I am using
the Sailor Moon graphic novels as reference

and I am using the necessary episodes. I just don't think

it is good to just go through all 46 episodes of the first

season.

Akane aka Sailor Mercury



Usagi sits
into the den and laughs loudly at her manga.

Ikuko then
enters, "Usagi, shouldn't you be studying?"

"Yeah,
but you should see this?" smiled Usagi as she

showed her mother the funny scene in the manga.

Ikuko then
laughs along with Usagi, "That is funny!!

But, don't you have an upcoming test?"

"Awww,
Mom!! Manga is the only thing I have to repress

the pressure. You
don't know how tough it is in school

nowadays" sniffed Usagi

"Oh
this seems all to familiar. That is the
same

excuse I used on my parents. Now go upstairs and
study!"

ordered Ikuko

"Hai"
sighed Usagi as she went upsatirs.

Ranma
spotted her going into her room, "Whatcha' doing

odango?"

"Leave
me alone!" cried Usagi as she slammed her door

for emphasis.

At night,
Usagi was reading more manga.

"You
need to worry more about your studies and you also

need to worry about finding the princess" scowled Luna

"Oh,
come on Luna. Can you stop worrying!" whined

Usagi, slightly.

"I'm
also a little skeptical about that Ranma

character" commented Luna

Usagi made
kind of a disgusted look, "Don't worry about

him. He's such a
dork"





Later that
night, at the Crown Game Center, Luna sneaks

in and talks to the Sailor V game. The game is in fact a

secret communications device. Luna then gives her password

and a girl named Akane Tendo pops up.

"Who
is this?" asked Luna

"This
girl may be working for the negaverse" answered

Central Control.

"I'll
keep an eye out for her" answered Luna



The scores
of the test reveal that a girl named "Akane

Tendo" got top score (top score for all students in the

country, no less).

"Isn't
Akane the new student?" asked Usagi to her

friend, Naru.

"Hai. She just transferred here from Nerima. I think

she went to Furinkan Middle too" answered Naru (All the

senshi and Ranma are in their last year of middle school)

"Cool!"
sqealed Usagi in awe.



Later, as
Usagi walks home, upset at her own score,

sees Akane up ahead. Suddenly Luna jumps out of the bushes

onto Akane's shoulders. Luna senses a strange aura

surrounding the girl, but gets taken in by Akane's charm, as

Akane rubs her tenderly.

Usagi
smiles and calls Luna from behind Akane, "Come

here Luna!" Luna then hops off of Akane's shoulder and
runs

towards her owner, "Did Luna scare you? Akane,
ne?"

"Hai,
you're Usagi, ne?" answered Akane

"Hai!"
chirped Usagi

Luna
whispers to Usagi, "Usagi-chan, I think Akane

could be the enemy"

"Yeah
right" replied Usagi and she turned to Akane,

"You wanna play a video game?"



At the game
centre a short while later, Usagi is madly

bashing away at the keys of the Sailor V game but gets

killed in pretty short order, as usual.

Usagi gets
up from her seat, "You wanna give it a try

Akane?"

"Um...Sure"
answered Akane shyly as she sat down and

played. Akane
reluctantly takes a seat and in no time is at

all racks up a record score. Usagi isn't too happy about

this. As a crowd forms, Ranma appears next to Usagi.

"Hey
Odango, what's going on?" asked Ranma

"Shut
up Ranma!" shot back Usagi as she stuck out her

tongue.

Akane shot
her head up sharply. 'Ranma? That is the

name of which one of me and my sisters is suppose to be

engaged to' Akane
then lost and was number 2 on the list.

The crowd disappeared and Akane got up and turned to Ranma.

"Are
you Ranma Saotome?" asked Akane

"Um...hai"
stammered Ranma

"Your
father, Genma Saotome, said that you are suppose

to be engaged to one of my sisters, or me" said Akane

"Hey!
Wait a mintue! Ranma is engaged to me!" exclaimed

Usagi

"You
mean, you two..." started Akane

Usagi and
Ranma blushed. Usagi then spoke, "No! It was

our parents idea!"

Akane
smiled, "Same thing with me. From
what I think,

he's just an insensitive jerk and I wouldn't want to marry

him"

Usagi took
an instant liking to Akane, "Yeah, I agree

totally"

Ranma was
getting practically steamed, "Oh yeah! Well,

who would want an Odango Atama and an uncute chick for a

iinazuke anyway!"

Usagi and
Akane turned around simutaneously and they

both did an uppercut on Ranma, "Ranma no Baka!!"

Akane then
looked at her watch, "Oh no! I'm late for

cram school! Ja Usagi-chan! I might see you at your house to

straighten this whole iinazuke thing with my family!"

