Chapter Fifteen
The New Recruits
"WHAT'S THIS I HEAR ABOUT NINJA'S BEING BASED IN SUNAGAKURE AND WHAT'S THIS I HEAR THAT ONE OF THEM IS NARUTO!!!!"
Tsunade placed her pinky finger in her ear and wriggled it about for a little bit, attempting to get back her hearing from the Uchiha heir, who at the moment was being whacked around by Shizune.
"Show some respect for Tsunade-sama!"Shizune yelled out. Sasuke nursed a bump on his head. "She is the Hokage!"
"I wanna know everything about this!"Sasuke complained.
"Sasuke, calm down,"Sakura guided.
"I'll calm down when I figure out what's going on here! Why are ninja's going to be posted in Suna?"Sasuke growled.
"Ninja's are going to be posted all throught the allied villages,"Shizune stated.
"If you weren't out-of-it, the night when I sent Akio to your house to inform you, then you would've known sooner, and I could've kept my hearing,"Tsunade loudly stated. "But since you insist on destroying my ear drums, perhaps I wont tell you."
Sasuke growled and almost jumped up, if not for Sakura's quick reflexes to seat him. He grumbled something inaudiable (especially to Tsunade), and turned his head with arms crossed.
"Hokage-sama, I apologize for Sasuke-kuns behavior. Could you please inform him again of the situation at hand,"Sakura calmly requested.
"Of course,"Tsunade smiled smugly. Then her expression turned serious. "The Hidden Villages are in grave danger. Several missing-nins have been reported of mass destruction up in the northern villages."
"The Atasuki?"Sakura and Sasuke questioned in unison. Tsunade shook her head.
"We don't know the name of the organization, but it works in similiar ways. We do know one thing however. Those who primarilly make up this unknown organization, are rather powerful shinobi, long since dead by their villages. The discovery of the network has them classifyied now as missing-nins because it is now known that they are not dead."
"How many are there?"asked Sasuke, face turning dead grave.
"A hunter-nin from Kiri has reported that there were five main shinobi, and followed behind them are at least ten subordinates. There was also rumored to have been an army."
"An army?"Sakura asked ghastly.
"Before of course the hunter-nins untimely death, he had stated that there was an army that followed. Ninjas stalking like puppets behind their masters, the five main generals taking command, the ten behind them, destroying all that they could see,"Tsunade spoke.
"How come no villages had reported this? Why did you say this was a rumor?"Sasuke asked loudly. "Where did this happen?"
"The village formerly known as Aisugakure, Village Hidden in the Ice, a relatively known and rather small village farthest up north, has been entirely destroyed, yet the destruction remains the only evidence of an attack. There was left not a single survivor, only the single hunter-nin who was smart enough to document the attack. The village was unstable, thought to have erupted in a civil war."
"So, let me get this straight. An unknown organization, NOT Atasuki, has destroyed an entire village, has an army at their disposal, and contains powerful once thought dead ninja's?"Sasuke questioned.
"Yes. Currently, Konoha and Suna are setting up posts as are other countries. This is a deadly organization whose intentions are not clear,"Tsunade stated. "They destroy everything in their path, so we must be on alert."
"Has the Kazekage requested any certain ninja's to accompany him back to Sunagakure?"Sakura asked.
"I have the list right here,"Tsunade stated pointing to her desk. "I have sent messengers to request the selected ninja's to attend an emergency meeting, later tonight. They will leave tonight."
"Tell me Hokage, am I on that list?"Sasuke asked.
Tsunade didn't even look at the list to answer the question.
"No."

Akina grumbled a few curses, picking herself up off the ground, her eldest sister Haruko watching her with a trained gaze.
"Be patient with your attacks Akina-chan. We master attacks of grace, elegance, power and patience!"Haruko spoke as Akina went to throw another attack with her fists and kicks.
She growled in frustration as Harukos mastered techniques and movement made hers look sloppy.
"Like the lovely rose our attacks must be elegant, beautiful, yet deadly like its thorns,"Haruko guided. Akina fell to the ground again. "We are soliders of flowers, masters of the Earth element."
Quickly assembeling a few handseals, Akina shouted out, "HANAFUBUKI!" Haruko recognized the widely used jutsu, as one of the Hazumi Clans finest attacks. A spray of cherry blossom petals mysteriously appeared from behind her, swirling around her body before she commanded them to the direction of Haruko.
The Hanafubuki technique used sakura petals as blades. Haruko countered the attack with one she had attempted to teach Akina, "HANAKOTOBA!"
Petals upswept from Harukos feet, and created a shield around the elder womans body. The sakura petals were quickly deflected, but by the time Haruko's shield dissapated, Akina jumped foreward to catch her eldest sister off guard.
