Chapter 15: kiryuu Zero is picky
Takuma closed his ey es and stretched his neck trying to give more access to the vampire sucking his& nbsp;
blood.
'Aah, what a long nig ht...' He thought. He knew that his memo ries were being shared at the moment
but he didn't care, he didn't mind th is certain vampire knowing his deepest secret s; he trusted him
enough. He was t he last one, this will be over soon ;and everything will go back to normal, whatever
normal is.
He looked aro und, it felt good to change the scenery; they were now in the room that the two cousins
shared. They were sitting& nbsp;on one of the two beds, Takumaâ&eu ro;™s arms stretched behind him supporting&n bsp;
himself. The other vampire had one arm&n bsp;snaked up his upper back and through ;his blonde hair, his
other hand, which was supporting his own weight, was clen ched in the sheets by Takuma’s& nbsp;hip. It was
good to get away from all that blood and bad smell, hopefully& nbsp;by now Aidou and Kain would have taken care of the mess –&nb sp;that is if they still have energy to& nbsp;do so.
He sighed, the situation&n bsp;got out of hand really fast, and how was he supposed to anticipate that any& nbsp;of
this would happen? He had to&nb sp;make quick decisions without consulting the&nbs p;pureblood; he only hoped
that Kuran K aname would be okay with all of this.&nb sp;
"Ugh, be gentler please!" Takuma winced&n bsp;in pain.
"Oh! Sorry!" light blue&n bsp;eyes looked up at him with guilt. &n bsp;
"It’s Okay" He smiled&nbs p;and nodded reassuringly.
Shiki Senri ;went back to the two little puncture wo unds on his friend's pale neck.

Ichigo Takuma clo sed his eyes; he could sense Kanameâ€&t rade;s presence. He was on his way back& nbsp;from the

“Yes Takuma? Any news&n bsp;on the hunter?†The pureblood said without looking at the noble as he ;kept
on walking silently towards the m oon dorm.
Takuma caught up to Kan ame with his head laying low. “ K..Kaname-sama…†He started but then was
silent again.
They&n bsp;kept walking soundlessly, the pureblood waitin g patiently for his friend to state what is on his
mind. Soon enough the&n bsp;blonde inhaled deeply before frowning in determination as he exhaled sharply.
â €œKaname-sama! Kiryuu-kun is not exactly&nbs p;doing well…there…was an accident and I think you already
smelled Shiki’s blood. Butâ€&b rvbar;The thing is…you seeâ€& brvbar;I…no. WE think that treatmen t won’t be enough to
save Kiryuu-kun!!†Takuma finally said. &n bsp;
Kaname just kept quiet, not f azed, he was still walking. Takuma looked&nbs p;at him, and when he didn’t&nb sp;get
any reply he kept going
“So, we were thinking†;
“I know what you were th inking Takuma†The pureblood cut the&n bsp;noble before he could finish.
Takuma&nbs p;looked up; he wasn’t surprised;&nb sp;of course Kaname-sama would know what they ;were
thinking. Takuma just looked at h im carefully, with anticipation.

need a lot more b lood than I can give him without getting myself weak. And as you know, with ;all the
beloved enemies that I have,&n bsp;I cannot afford being weak.†;Kaname said, he looked at Takuma with a
stern look. “I’ m counting on you Takuma, I have to ;deal with Ruka and other matters first, ;then I will
come over and finish what the rest of you will have started&a circ;€
The pureblood made to spri nt in speed but the blonde’s&nb sp;shout stopped him.

“He and&nbs p;Toga-sensei agreed to keep it a secret ;from the hunter’s associationâ&eur o;
Takuma nodded.

