Chapter 2

There's something about her
We were still in the park since it was still raining. My
legs were getting numb from standing up for so long. I
started to kneel down when she got up from the swing.
"Sorry, you don't have to stay here if you don't want to,"
she said while playing with her hands. Normally, I would
have just gotten up and left, but there's something about
her that makes me want to stay by her side. "That's okay,
I'll walk you home whenever you're ready." I smiled and
stood up to cover her with my umbrella, "plus, it's still
raining, you'll catch a cold." "I can walk home myself and
I'm already going to catch a cold since my clothes are
wet," she said while feeling her clothes, "and my house is
close by so nothing would happen to me." I shook my head,
"it's already night time and there could be someone that
will stalk you." She let out a sigh and turned around,
"fine, but you have to promise me something." I raised my
eyebrow, "what?" She came closer to me revealing herself to
me, "promise me that you wouldn't fall for me." Her eyes
were warm as her wet bangs covered her soft skin, "and what
if I do fall for you?" She turned around, "you'll regret
it," and started walking away. "Wait," she turned around as
I suddenly yelled out, "I promise." She smiled at me as I
started to walk her home.

The next day--
Waking up, I had a huge headache and the sound of my
cellphone's ring tone did not seem to help at all. I
reached over and grabbed my cellphone from the table next
to my bed and looked at the caller id; 'SeungRi'. I
shrugged and scratched my head before getting up. Getting
out of the shower, I heard my cellphone's ring tone again.
Without looking at the caller id, I picked it up, "Hell--".
"Hyung, oh my gad, why didn't you pick up earlier!" Typical
SeungRi. "I was in the shower, when are you coming over?"
"Oh uh, around dinner time," he said with a nervous laugh.
We hung up and got my keys, wallet and cellphone before
going out to buy some food. I knew that was still too young
to drink so I ended up buying him some carbonated soda that
he likes so much.

SeungRi came over just when I placed the last plate on the
table. "Wow, this place hasn't changed at all," he said
looking around the living room, "and you actually kept this
place clean for once. I raised my eyebrow, "you were only
gone for 2 years and just be grateful that I didn't make
you pay all those rent money that you owe me." "That's
because I'm your one and only maknae," he said smiling as I
handed him his favorite soda.

As we were eating our dinner, I noticed that his dark
circles had gotten darker. "Yah, you need more sleep," I
said while picking up some kim chee. "Don't worry hyung,"
he said as he placed a chicken in his mouth, "I sleep for
half the day." I nodded as I picked up some fish, "hey
SeungRi?" He looked up at me, "what?" I started poking the
fish in my bowl, "I met this girl yes--" "Oh? What's her
name," he asked while placing another piece of chicken in
his mouth. "I never asked for her name," I said as I picked
up the fish to eat, "but there's something about her that
makes curious." "Is she pretty," he asked. "Yeah, she is
but it seems like she's hiding something." "Well girls are
weird, it'll take a miracle for us to understand them," he
said as he picked up his soda. I placed my bowl down and
stood up and got my keys. "Where are you going, hyung?"
"Out for a walk, enjoy your food," I said opening the door.
"Have fun," he said while eating the fish that was inside
my bowl as I rolled my eyes at him and walked out the
apartment into the cool night.
