Prologue
In the future of Crystal Tokyo, Mamoru laid on his side,
gazing with love at a sleeping Usagi as they both laid nude on their
bed, covered in a sheet. Leaning over, he tenderly kissed her awake.
“Good morning,” he murmured, huskily.
“Good morning, Mamo-chan,” she responded, softly, smiling
up at him. Then she gazed up towards the ceiling, thoughtfully.
“Seems like…I was watching a long, long dream.”
“What kind of dream?” he asked.
“I forgot.” Usagi turned onto her stomach and saw a vision
of a huge, sparkling crystal palace. Lifting up her head, she said,
“Mamo-chan?”
“Hmm?”
Sitting up, she gently took his head in her hands and
playfully clunked their heads together. “Can you say it again?” she
pleaded, in a mock whimper.
Giving her an exasperated look, he replied, “I said it
fifty times last night.”
Giggling, she put on a cute face and raised up her pointer
finger. “Just one more!”
Sitting up straight, he smiled at her and took her in his
arms. “Last time…” he said. “Let’s get married, Usako.”
And they shared a loving kiss.
The wedding was held in a majestic cathedral. Flowers were
everywhere, organ music was played softly, and the sun gave off
beautiful rainbows of color through the stained glass windows.
At the altar, Mamoru waited with his Earth Generals of the
past Silver Millennium- Keith (Kunzite), Zander (Zoisite), Neil
(Nephrite), and Jared (Jadeite)- and the Moon Kingdom Generals-
Galen, Ashe, Logan, and Drake- at his side. They all are now
Guardians of Crystal Tokyo.
The Sailor Senshi bridesmaids, both Inner and Outer,
entered, and Mamoru watched as the Inner Senshi and his Earth
Generals cast loving glances at each other as the women took their
places. ‘My Earth Generals,’ he thought, ‘They’ve come a long way for
this day to happen. And now they’re all engaged to the Inner Senshi.’
Then the theme music to “Here Comes the Bride” began.
Smiling happily, Mamoru watched his bride Usagi enter and walk down
the aisle. ‘I wonder,’ he thought. ‘if their days of proposals were
just as wonderful as mine was with Usako.’