The battle had gained attention from train-worn Hinata and Tenten who watched with amusement, wondering if in fact, Akina could get the upperhand of Haruko for once.
"GOTCHA!"Akina smirked.
"SENJUTSU!"
Akina's kick was quickly rendered useless as Harukos body burst into hundreds of rose petals, her symbolic flower. With a dissapearing grin, those rose petals assimilated back into Haruko's body, unscathed, and compared to her little sisters, perfeclty clean.
"No fair!"Akina complained, falling to the ground, tired.
"It's at this point in time, that you can draw the chakra of the living flowers around you, to gain strength. The Hazumi's secret techniques are rare and powerful attacks and defenses, designed to make the user virtually untouchable."
"Yeah yeah,"mumbled Akina. "I liked training with Natsu and Hanami. At least they let me win a few. You ALWAYS win."
Haruko chuckled, helping her sister up.
"Good job Akina-chan,"Hinata smiled, as her and Tenten walked over to the dueling sisters.
"I'll never master all of these techniques!"cried Akina with an exasperated breath. "There's too many!"
"You'll get it soon enough,"Tenten encouraged.
"At least you're fast,"Hinata noted.
Akina kicked stone. "Yeah, I guess. I'm going home to get cleaned up."
"See you later,"Haruko waved.
Akina continued to grumble and mumble upon her way home unknown to the pair of eyes watching her.

Naruto had made it his personal mission to remain under the radar all day long. Until he remembered that he was informed to meet with several other jounin and chuunin at the Hokage Tower for a very important, miss it and Tsunade will kill you, meeting.
He entered the room to see three pairs of familiar eyes watching only him. Others noted his presence with a slight wave or a nod. There was quite the number of people there.
Kakashi was there standing by Sasuke, whom they apparently were engaging in a conversation before Naruto had walked in. Neji stood by Hinata whom in which the cousins were rather silent. Sakura was in between standing and talking with Temari. Ino was there with Shikamaru, Rock Lee was there by Sakura of course. Three Hazumi sisters were there, Yuri, Kaoru and Ran who all wore worried expression on their faces.
Akio was there with his cousin Kotetsu, whom Naruto hadn't seen in a long time but remembered him from the Chuunin Exam when they switched the numbers on the door. Mitarashi Anko, Yuhi Kurenai, Sarutobi Asuma and Maito Gai were there, all talking amongst themselves.
Shino was beside Kiba and one couldn't help but notice the seven Suna ninja's there.
"Glad you could make it Naruto,"Tsunade stated.
Naruto nodded and stood beside Kiba, figuring that it would be best to stand by someone who wasn't trying to molest you.
"We are in a grave situation. An unknown organization has been destroying the northern villages. To keep it short, we are going to send seven ninja's to Suna to set up a post there. In result, seven of Suna's ninja's will be here. We plan on setting up equilivent exchanges throughout our allied villages. The Kazekage here has requested a few shinobi to attend him on the journey back to Suna to set up a post."
"I am aware that some of you have a genin team under your jurisdiction. Let it be known that they will also attend to stand post in Sunagakure,"Gaara spoke.
"Those who will attend, if you have a genin team underneath you, you will inform their parents, and gather them. And prepare to leave tonight. Uzumaki Naruto,"Tsunade listed, ignoring Sasuke's huffing growl, "Haruno Sakura, Yamanaka Ino, Hatake Kakashi, Yuhi Kurenai, Hazumi Yuri and Hazumi Ran."
"Hold on a second!"Sasuke shouted out. Gaara raised a brow. "I demand to assist post in Sunagakure."
"You are not necessary,"Gaara stated.
"What about me?"Neji demanded.
"Neji-niisan,"Hinata sighed.
"Very well,"Gaara smirked.
"What?"Neji asked rather suprised.
"I said, very well. I will call two more ninja's from Suna to set post here. We'll leave nine,"Gaara turned to Tsunade who nodded.
"Gather your teams,"Tsunade stated.
The door burst open, a heavilly flustered group of girls walked in, lead by a woman and a man.
"Aunt Suzuki, Uncle Seto, what's up?"Sakura asked rushing to her aunts side.
"Sakura! Sakura we need your help!"Suzuki pleaded.
"What's wrong?"Sakura asked.
"It's Akina!"spoke Heza.
"What about Akina?"Saskue now spoke up, concern written on his face.
"She's missing. All we found was her headband,"cried Sumire holding the tattered and slightly burned headband of Akina, with several splotches of blood.
Gaara and Tsunade gave eachother a glance at eachother. "Send out the ANBU, I want every able shinobi searching for that girl. We're on high alert, it could be them."
Sasuke was already gone, jumping out the window into the night to search for his student.
