My Angel

Dateline: Jen and Sammi got into a fight.

Sammi was just sitting on a metal fence on the warm September morning watching the beautiful chrysanthemums sway in the wind when she saw a handsome-looking boy. This boy was tall, dark-skinned, with brown eyes and short black hair. Sammi was instantly blushing. He was so fine. So she decided to go talk to him. She slid off the fence and walked over to him. The boy turned and saw her. Sammi was really blushing.

“Uh… Hi,” said she when she got to him.

“Hi,” he said to her. Oh my god! He spoke to me, she thought. The two began talking. Sammi was a little edgy at first, but then she began to relax.

“Well, got to go!” the boy said at last. Sammi just stood there blushing.

Sammi waltzed in merrily the house. Ash looked up from the TV.

“Hey Sammi,” he said to her.

“Hi Ash,” she bellowed out with a sigh. Jen started to get up and walk away to her room.

“You look happy,” Ash said stunned.

“I met a boy,” she answered. Jen froze dead in her tracks and turned slightly.

Did, she just say she has met a boy? Hope it's not Wayne.

“Really?” Ash asked. Sammi nodded. Jen waited to hear who it was.

“So… What's his name?” Ash asked.

Yes, tell us who it is, Jen thought crossly.

“His name is Wayne,” the sea green-haired girl answered. Jen was so furious that she wanted to scream in rage!

“Oh really… where have I had that name before?” Ash replied.

“He's my man, Poppy!” Jen yelled from the hall.

“Oh,” he said. “Have you got to meet him?” Sammi asked smartly.

“Yes, I almost did,” Jen answered.

“Then you chickened out, huh?” Sammi asked. Jen said nothing. She remembered that embarrassing memory about how she walked over to him in the staking rank and when he spoke to her, she blushed and ran away.

“I even talked to him,” Sammi said. That did it! Jen wanted to scream and rip out all of her hair. Instead, she stormed off to her room in anger and slammed the door. It was so loud that Ash and Sammi could hear it from downstairs. Sammi turned to Ash. “Do you have homework?” she asked him.

“Uh…” said he. Then he turned away in guilt. It was clear that didn't do his weekend homework.

Jen was violently angry. Perky little bitch! First, she steals my poppy, and now my man! Whatever will I do?!

She sat on her bed in defeat. Then she came up with a great idea.

I'll call Madre!

She slid off her and went downstairs. She had to seek down the hall because Ash was studying and Sammi was watching him. Jen made it to the kitchen. She quickly grabbed the portable and ran back to her room. Once she got onto her bed, Jen rapidly dialed Angela's phone number.

“Hello?” Angela said with no enthusiasm in her voice.

“Madre!” Jen wailed over the phone.

“Jenny don't whine. What's the problem?” Angela asked calmly and unenthusiastic. Jen explained the whole situation.

“Well, I know what it's like to be replaced by another girl,” Angela said.

“So what should I do?” Jen asked.

“Well, If you really love, steal him back,” her future mother answered. Jen didn't get it at first but then, a sinister grin appeared upon her face.

“Okay! But how?” she asked.

“I'll tell you all you need to know,” Angela said.

That afternoon, Jen was walking around park when she saw Wayne chilling in the shade of the willows with a vanilla icy.

Now's my chance! She walked over to cool and claim. Wayne looked up from his drink and saw Jen coming towards him.

“Hi Wayne,” she said once she got over to him.

“Hi Jen,” he said to her.

“Do you remember me?” she asked him. Wayne thought for a minute then said.

“You're that girl from the skating ring,” he said. Jen felt she was going to die from that. She wished she hadn't brought that up. Not good! Well, Gotta come up with something to say back!

“So, why did you run off like that?” Wayne asked. Jen drew in a deep breath and answered, “I wanted to talk to you but when you spoke to me, I got scared and ran.” Jen explained.

“But, why?” the boy asked.

“Because… Because…” the young immortal began. She wanted to tell him but she couldn't.

“Because what?” Wayne asked. Finally, Jen was able to speak her mind.

“Because… I like you,” she mumbled.

“What?” Wayne asked.

“I like you,” Jen said a little louder.

“What?” Wayne asked again.

“I like you!” Jen yelled, blushing. Wayne was taken aback.

“You like me?” he asked her. Jen nodded.

“Wow! I've never heard a girl say that to me before,” he said. This made Jen feel important. Then they talked on until Wayne said, “Well, got to go!” Jen just stood in the park blushing.

He likes me too! Ha-ha! Sammi, Take that!

That dusk, Jen talked about her afternoon in the park. Sammi tried not to cry but it was unbearable. So she left the table and went to the guest room.

Jen has told Wayne she likes him. She's so mean!

Then she came up with a plan.

I'll give him lots of gifts. Jen will be green in the face!

Then Sammi went to sleep with her plan in her head.

The next day, Jen and Wayne were talking when Sammi came over to Wayne with a tray of cupcakes. The two looked up at her.

“Oh hi Sammi,” Wayne said. Jen frowned. Wayne saw the tray in Sammi's hand.

“Is that for me?” Wayne asked. Sammi nodded.

“Oh, thank you,” he said. Jen got angry.

“I'll be right back, okay?” she said. She got up and ran to the snack stands.

That little goody-goody bitch! She has to come along and ruin everything! If that's how she's going to play it…

Jen used her powers and made Wayne a batch of cookies. She took them over to him.

“I've been making something for you too,” Jen said. Then she handed him the plate.

“Thanks,” he said to her. Sammi became jealous. So she disappeared and came back with a plate of brownies. Wayne grew excited. Jen grew distressed. So she disappeared and came back with a huge bag of candy. Wayne's jaw dropped. Sammi came back with a huge chocolate-frosted cake.

This gift-giving battle kept on until Wayne yelled: “Stop!”

Both girls paused and looked up at him.

“Look, I like both, but I don't want a girlfriend right now. So let's just be friends!” he shouted. The girls nodded in disappointment. They had both lost their chance to get with the one boy they loved.

“Great. Now… Bye!” he yelled. Wayne ran away as if a demon was chasing him. Jen and Sammi just stood there. Then turned to each and yelled, “This is your fault! Boyfriend-stealer!” Then they got into a huge fight.
