A/N: I felt kinda stupid for the fact that I had reviews but didn't notice them when I uploaded Chapter 2. In response to those, I'm going to update chapter 2 a little and maybe add more detail. The only reason why I haven't been putting more detail in the stories is because this story was at first to explain everything that happens between levels and scenes in the game, but now I'll expand it a little more for those who have never seen the game before and want to know what the game is about. Now to the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters, the Sonic Team does. I'm just explaining stuff Sega forgot to put in the game.

11:56 Prison Island: Nearby Airspace

Tails had been flying for a few hours now. It was a long way here from Mystic Ruins after all. He was on a mission now to save Sonic. He had been making new adjustments to the Tornado 2 to allow it to fight and help Sonic and others in a more direct way besides being a transport for them. He had been modifying a third mode but was half way done when he had heard a news report that had said Sonic had been arrested for crimes that they would have never thought he would do. He had loaded up his Tornado 2 immediately and had blasted off with out a second thought.

He now looked down to see how close he was to Prison Island. He had been taking a western route so he knew fist he should see an airforce ship near an island.

"There's no mistake about it, this be Prison Island," Tails said, "It's a secret military base that is reinforced and super strong. I heard the news about it on satellite TV."

"I still can't believe that Sonic would destroy the military buildings, or rob the bank," Tails said while making the final adjustments for the fight ahead. The passageway he was taking to get to Sonic had special locks that couldn't be opened unless he destroyed robots that were positioned around the door or maybe even behind it. He was now ready for his attack. "Wait for me Sonic!"

Tails looked down again, he was preparing a landing when then he saw something that surprised him. "Hey look it's Amy," Tails saw Amy with her hands, afraid of something behind her, "And Eggman too!" he then said as he saw Eggman having Amy at gunpoint in a new walker. "What's Amy doing here?"

Tails knew he would have to forget making this landing; if he was to help Amy he would have to try a new type of landing, but was somewhat mad because he didn't get to test it yet. "It doesn't matter, I have to help Amy because she's in danger."

Tails flipped a few switches and opened a panel, "Tornado, Transformation!" He pressed the button down and suddenly a rumbling started. The wings suddenly retracted into the ship. The plane front engine turbine rotated to the bottom of the ship. With it gone, it reveals a gun cannon. The plane's tail opened up revealing a missile cannon. The two other parts of the tail that opened to reveal the cannon swung down and connected to the turbine. The turbine allowed the legs or the cockpit to rotate. The turbine connected itself to the bottom of the plane. All together, Tail's newest machine was revealed, The Cyclone. It was a walker he was able to design and create without changing the Tornado 2 that much, and allowing him to change modes anytime he wanted.

Tails immediately flipped a switch to keep the Cyclone from crashing because of its height. The turbine started to spin and shot out the plane's would be propulsion that was diverted down. This allowed for a slower decent.

`Yes it works,' Tails said mentally. Suddenly the screen of the Cyclone lit up with the word error, `Huh, what's going on?' Immediately the jet propulsion cut off. "I knew I should have tested it first!" Tails said as he began to fall.

Amy was pretty scared that she would get her head blasted off by Eggman. It seemed to her that the end was near. Suddenly there was a loud crashing sound behind her. She whirled around and saw Tails in some kind of walker, just like Eggman. He was the only thing standing between her and a missing head from Eggman. "Eggman, you won't get away with this," Tails said

"Ha ha ha," Eggman laughed, "You're just a kid, you couldn't beat me in a hundred years! You stupid little fox."

Tails seemed to get angry. "Volcan Cannon fire!" he shouted

A small laser shot came out of a front gun on Tails' walker. The shot hit Eggman and caused the walker to suddenly start smoking. "Ouch, now you've made me mad!" Eggman roared.

The two walkers started to pan out on the ship they were on. The circled each other until suddenly Tails made the first move by locking on to Eggman and shooting a homing missile at him. Eggman quickly sent his walker to speed up and then dodge around the missile and shoot Tails with his own gun hit Tails

"Damn!" Tails shouted and shot another homing missile. Eggman started to do his trick again, but Tails fired a Volcan Cannon shot at him and it hit Eggman. Then the forgotten homing missile hit Eggman also.

"Tough, I let my guard down," Eggman said as his walker seemed to power down. Suddenly he powered his walker back up and aimed at Tails, before Tails could move to retaliate. Tails was frozen, afraid to move if he would get shot at. Eggman seemed to be thinking something over, like if he had to get somewhere.

"This time I'll let you go, but the next time we meet, you won't be so lucky," Eggman said and started to leave towards the forest part of the island.

"Wow Tails you did it," Amy said running up to Tails, "But what are you doing on this island?"

"I'm the one that should be asking that question," Tails said back, "Don't you know that it's dangerous here?"

"I know, but I'm here to save my hero, Sonic."

"Again!"

"Hurry! I know Eggman is up to no good again."