light red liquid. An empty blood tablet container placed on the coffee table in front of him.&nbs p;The noble’s
eyes moved to&nb sp;the bed; the hunter was lying on his& nbsp;back, beads of sweat decorating his fore head, he
didn’t seem to b e awake but his eyebrows were knitted to gether in pain. Takuma noticed that the cold
water bowl and cloths were missing , and soon enough he looked up to s ee Hanabusa Aidou rushing
out of the&nb sp;bathroom with bowl in his hands. He s ets it on the table beside the bed, ;squeezes a cloth
and starts dabbing ge ntly at the hunter’s forehead. He keeps at it for a while before h e finally notices
Takuma’s pre sence.
“So? What did Kana ma-sama say?†Aidou asks immediately.
The other two vampires look up at Takuma as well; seeing him and waiting& nbsp;for his answer.
Takuma just nods with a reassuring expression on hi s face.
Aidou sighed in relief &a circ;€œAaah, that’s really goo d news. Kiryuu-kun got a little better a fter drinking Shiki-
kun’s blood&nbs p;but it’s not enough.†Aidou’s gaze shifted towards the&nbs p;hunter. â€His shoulder is staring to& nbsp;
get much better but the other inju ry is way too serious…He needs a lot of blood, if not then...â&e uro; Aidou
trailed not pleased.
& acirc;€œAlright then who would like to& nbsp;go first?†Takuma said cheerfully ;trying to lighten up the mood.
< hr> “I will.†Kain smirked&nb sp;raising his hand and approving the mood&nb sp;change; they were not going to let th e
vampire hunter die, even though they& nbsp;all have not admit it yet, Kiryuu Z ero has definitely grown on
them during his stay in the moon dorm. They al l consider him almost a friend now, exce pt Ruka of
course. The noble sighed&nbs p;‘Ah Ruka…’ He thought to himself, he was quite&nbs p;worried about his friend but
decided that he was needed here more and that&nb sp;Rima would take good care of Ruka. &n bsp;
Kain stepped forward and made his w ay to the bed “Shouldnâ€& trade;t we try waking him up?†He asked no
one in particular.
“Yeah let me try waking him&nb sp;up†Aidou nodded in agreement, he&n bsp;leaned on the bed placing his hand < br> on the hunter’s unharmed should er and gently shook it.
â€& oelig;Kiryuu-kun?...Kiryuu-kun can you hear me?â& euro; when he didn’t get the&nb sp;slightest reply from the passed
out hunter he tried tapping on his hot cheek gently “ Kiryuu-kun?†& nbsp;
“Unnngh†The hunter&nbs p;finally groaned and shifted slightly, but h e let out a pained sigh before going&nbs p;still
again. He doesn’t seem conscious of his surroundings.
â ;€œKiryuu-ku...†Aidou makes a m ove to pat the hunter again but is stopped by his cousin.
“ I think I have an idea†He s ays before gently pushing Aidou out of t he way. Now that he is standing
ab ove the hunter, he brings his right wris t to his awaiting fangs, bites deeply in to his olive skin and
the noble bl ood starts flowing freely. The tall vampire&n bsp;lowered his arm, placing his hand close t o the
pale hunter; he twisted his b leeding wrist so that his blood was now& nbsp;running down generously.
The moment&nb sp;a crimson drop hit the level-Eâ€&tra de;s face, bright red eyes shut open, an d the next actions
happened fast. The&n bsp;hunter was instantly half way up, hand&nb sp;seizing the bleeding wrist roughly, he the n
pulled the noble vampire towards him& nbsp;in a rushed move, grabbing the orange&nb sp;locks strongly. The
level-E yanked Kain&a circ;€™s head to the side and he b it down on the tanned neck viciously. &n bsp;
It was too fast for anyone&nb sp;to actually react, but even as the si lver head dug into his meal, none of the
vampires made a move. Zero was sl ightly stronger now; it wasn’t as timid and weak like when he
dra nk from Shiki. This time it was more&nbs p;desperate and daring.
Aidou leaned down&nb sp;to pick up the white piece of cloth&n bsp;that fell to the floor; he placed it in the bowl,
and glanced at his&n bsp;cousin.
Kain was now sitting, one le g propped up on the bed, and his le ft hand lay lazily on the bed. His other
hand was ghostly placed on the&nb sp;hunter’s side, just in case he needed to take any actions towards th e
level-E.
Aidou sighed loo king up at Takuma he said â€&oelig ;Kiryuu-Kun doesn’t seem conscious o f what he’s doing;
we mig ht have to stop him b…â& euro;
But Aidou was cut mid -sentence as Kiryuu Zero suddenly pulled out his fangs from the noble vampire
and&nb sp;pushed him away roughly.
Kain hissed in pain but recovered quickly nevertheless&n bsp;“Kiryuu-kun!!†He looked at the hunter in
shock. Takuma an d Shiki were by the bed side in a&n bsp;heartbeat.
Zero turned his head the othe r way and was thrashing in his place&nbs p;like he was trying to escape
somethin g; soon enough they realized that thing was the blood.
Before Kain could get up, Zero pushed him aside and fell&n bsp;to the floor on his knees; his arms& nbsp;barely
supporting his weight. The tall& nbsp;vampire stayed seated on the bed while&n bsp;the other three knelt down
beside t he shaking hunter.
â€&oelig ;Kiryuu-kun!!†Takuma exclaimed placing a&n bsp;hand on the hunter’s left s houlder.
Shiki was on the hunterâ ;€™s right side, eyebrows in a fro wn and just as confused as the rest ;of his
friends.
â&eu ro;œWhat’s wrong with him!?â& euro; Aidou cried frantically, he was very&nb sp;confused, he thought giving the hunter
blood will definitely make him better; &ac irc;€˜what is going on!?’ ;
The answer came soon enough though,&n bsp;as the hunter started heaving and retchin g; he was throwing
up the blood. < br> “He…he canâ€&tra de;t keep it down…†Tak uma finally said with a soft expression on his face, his hand moving
from Zero’s shoulder to soothingly rub&nb sp;his back.
Zero didn’t ;know where he was, he was probably some where on the boarders of hell because this&nb sp;pain
was not ordinary. He coughed rou ghly, his throat felt very hot and cold& nbsp;at the same time, he
swallowed thi ckly before realizing it was a mistake; his stomach danced again and he was in&n bsp;misery as
more blood went up though his tortured throat and out his dry&nbs p;mouth. He tried opening his eyes just a
little bit, and they fell on the blood that he was just enjoying a few minutes ago. The hunter could
hear& nbsp;his name being called by different voice s, he couldn’t tell who or ;how many were they, but he
knew t hat they were familiar voices and that m ade him feel less anxious. Zeroâ€&trade ;s stomach was empty
now but the p ain was only increasing; all this retching&nb sp;and coughing was affecting his injured sid e. His
breathing was labored, eyes tear ing up, cold sweat covering his body, an d he was shaking vigorously.
A sharp&nb sp;pain shot through his side and his ha nd instinctively went to put pressure on ;it, this however
caused more pain and& nbsp;a violent shiver went down his spine.&nb sp;Zero couldn’t take it anymore,&nb sp;he felt very
weak, and the one arm that was holding him up buckled unde r him before it gave away. He was < br> slowly heading towards his own blood vom it before he was stopped by a pair of strong familiar arms.
After hearing his name called one more time, Kiryuu Ze ro gave in to the darkness.
&acir c;€œKiryuu-kun!!†Takuma and Shiki&nb sp;shouted together as they held the falling& nbsp;hunter.
They both picked him up&n bsp;gently and placed him back on the be d.
“This won’t& nbsp;do†Aidou said.

