Chap 7

"So, should we trust them?" Sage asked. It was late at night, about 1 am, Mia, Ryo, Rowen, Sage, Kento and Cye decided to have a meeting with no chance of interruption. They sat in the den, with the door closed and locked. Ryo's shoulder was a perfect pillow for Mia, as Sage sat on top of the desk. The sky outside was deep and dark, the mood of all 6 was tense, but not angry.

"I think we shouldn't make a huge bond yet. Keep some distance." Cye recommend as Kento nodded his head in agreement.

"I think we can trust them, if they where trying to hurt anyone of us, wouldn't they have done it already? There's been about 15 opportunities for them to strike if that's what they where sent for." Mia said her piece.

"I agree with Mia, they way they act shows nothing phony." Rowen recalled, Mia smiled with his help to keep all ties with the ladies pure and safe.

"How about we wait for a few days then decide what will happen." Ryo told them. Sage and Rowen agreed as Kento began to snore. Feeling as though all was decided upon, they finally made their way to bed.

"RYO! RYO! WAKE UP!" Ryo heard the muffled words of what sounded like Rowen's voice. Slowly opening his eyes he saw the outline of Rowen's blue hair and headband. His eyes adjusted to the night when Rowen pulled up off the bed.

"What?" Ryo asked thinking he was stuck in a dream. Rowen's panic blared off his face.

"It's Kento, and Ray, their missing!" Rowen's face was entangled in pure shock, Ryo shot up and darted out the front door calling his sub armor. He saw Tifa, Senya, Mia, Cye, everyone but Kento and Ray. They were all in sub-armor but Mia. All the women had on sub-armor just like they're, Tifa wore a silver colored sub-armor, Senya had yellow, and Lillia had a deep dark purple.

"What happened!" Ryo insisted to know. Sage tried to defend the girls but Ryo eyed Lillia for an explanation.

"Ryo-" Ryo just stared at Lillia.

"What? You think Ray did this? You've gotta be kidding me! Ray's window was broke, she was screaming when she was dragged out of her room!" Lillia hollered. Ryo's face didn't change though; as the others watched.

"Really? What Tifa was the only one to hear her right? What did she do to Kento!!" He growled not believing a word Lillia said.

"Whoooaa! WATCH IT RYO!" Tifa shouted.

"Forget it, you can delay saving Kento, but we're finding Ray now." Senya pulled Lillia away from engaging another argument and glanced at the sprinting Tifa. Lillia and Senya looked at Mia, Mia wasn't sure who to go with. Her knew Ronin's that she was apart of. Or her friends. She looked at Ryo, then back at the two. Lillia nodded her head as began to run after Tifa. Mia wished she could call her armor, but wasn't able too, she ran over to her jeep and started down the driveway. Ryo jumped onto White blaze who dashed on the pavement. Tifa, Lillia and Senya entered the city and noticed no cars, or people. Even the buildings were blank. Lillia stopped and yelled ay her friends.

"Wait." She said as the sky was dark and gray. The clouds traveled at a high rate of speed. Tifa looked at Senya with wide eyes. Senya placed her palm on Tifa's shoulder and kept looking above. Lillia made eye contact with the other two who didn't disagree, evil was among them.

"ARMOR OF ARIES DOA CHI!!!" Lillia's beautiful deep purple armor that looked Lady Kayura's armor but with purple instead of green. She held her long daggers in her hands and watched the light erupt and dance in the sky. Her friends followed her lead.

"ARMOR OF CYPRESS DOA CHI!!!" Senya's voice growled as her beautiful yellow armor appeared with a pair of nunchucks in her hands. Just like Lillia's her armor was extremely feminine and yellow.

"ARMOR OF HAEDUS DOA CHI!!!" Tifa's armor was silver as they kept they're eyes on the sky. A irritating giggle that consumed the air floated around the three, as they turned looking for they're enemy a deep smog covered their vision.

"Ryo!" Mia yelled in terror seeing a slump body laying in the road ahead. As though it was planned the smog around the slim soul seemed to disappear leading them to the still Ronin. Ryo pulled over. Cye, Rowen and Sage ran quickly to the purple Ronin. Seeing the body more clearly Rowen began running faster then the others and kneeled quickly down to the body that wasn't dead or unconsionce. It was Lillia, she laid on the cold asphalt in a horse shoe shape crying in pain. Her eyes where open, but it seemed as thought she couldn't hear Rowen or the others speak to her. She just stared ahead as tears poured from her eyes.

"Lillia?!" Rowen yelled while brushing her hair our of her face. He turned her face softly, and as though she was out of a trance she grabbed hold of Rowen and he cradled her slowly. Her head placed under his chin he looked at the others with concern. Mia knelt down as her face was plastered with confusion. Rowen held her close as the tears still fell down her face. Ryo watched until his eyes saw a flicker of gold behind Rowen and Lillia. He stood up and saw a huge gold acent gate. Ryo glanced up to see a golden entrance that looked a few thousand years old. It was in a half circle, it had an orb at the very enter tip which was a deep black and flashes of lighting and energy rushed between the sides of the orb and entrance. His eyes stayed locked on the entrance, which had to have lead to Talpa's realm, he knew it. He began slowly stepping towards it though it was so far away; it was hard to miss. But before he could move another inch, it disappeared with a flash of light. He shook his head, and squinted his eyes thinking it was illusion as Rowen's voice spoke behind him.

"Lillia," He said softly. She stayed tucked in his arms as Sage looked up at Ryo.