"OK, you stay here and I'll be right back," Tails walked off towards an elevator that would take him to the basement of the ship. Based on the map he had hacked from the base on the Tornado 2's mini computer, the top security prisons would be in the basement and most probably Sonic would be held there. He found the elevator and went in before Amy could go after him. He didn't want her to get hurt. He exited the elevator and powered up the Cyclone into battle mode once again.

Stage 03: Prison Lane

Mission: Get to the core of the prison

Tails locked on to the 3 enemies in front of him and shot homing missiles at each of them. The door behind them then opened. Tails started to walk through cautiously and picked up some rings, which were used for the Cyclone's system that allowed it to heal itself with the energy from rings.

`The locking system for these doors is quite unique,' Tails said to himself, `the doors only open if all the robots that have the signal for the door stop sending a signal. Usually the robot does this manually after confirming who is trying to enter the door, but since they relied so much on secrecy of the island, they didn't realize the signal could also be stopped from being sent to the doors by the robots being destroyed.'

Tails continued down the hallway, suddenly shooting another missile at a Gun Wing beetle that tried to ram him. He continued down and shot a missile at a Gun Hunter before it could fully power up to attack. The door opened and Tails continued.

Tails then saw a panel with the danger colors around it. (Yellow and black stripes) He stepped on the panel and the panel instantly moved up revealing to be an elevator. On this new level, he saw another elevator. He got on it and went to a higher level, and saw 2 Gun Hunters facing him with guns pointed. They both started to fire, but the prison bars blocked the shots. Tails shot the two of them opening the door that led to where the two `bots were. Suddenly he saw a gunshot come at him out of the corner of his eye. He dodged it by moving forward and immediately shot the Gun Wing that was now trying to escape.

`That was close' Tails thought as he walked through the door he opened and grabbed some rings. He saw a Mono and a Gun beetle to his left and blew them up. This opened another door that he went through.

Turning a corner and nearly falling off the ledge he was on, Tails shot some more robots to get them out of the way. He made the Cyclone jump up to another ledge and then walked on to another elevator. At the top he shot another Gun Hunter and dodged the Gun Wing that tried to shoot him afterwards. He picked up a ring container. The Cyclone now was nearly at full power. He saw some wooden crates block the next hallway, but Tails used his Volcan Cannon to blow them up. He walked down the newly opened hallway to an elevator. At the top he saw a Hornet for the first time.

It was a Hornet-6, the 6 standing for 6 homing missiles that that they shoot at you if you don't destroy them first. Tails quickly locked on to the middle robot, but then locked on to the missiles it was preparing to fire for fun. As the missiles shot at him, he quickly shot the homing missiles and destroyed the robot with its missiles.

Tails resumed down the hallway picking up rings but then saw a Gun Hawk try to ram him. He quickly shot the Hawk down. He continued further and suddenly was rammed by another Gun Hawk. Tails was pushed to the side and the Cyclone started to smoke and dropped all it's rings. He shot down the Gun Hawk in revenge and tried to get some rings back but only got back 5 as the rest had either disappeared or had fallen through the bars. He continued on more cautiously knowing that a few more hits and the Cyclone might power down.

He entered a room at the end of the hallway. He shot a powered down Gun Hunter he saw at the other side of a door. It opened and Tails walked through collecting rings. Down another hallway and Tails went into this room with a big barricade. This barricade had wide bars, though. Two Hunter Guns started to shoot at Tails and the shots went through the bars of the barricade. Tails dodged the shots by sliding to the side and shot the two `bots. Then a Gun Wing cam and started to shoot at Tails but Tails dodged again and watched as the robot went down the hallway he came through.

Tails walked onto an elevator at the end of the room and entered the next passageway. At the end of it, he jumped down into the next room and easily blew up 4 Mono Beetles in the room. A door opened and he shot a Mono and Gun Beetle that were in the hallway. He saw a furnace and, knowing how to get them out of the way, shot the connectors that transfer air through the furnace, causing it to blow up from air pressure.

He entered the next room and saw a huge platform in the center of it. He walked onto the platform and once he got onto the center of it, fences came up around it and the platform started to move upwards, showing that it was a huge elevator.

Mono Beetles were all around the elevator as it went up, and Tails shot them down for fun. After going up for 15 seconds, it got boring until he finally got to the top. He shot down every Mono Beetle in sight to open a door.

Tails shot down a Hunter Gun and continued down a hallway. There was steam everywhere and it was hard to see as Tails continued down. He shot some wooden crates that he bumped into only to bump into a prison door. He could barely see a robot on the other side of the door and he locked onto it and shot it instead of manually aiming. He saw some Mono Beetles ahead, which turned around when he got near. Tails saw one was a Gun Beetle and blew it up with the Volcan Cannon quickly. He locked on and finished the others with homing missiles, and opened a door that he didn't even see until now. He walked through the door and into another one, which then a Gun Hunter fell down right behind the door. Tails used his Volcan Cannon to finish him and got out of the steamy hallway.

Tails saw a new hallway with wooden crates, and he stated shooting them as he walked towards the hallway. Suddenly a Gun Wing turned a corner and ran straight at him. Tails dodged to the left side of the hallway, but the Gun Wing then fired a shot at him. Tails immediately used his air brakes (air is shot out of panels so he can quickly change direction) and slid backwards while at the same time locking on a missile at the Gun Wing and shooting it down.

