Once more Patrick was asleep at his desk. His last class hadn't done anything other than talk and text which didn't bother him so long as they did so quietly. Just like before he was still in his P.E. clothes, not even bothering to change due to the exhaustion. When his door opened, he groaned, not looking up. "Class is over."
Leia locked the door behind her. "This is detention."
Patrick moved slightly, looking up as she locked the door. Yawning, he stretched slowly and checked the clock. "So it is."
She moved to the desk and sat next to him. Slipping her shoes off, she put her feet in his lap. "Did you like your lunch?"
"Yes. It was even better than breakfast," he admitted, watching her, curious as to why she was so comfortable around him.
"Good," she said smiling. "Are the condoms your size?"
His cheeks tinted lightly. "I haven't exactly had the time to check."
She nodded. "Did you not prepare me any work today either?"
He knew what this was leading up to. "I feel asleep when I was suppose to be doing that."
She hopped off the desk and went around to his back. Slowly, she started massaging his shoulders. "You really must have done something crazy last night to be so tired. Go partying?"
"Not quite." He moaned at her touch. She was good. Maybe she would work on the strain on his thighs and rear end from all the stretching. "I had to bail someone out of jail."
"Must have cost a lot..." she said softly.
He shrugged. "He's family so it's worth it."
She nodded. "I've had to bail my dad out a few times," she said. "Do you like your car?"
Gabe's words of warning came back to him. "Yes, it is wonderful, though you really shouldn't have done that...."
She shrugged. "I don't mind. You needed a new car." She moved and sat in his lap. "I think you need some new gym clothes too."
He bit his lip as she sat down in his lap. "This was all the school had left," he told her. "Otherwise I would gladly change."
"I'll see what I can do," she assured him.
He smirked as she shifted beneath her. "Really? And here I was thinking that you enjoyed the view."
"I do, very much so. But I don't like the view you are giving everyone else."
"Trust me, I doubt anyone else is very concerned with my body."
"You don't see what I see," she said. "Carroll Travis was staring at you the whole class today. You are a very young teacher. Girls stare even when you're in a sweater."
"Wait, Carroll, isn't she the one that the P.E. teacher was with?"
"No that was Mary. Carroll is her twin."
"Oh..." Well, that should tell you how much he paid attention to his students. "I didn't realize that I was so fascinating. I guess I should start wearing thicker clothes."
"If you did that then I wouldn't get a view." Not that she showed for his class anyway.
"Well, I guess you should make up your mind whether or not you want a view or if you want your classmates to have a view. I'm afraid that I can't please everyone."
"Well, I buy you clothes I think are appropriate."
He looked at her and shook his head. "I have clothes. You certainly don't need to buy me any."
"Of course I don't need to. I don't need to do anything. I do it because I can."
He sighed. "I wouldn't wear anything that you bought so there's no point in even trying."
She smirked. "We'll see about that." She stood, put her shoes back on and grabbed her bag. Unlocking the door, she walked out and pulled out the new phone she got. Pushing a few numbers, she smiled. "I need a favor," she said to the other person on the line.
She was up to something and he didn't like it. Did she really think that he would just do what she said? Dress like she wanted him dressed. Drive what she wanted him to drive. It was ridiculous. When he got home later that day, the first thing he noticed was that his door was unlocked. After making certain that no one had stolen anything, he went to his closet to grab something to put on.
As soon as he pulled it open he growled. Grabbing the phone, he dialed Leia's number. "This isn't funny!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about," she smirked as she sat on her bed. "How did you get my number? Kinda stalker-ish don't you think?"
"It's in your student records. I've been reviewing the files of every student at night," he told her. "And that's not the point! First you have a car delivered to my house. That's stalker-ish! Next you have someone break into my house, steal all my clothes, and replace them with...with...well, with this stuff!"
"It's just a new wardrobe. Don't get your panties in a wad. You have some food in the fridge too. I can't believe you didn't have anything in there. There are a few catering service food in there too," she said as she laid back on the bed. "It's so nice of you to call and thank me. Want to have phone sex? Or I can come over."