"Guys, come with me, Mia stay here with Rowen." Ryo told them. Sage nodded his head as Cye followed Ryo's orders. They walked over to Ryo and kept their eyes open. "I saw something, I think it was a gateway. But I'm not sure, it vanished." He told them.

"Lillia, you're safe, talk to me." Rowen asked, she was no longer historically crying, and she began to acknowledged Mia and Rowen.

"Their, their gone," Is all she said she moved from her comforting position and with full eyes she looked into Rowen's.

"Senya and Tifa?" Mia asked with desperation. Lillia blinked as more tears dripped down her drenched cheeks. She slowly nodded her head and placed her face back under Rowen's chin. Mia looked sadly and went to touch Lillia's back when she noticed blood trickling but her hair line on the back of her neck. "OH GOD! Rowen." Mia got Rowen's attention and showed him her wound.

"No wonder." He said. Mia quickly ripped the bottom seam of her shirt and pressed it against the river of red, as Lillia didn't even flinch. Rowen nodded at Mia then moved back to look at Lillia. "Lil, we need you help, to save Senya and the others, do you remember what happened."

"Give her a moment," A chilling voice called in the smog gathering everyone's attention. Lillia's eye shot open and her mind clicked as though her dream state ended. "She shall remember."

"RYO!" Rowen called for his aid. An outlined male figure should through the fog as he came near.

"Don't hurt him!" Lillia yelled as her trance ended suddenly and she was able to stand up quickly and like a child in a candy store, her eyes hung open.

"My young one, take your time I need no help entering a crowed street safely." The body was no easily seen. An old man possibly, but his eyes where hard to see under a hat. Rowen got off his knees and went to Lillia's side.

"They-they-"

"Calm down, I've seen your problems from afar. Your injured, you need to relax." He waved his hand at Lillia, as Rowen knew the man meant for him to watch over her. "Now-"

"Who are you?!" Ryo's snaring voice called while ignoring Lillia's words of this man being a friend. He finally was able to see him fully; it was the ancient one. "Ancient one? But-"

Ryo and the other male Ronins had only met him twice, and his help was useful to them.

"Talpa has called to have every single one of the Ronins to be captured, you are allowing yourselves to be taken as you sit blindly in this open road." He spoke while leaning on his large golden staff. Mia was still distraught and broke in.

"What can we do to stop the bleeding!? Her armor doesn't heal!" She whined, almost brought to tears over her friend.

"That is up to you, I have stayed much too long." He turned away and began to disappear.

"WAIT! HOW DO I DO THAT!?" Mia yelled in slight anger.

"Turn to those you know, you hold the key Mia." He said as the smog covered him until he was no longer able to b e seen. Mia turned to Lillia almost in a panic as Lillia touched the back of her head. Her eyes wrenched in pain as she felt the deep cut.

"What the hell could that mean!!" Mia yelled in fury.

"Reyeden." She said. Mia opened her mouth, but no words formed. "Call on the armor of Reyeden, if it's you, then you'll have it." She paused and turned to the others behind her. "If not, I will still open a gate and one other Ronin will come with me into Talpa's realm." Not bothering to argue over her physically state, Ryo nodded his head in an agreement. Mia looked at her hands as though it would hold the answer as Lillia barked. "Look I'm not sticking around for a matinee, I need to know now! Either you in or out!" Lillia became inpatient as Mia began to breathe heavily. She glanced at Ryo who had a huge grin on his face.

"ARMOR OF REYEDEN! DOA CHI!!!" She yelled as a unfamiliar sensation came over her body. She spun in a dark light and awhile ribbons of beautiful colors wrapped over her body covering every naked inch. She stopped spinning as a ribbon created a hard shell over her body. Feeling powerful, the next thing she remembered was the stares from the boys. Lillia closed her eyes and touched her neck; the blood was gone as well as the cut.

"Great, after 3 years I've found you, Mia of Reyeden." Lillia said as Mia looked at her petite armor. It was a color of aqua, and she had a long black staff in her left palm. Ryo's felt his stomach turn, his eyes looked at Mia with attraction in them. Mia gripped her staff in both hands as Lillia began to open a gate. With the swift movement of her hand gate like Ryo had seen before emerged behind them. They all simultaneously began to run towards the gate.

"Now this leads to the Westside of Talpa's empire, it'll be almost 6 miles before we get an buildings and such. We have miles of open woods." Lillia shouted.

"You've been here before?" Cye questioned as they came near the gate.

"Course." Lillia and Ryo were the first to pierce the portal's throbbing metallic surface. Mia, Cye, Sage and Rowen watched their bodies float into the waving gate into a hell of a lifetime. They walked completely through then Mia and Rowen stepped in, followed lastly by Cye and Sage. The forest they entered looked as though it was earth, barren dirt, and a few trees here and there filled with many cherry blossoms. Lillia and Ryo traced the plan that was open for miles. The stood silent as the other Ronins appeared behind them. Mia looked around and broke the silence.

"Where's the gate?" She asked.

"Hidden, for years Talpa's being trying to find all 7. These ones in Talpa's realm stay hidden with a spell the Ancient one placed on this hell many years ago. It'll stay invisible until it's broken." Lillia said. She turned to the others.

"We need to all be in sub armor, this way it's harder to detect. Also keep in mind this is a savage mission. No huge heroics or fight till' the death. Do what you can, but keep in mind we have 4 people riding on this." Lillia gave her pep talk. Agreeing, they set off jogging down the open valley in a circle keeping a look out for all of Talpa's men.
