M-J

Finally alone, you approach me
And I take you in my arms
A meeting of the eyes
An exchange of smiles
A deal sealed with a kiss

Captivated by you, I sigh softly
As I recall the day this all began
So surreal and yet so vivid
Back then I had only suspected
Something was amiss

Who could have forseen this?
A deep, intimate friendship
Unorthodox, to some degree
A love strong, but no complete
Unbridled hedonistic bliss

More than I could ask for
All that I could ever need
Yet somehow not enough
For my jealous, lusting greed
I do not deserve this

Guilt plagues my mind
Your touch an ironic cure
Your teeth upon my neck
A placebo like no other
How could I resist?

Your heart belongs to another
But I could never quit
Despite my conflicting interest
While any temptation remains
Embers of my hope exist
