"Move" she stated coldly. Jadeite was taken aback by her
harshness. Then, he shook his head.



"I can't" he responded.



"Then I'll make you move" she
replied coldly. She brought out her
sword and charged at him. Jadeite just barely
pulled out his sword and held his own against her.



"Why are you attacking this
town?" he questioned.



"These humans have done nothing
but bring pain and grief to the gods.
I'm here to take their revenge," she growled.



"Why this town?" asked Jadeite.



"Because that woman is evil" she
spat. She created and ice dagger, and
shoved it into his side. Jadeite lost
his footing, and collapsed to the ground.

Can't Kill A Goddess

As soon as he hit the ground in
pain, Usagi rushed forth, and went into the town in search of Lady Beryl. People kept on coming at her, firing hand
made guns.



"Do you seriously think you can
kill a goddess with those?!" exclaimed Usagi as she sliced each of the weapons
with her sword. "You can't kill a goddess!"
she yelled in frustration.



"We'll se about that" spoke
Beryl from behind. Usagi turned and
glared at her. Beryl held up her sword,
signaling her challenge. Usagi rushed
forth, accepting the offered challenge.



"I swear I'll kill you, you
witch!" yelled Usagi as their swords clanged.



"You are merely a half mortal,
on that note, you are able to be killed" retorted Beryl. Beryl created a ball of black lightning and
aimed it at Usagi.



Usagi dodged, jumping in
mid-air. Beryl created a fireball and
aimed it at Usagi. Usagi turned, and
gasped as she saw it heading straight for her.
The fireball was dispelled by a water spell. Beryl and Usagi turned to see Jadeite standing, just barely.



"Why did you save her?!"
demanded Beryl, angrily.



"Because…his highness wants…her
alive" mumbled Jadeite, and he then closed his eyes, and lost consciousness.



"Akarui!" called Usagi. Her white horse appeared, and now had
Jedaite lying on his back. Usagi turned
to Beryl. "You know my demands, I know
you still have some use for him, so don't do anything stupid, or he may not
live" stated Usagi. She walked up to
Akarui, and mounted him. The two
galloped off, heading deep within Tsuki no Mori.

Selene saw her daughter come
back. A warm smile graced her lips as
she saw her. But, the small disappeared
once she saw the human.



"What is that human doing
here?" questioned Selene angrily.



"He is my hostage mother,"
responded Usagi.



"That's quite a wound you gave
him. Heal him, Beryl wouldn't want a dead
tool, now would she?"



"Usagi nodded. "But of course mother" Usagi concentrated,
and minutes later Jadeite's wounds were healed. Usagi lifted Jadeite off of Akarui, and laid him under a tree. Usagi got a good look at him. He was gorgeous, even in his current state.



Usagi turned to her mother. "Mother, are all male humans this nice
looking?"



"There are a selected few"
responded Selene.



"Oh"



Jadeite groaned, and opened his
eyelids. He blinked in surprise. He was now staring into the most amazing
sapphire eyes.



"Beautiful…" he whispered.



Usagi was taken aback by what he
said.



"What is it daughter?"
questioned Selene.



"The human is awake" replied
Usagi.



Jadeite then took in his
surroundings. "Where am I?" he asked.



"Tsuki no Mori" replied Usagi in
a clip voice.



Jadeite noticed the other figure
in front of him. It was Selene. She had silver hair that was tied up in two
buns. She looked like a spirit, but
spirits were myths.



So are gods, he mused to
himself.



Selene had on a white kimono,
and her eyes were a soulless blue.



"What business do you have with
Beryl?" demanded Usagi.



"I'm just a traveler, on behalf
of his highness. I needed a place to
rest, and that was the closest place," replied Jadeite.



"Why are you lying?" asked Usagi



"I am not lying," objected
Jadeite



"You humans have caused us
nothing but trouble" spoke Selene



"Then why am I here?" asked
Jedaite



"This has turned into a hostage
situation" replied Usagi.



Jadeite figured he was the
hostage. His plan just took a sudden U
turn. Like he had a plan in the first
place.



"I'm going to go get us some
dinner" said Usagi as she disappeared.



Jadeite watched her figure disappear.



"Don't fall in love with my
daughter" warned Selene. "We don't need
another human in our lives"



"Another?" questioned Jadeite



"Usagi is half goddess. Her father was a mortal" she answered.



"Does she know who her father
is?" asked Jadeite.



"No, he's dead"



"Who was he?"



"Endymion" answered Selene, a
sad tone to her voice.