"Okay,
Ja Akane-chan!" called Usagi as she waved.



Motoki
comes up, "Hey Usagi, is this yours?" Motoki

hands over a red floppy disk to Usagi.

"No!
It must be my friend, Akane's! I'll give it to

her" answered Usagi

At the cram
school, Akane discovers that the disk is

missing. The teacher is telling her to use the crystal disk,

but Akane mutters to herself that she doesn't want to, as it

makes her head hurt.
So, she takes out her good old notes.



At the door
to the cram school, Usagi is reading the

advertising sign, that mentions the revolutionary
"crystal

disk" being capable of turning anyone into a genius.
Luna is

suspicious, though.

"Why
would you be so suspicious?" asked Usagi naively.

"Let's
check out that disk" suggested Luna as she leads

her ward to a computer store, which was empty.

"I
can't operate a computer!" squealed Usagi

una then
pops the disk in and starts to type and

quickly discovers that there's a brain-washing program

hidden on the disk. Luna deduces that Akane must be the

youma.



Luna and
Usagi return to the school, Luna then gives

Usagi a pen.

"Use
this and tell what you want to transform into"

instructed Luna.

"Moon
Power! Change me into a nurse!" called Usagi as

she transforms into a nurse. She storms into the room where

Akane is.

"Stay
away from the computers!!" yells Usagi

Akane says,
"You shouldn't interfere with our learning"

Usagi is
then led to believe that Akane is the enemy,

"Moon Prism Power, Make-up!" Usagi transforms,
taking Akane

off-guard.

Suddenly,
the teacher appears behind Akane and grabs

her. As the teacher shows her true colors and turns into a

youma.

Sailor Moon
turns to Luna, "I told you she wasn't the

enemy"

Luna is
confused, as she definitely sensed something.



The youma
turns to Sailor Moon, "Question 1, the genius

Newton's question. Why did the apple fall from the
tree?"

"Don't
ask me, ask the apple" replied Sailor Moon,

dumbly.



As
punishment for failing the question, the youma fires

test papers at Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon dodges madly and

gets the answer wrong until Luna helps her by giving her the

answer "the Earth's gravity" which causes the test
papers to

disappear.



This time
the youma asks, "Question 2. Explain what

gravity is in under 50 words."

Sailor Moon
says, "That's impossible"

This time
the youma sends the zombie-students after

Sailor Moon.



With Sailor
Moon busy, the youma presses Akane's head

against the monitor, asking her to give up her mental

energy. When the youma notices that Akane hadn't used the

disk, it yells at Akane.

Akane
retorts, "Studying is something done with one's

mind, not with something like a machine or a disk"

The youma
pushes Akane harder against the screen.

Suddenly a mark appears on Akane's forehead.

Upon seeing
the mark, Luna realises that Akane is

actually one of the missing senshi.



Luna
conjures up a "New Item", a pen for Akane, and

slides it towards her. Akane grabs it.

Luna
instructs Akane, "Shout: MERCURY POWER, MAKE UP!".

Akane does
and turns into Sailor Mercury. Sailor Moon,

who is cornered by the students, is very surprised when

seeing this.

Luna tells
Sailor Mercury to use the "Shabon Spray",

which she does, blinding the youma. Blind, and losing its

powers, the youma stumbles about, losing its mental grip on

the students who fall down.

Sailor Moon
finishes the youma, "Moon Tiara Action!"

Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon look at each other

incredulous.



Later,
Usagi and Akane are talking, with Luna perched

on Akane's shoulder.

Luna is
very apologetic, "I'm sorry I suspected you to

be the enemy"

"Your
forgiven" said Akane. Akane is
very enthusiastic

about fighting evil. Usagi and Akane are quickly becoming

friends, although Usagi realises that she's nowhere near as

good as Akane and is worried about losing again.

"Akane,
we have to get to my house about this whole

'iinazuke' situation" spoke Usagi

"Hai"
said Akane as they ran to Usagi's house.





"Saotome!
You promised Ranma to another girl!"

exclaimed Kenji

Genma
shrank, "It was promised almost around the same

time I did for you"

"Sheesh
Pops!! Don't I ever get to make my own

decisions!!" commented Ranma

Usagi and
Akane then walk in.

"I'm
home!" called Usagi as she and Akane walk in to

see the Tsukinos', Saotomes' and Tendos' having it out in

the den.

Akane then
let's out a shrill whistle, "Come on! Me and

Usagi are really good friends. Frankly, we don't wanna

marry Ranma!"

"Yeah!
Who would want that insensitive jerk..." agreed

Usagi

Akane
continued, "And he is so macho!"

Usagi and
Akane traded insults back and forth about

Ranma as Ranma was getting angrier and angrier.
