You've abandoned me since childhood
Neglected my every need
I only wanted a father
Back then I didn't understand
But now I know the truth
You're no father of mine
 
You called for me but even then
It was for purely selfish needs
You needed me to pilot for you
But other than that you ignored me
Against all odds I hoped
That you would take me in
But now I know the truth

You even had the nerve to replace me
A girl with blue hair and red eyes
Her name was Rei and you loved her
Much more than you ever loved me
I thought that you were incapable of love
Or do you just not love me?
 
You send us all to our deaths
Fighting for a hopeless cause
One day you will get what you deserve
But `till then I can only prayer