can digest. It’s not& nbsp;absolute pureblood but it will still hel p take the load off of Kaname’s neck.
The maroon head shifted slightl y, Shiki swallowed for the last time and licked the two wounds his
fangs l eft on his roommate’s neck. He& nbsp;straightened up and looked at the blonde noble “Done!†he
exclaimed. “Now let’s feed that picky vampire.â€

The answer came soon enough though,&n bsp;as the hunter started heaving and retchin g; he was throwing

from Zero’s shoulder to soothingly rub&nb sp;his back.
Zero didn’t ;know where he was, he was probably some where on the boarders of hell because this&nb sp;pain
was not ordinary. He coughed rou ghly, his throat felt very hot and cold& nbsp;at the same time, he
swallowed thi ckly before realizing it was a mistake; his stomach danced again and he was in&n bsp;misery as
more blood went up though his tortured throat and out his dry&nbs p;mouth. He tried opening his eyes just a
little bit, and they fell on the blood that he was just enjoying a few minutes ago. The hunter could
hear& nbsp;his name being called by different voice s, he couldn’t tell who or ;how many were they, but he
knew t hat they were familiar voices and that m ade him feel less anxious. Zeroâ€&trade ;s stomach was empty
now but the p ain was only increasing; all this retching&nb sp;and coughing was affecting his injured sid e. His
breathing was labored, eyes tear ing up, cold sweat covering his body, an d he was shaking vigorously.
A sharp&nb sp;pain shot through his side and his ha nd instinctively went to put pressure on ;it, this however
caused more pain and& nbsp;a violent shiver went down his spine.&nb sp;Zero couldn’t take it anymore,&nb sp;he felt very
weak, and the one arm that was holding him up buckled unde r him before it gave away. He was < br> slowly heading towards his own blood vom it before he was stopped by a pair of strong familiar arms.
After hearing his name called one more time, Kiryuu Ze ro gave in to the darkness.

â€&oelig ;Oh right! Kiryuu-kun didn’t immedia tely refuse Shiki-kun’s blood like h e did to you!†Aiou exclaimed
pointing at Kain excitingly.

Takum a Ichijo sighed and closed his eyes rela xing into his friend’s grip. It ’s been about half an hour ;
since they started giving Shiki their blood ; Aidou went first, then kain and now&nb sp;Takuma. Takuma really
hoped this would&nb sp;work; it was their last hope of helpi ng Kaname and Zero at the same time.&nbs p;He
shouldn’t be worried;&nbs p;he thought to himself, it makes absolute&nb sp;sense! Their noble blood is taken by
Shiki who is a half pureblood; Shiki&ac irc;€™s body will turn their blood ;to something that the hunter’s ;stomach
can digest. It’s not& nbsp;absolute pureblood but it will still hel p take the load off of Kaname’s neck.
The maroon head shifted slightl y, Shiki swallowed for the last time and licked the two wounds his
fangs l eft on his roommate’s neck. He& nbsp;straightened up and looked at the blonde noble “Done!†he
exclaimed. “Now let’s feed that picky vampire.â€
