A dream can't hold you
Trust me, I've tried
'Specially when you wake up
Trust me, I've cried
I loved him
And I still do
But in his dreams
He's always with you
A thousand smiles he can't see
Never will erase
The million tears you'll later cry
Rolling down your face
He's too far away
They told me too true
The words he won't say
Now I'm telling you
The tears won't take memories away

But neither will they make him stay