Tails was about to curse about what happened, but then remembered that he had to hurry save Sonic as he had already spent an hour on this island and at anytime could be caught and killed.

Tails continued down hurriedly and turned a corner. He reached an elevator, went up a level, then got on another nearby elevator and went up there. He was immediately faced with another Hornet-6. He shot down the Hornet and all it's bombs, but then got a warning screen saying he was almost out of missiles.

"I have to make sure I don't run out of missiles or I won't make it to Sonic." Tails saw 2 Hunters in the distance and realized that he had to shoot them to open the next door. He shot them, went through the next door and quickly ran down the next hallway.

He jumped up some boxes and 2 more Gun Wings started a formation and shot at him. Tails ran up an elevator to dodge them and shot down another Gun Hunter with his Volcan Cannon. He saw some more enemies he could have shot for fun, but he was short on missiles. He then was thrown forward as the Cyclone was hit again. Tails turned around and saw a Gun Wing making its escape. Tails angrily shot out 2 homing missiles at the next 2 powered down Gun Hunters he saw, which opened a door. He walked through and immediately Volcan cannoned the next Gun Hunter that was down a hallway. He blew up a Mono Beetle with a missile and went through the next door.

Tails' Cyclone ran down the hallway and jumped up some steps. He suddenly dodged to the side based on fox instincts and Volcan Cannoned a Gun Hunter that tried to land on him.

Tails knew that he must be getting close to Sonic if there was this much security all of a sudden. He shot the next powered down hunter in front of him. He opened the next because of this and continued on. He went into another room with a barricade, but this time shot the next three robots he saw with missiles immediately to drop the barricade. He went forward and then immediately turned and Volcan Cannoned some Gun Hunter that were trying to drop down and shoot him.

Tails checked his missile count and saw he had only 4 missiles left, and a couple more rounds of Volcan Cannon shots. He went up the next lift and used 3 of his missiles to blow up 3 powered down Gun Hunters ahead. The funny thing was that he door didn't open.

"Damn it!" Tails looked around the room and saw a lone Mono Beetle watching him. Tails immediately locked on and blew it up with a missile and opened the door, when he then realized that he was now out of missiles.

Tails was furious. He continued forward and took out a hacker console. He had the console set to hack into frequencies and used it to open the next door without losing speed and went head long into the next room.

Tails put away his hacking console and saw that 6 Gun Hunters and another Hornet-6 now surrounded him. All the Gun Hunters in the room shot at him at the same time while Tails slammed on the air brakes and maneuvered around all the shots. The Cyclone's computer was warning him that he was being locked on by a mass group of enemies, which told Tails to KEEP ON MOVING. Tails shot wildly and destroyed all of them but two, and then the computer told him that his Volcan Cannon was out of shots.

"Sh-" Tails started to say when he moved out of the way just in time to avoid getting hit and caused the two robots to hit each other.

"Whew, that was close." Tails looked up and saw theHornet-6 still there, locking on to him. Tails was frozen in place and realized that all those missiles combined could blow up the Cyclone and him with it. Tails suddenly saw an explosion. Tails took another look and saw Amy in the Hornet's place with her Piko Piko Hammer in her hands.

"Hey Tails, what's up?" She said to the mouth gaping Tails in front of her.

"Amy! How did you get here?"

"Well, after you had jammed the elevator I snuck in after some soldiers and stole one of their master keycards. I followed some signs that said prison this way and I just came through that door right there," She pointed to a panel of a seemingly solid wall that was now opened to a passageway twice as big as the Cyclone, "After taking a wrong turn but was able to see you in that huge battle right there."

"Uh…" Tails smacked his head in not realizing there was a second safer way he could have gone through. "Let's just go save Sonic"

"Sure, I'll lead the way!" Amy started to run back down the hallway and took a turn.

Tails started the Cyclone towards the door grumbling over his stupidity and had to stop himself from saying `Wait up for me Amy!'

A/N: Too bad Tails, well I guess Amy couldn't have done it without you anyway if she was headless, but I still wish you were just a second too late to save Amy because it would be cool to have a headless Amy since we wouldn't have to hear her annoying voice. Oh well, on to other things. For all those who are mad at the lack of details, all I can say is that it's because of:

This is my first Fanfic

A Sonic game already has many things in levels that are hard to describe unless I bore you to death

This Fanfic was only to explain things that happened in the game as a story, but I was hoping you guys had at least seen some of the levels

Now the first couple levels are pretty boring at first but get more exciting. I promise they will too. Now I'm starting to now add the different missions that were said during the games so check the other two chapters to see. The different enemy names were put in thanks to the Versus Books strategy guide of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and Sonic Advance. I may put up another fic explaining how the enemies look like and how they fight later though. I warn you now that the next chapter will be kinda short but will be made up for in the level afterward. And next level somebody gets a power-up to keep for the adventure.