"I don't have panties," he muttered. He paused, looking over at his underwear drawer. "I don't...do I?" There was no telling with this girl. She was, well...psycho. "What did you do with all my old clothes?" He was ignoring her other comments. He couldn't even think straight right now.
"You have boxer briefs. They sung in all the right places. And I gave your old clothes to the shelter. They needed them more thank you," she snapped. She hung up the phone and left it on her bed to go watch movies with the boys in the living room.
"Psycho school girl buys me an entire wardrobe," he sighed. Why did he always find the crazy ones?
The next morning, Leia showed up at Patrick's class. Nathan was there. "Are you in all my classes?"
"Most of them," he said as he sat down.
"Are you new this year or something?"
He laughed. "No. I've been going to the same school as you since kindergarten."
Leia sat next to him, surprising Rio and Gabe that she wasn't sitting next to them. "I've never noticed."
"I know."
"Strange."
"Not really."
She smiled. She really did like him. He really was funny.
Patrick was late to class once again, but at least he seemed awake this time. He fidgeted with his new clothes. He wasn't wearing anything too extremely fancy, but they were still much nicer than anything he was accustomed to. The simple white button shirt, emerald green tie, and brown slacks were decent enough. The tie made his eyes almost sparkle; at least that was what one of the students said when they saw him.
Opening the door, he nodded to the class. "Okay then," he said slowly, his eyes glancing, not realizing Leia was there cause her seat was empty as usual. "Today I want you to tell me about your favorite stories."
Leia groaned. "You really hate this class don't you?"
"Nope...just the assignments," she said. "Want to skip with me?"
"As tempting as that sounds," he said smiling sweetly at her, "I like this class."
She sulked in her sleep. "I'll pay you to skip with me."
"Why don't you just skip by yourself like you always do?"
"Skipping is a lot more fun when someone is there to skip with you."
"Rio, tell us what your favorite book is." At the very least he could always count on Rio. That kid was like a walking example of the perfect student. He was going to cry when this kid graduated.
"It's so hard to choose," Rio said happily. "Maybe To Kill a Mocking Bird...or A Tale of Two Cities...or...."
"Boring!" Leia yelled.
Rio turned red. "Not everyone only reads The Cat in the Hat!"
"Please, that cat is the funnies thing you know!"
Rio pouted while Leia and Nathan laughed. Gabe patted Rio's shoulder.
Patrick looked up when he heard her voice. So, she actually came to class. "Then tell us Leia, what is your favorite book?"
"The Cat in the Hat. Duh," she said.
Nathan laughed harder. "You look more like a...adventure girl."
"She is," Gabe said. "Her favorite books are about other worlds or alternate realities. Like Anne Rice's books."
Nathan looked at Leia. "You like Anne Rice?"
"Yeah, she's pretty awesome," she shrugged.
"I like her too." Leia smiled.
"See? Was that so hard?" He smirked as he sat on his desk. "Which of her books do you like best?"
"A Vampire Lestat," she said. "I love her Vampire Chronicles."
"I have them all."
Leia smiled at him. "Do you have her new ones?"
"I have all her books."
"Ah, Lestat," he smiled. "An excellent fictional character if there ever was one. I was a personal fan of the later story arcs myself. The movie wasn't half bad itself."
"Movies," Leia corrected. "There are two with him in it. He's my book crush..."
"If you want someone to suck your blood, Leia, I'm sure one of the boys wouldn't mind," Gabe teased.
"I wouldn't mind," Nathan said to her. Leia turned away with a blush.
"That's quite enough, Nathan," he said as he walked down the aisles. "I wasn't that big of a fan of the Queen of the Damned. Though Interview with a Vampire was well done."
"Sorry, Mr. McClain," Nathan said, his eyes not off Leia.
"I can't complain. Lestat looked hot in both movies."
Patrick shrugged. "Yes, well, I guess he did." Going back to the front of the room, he continued his lesson for the today, finishing it up with the work assignment while he prepared things for his next class.
"Did the condoms fit?" Nathan asked as the class cleared out of the room.
"Don't know. Haven't tried them yet," she said with a smirk.
He smiled.
Leia locked the door behind her. "This is detention."
