons' or 'somerandomevilguy'?" Kathy popped a piece of cookie in her mouth, "Losers." At that she spitted out the cookies. "Oh gee, this cookie taste like salt!" She crumbled the fortune and threw it randomly aside, it landed, upon the front cover of the game: 'Naruto: Clash Of Ninja.' Kathy gave off a yawn and crawled back to sleep, "Stupid, cookie. Keeping me up and guessing."

Kathy woke up the next morning to a dense feeling. Sitting up she looked around, it looked nothing like Maddy's living room. The three where in a deep forest. Kathy also noticed something different. Around her waist, she wore, a Naruto Forehead Protector. With a Music Note Symbol, printed in the middle. Or also known as, The Hidden Sound Village symbol. Next to her she noticed the two unopened fortune cookies and her fortune which was still in it's crumbled state. Behind all of that was a blue orb. Kathy picked it up and examined it, the reflection in it didn't show her face, but Maddy's living room, where she saw, Herself, Maddy and Ashley, sleeping peacefully.

"Ah Crap." Kathy said under her breath, "Maddy! Wake up!" Kathy said shaking Maddy's shoulder. Maddy sat up and looked around, quickly aware of her surroundings.

"Wha-? What the heck?! Where are we?"
