The fights we fought together
The principles you taught me
That still lead me through my life
How to let others take the lead, how to fight destiny
 
Other ninjas from the academy
Don't know half of what I do
Because of you I am stronger

Teamwork is what you schooled me in the most

No matter what might happen in life's climbs and dips
 
The day I fought those spiders
Was when I learned how much I meant to you
You fought alongside me, took everything he hurled at me
