An aftermath
A forest fire
Burnt trees cover the once grassy land
Red tumbleweeds sit untouched
In a dry atmosphere
Frozen rivers
Melting snow layers
Sleeping along the grass and burnt trees
Waterfalls drip quietly
I cannot hear them in my passing car
I gaze
Tired, a melancholic ride
My head again the armrest
The otherworldly winter forest
Through my eyes
