Chapter Eleven

"Enemies No More"

Sapphire: P-P-P-Princess? Is that you?
The girl nodded.

Yugi: H-H-H-How?

Princess: You and dad weren't the only ones who escaped the space colony's destruction.

Sapphire: But how?
Princess: Umm…. That's not important.

She walked towards Yugi and put her hands in his face. He blushed.

Princess: …Yami?

Their eyes gazed at each other. Sakura and Daisy watched with great curiosity.

Yugi: Hold on.

Moments later, Yugi transformed into Yami.

Yami: Princess? You're alive.

Princess smiled and moved closer to him until their lips met. Tears fell from Yami's eyes.

Sakura: Huh? What's going on?
Sapphire: Ok. Break it up!

He pulled Princess from Yami's grasp.

Sapphire: I want answers… now!

Princess pulled away.

Princess: Do you really want to know?
Sapphire: Yes.

Princess: Okay.

She took out a wand. Yami gasped.

Yami: Y-You got the second spirit?

Princess nodded.

Princess: That's right. I have the Yellow Spirit.

Sapphire: W-why?

Princess: To destroy you.

Sapphire's eyes widened.

Sapphire: What? Me?
Princess: Yeah. I can't believe you brought back dad after everything he's done to us!

Sapphire: Like what?

Princess: Umm, for starters, because of him we had to live alone!

Sapphire: But we're immortal, remember?

Princess: That's bullshit! We're not immortal!! Why did mom and our brother and sister die?

Sapphire was in shock.

Princess: Who the hell gave you the idea that we were immortal?

Sapphire: H-he lied to me?

Princess: That's all he's been doing to us you moron!

Sapphire: I-I can't believe- I believed him. B-but…

Princess: There's more. But I'm not going to waste my time with you anymore.

She looked at Yami.

Princess: I need to talk to you Yami.

Yami: Before we do, I need that spirit.

Princess: What?

Yami: Sakura and I are capturing them also. It'll really help us out.

Princess stared at Sakura and frowned.

Princess: Wait. You two are searching for the spirits?

Sakura nodded.

Princess frowned.

Princess: Yami. Why?

Yami: Huh?

Princess: After all we've been through, you're with her!!

Yami: No. No, that's Yugi's girlfriend.
Sakura: Shut up Yami!

Princess: You know what? I don't care.

She started backing away.

Yami: Princess… please listen.

Princess: It's on. You and my brother versus me.

Sapphire and Yami: WHAT?!

A purple vortex formed behind her.

Princess: You heard me. Sapphire has been the enemy too long.

She stepped towards the vortex.

Princess: I think I'm forgetting some things.

She pointed Millennia's body. Her body flew towards the vortex. Sakura gasped.
Princess: I'll need that as well.

She pointed to Daisy.

Daisy: AH! No!! Sakura, stop her!!

Daisy started flying towards the vortex.

Sakura: STOP!!

She took out a card.

Sakura: WIND!!

A gust of wind pushed Princess to the air. Daisy's body returned to the ground. She ran towards Yami.

Daisy: Yami! Teleport us back to Japan!
Yami: What?
Princess started diving towards them with red in her eyes.

Daisy: I'll explain later, just do it!

Syaoran held her hand. He turned to Sakura and offered his hand.

Syaoran: Come on.

Sakura stared at him and gave him her hand.

Sapphire: I'm coming too!

He grabbed Daisy's other hand.

Yami: All right. Back to Japan!!

The five of them vanished in seconds. Princess frowned.

Princess: I'll get my revenge on you both… Yami and Sapphire.

Later that Night…

Sakura and everyone else (including Sapphire) were at Tomoyo's house. They were awaiting the beginning of the New Year.

Tomoyo: Oh my g(aw)d! You went to Hong Kong and didn't bring me along!

Sakura: I'm sorry. You weren't there!

Tomoyo groaned.

As Sakura was telling Joey and Tea what happened, Tomoyo went out into the balcony. Also standing out there was Sapphire.

Tomoyo: H-hi.
Sapphire didn't reply.

Tomoyo: Hello?
Sapphire: What do you want?

Tomoyo: You know what? Fine!

She headed back inside.
Sapphire: Wait.
Tomoyo stopped and turned to him again.

Tomoyo: Huh?
Sapphire: I-I'm sorry.

Tomoyo went right next to him.

Tomoyo: What's wrong?

Sapphire: I have nobody anymore.

Tomoyo: Huh?
Sapphire: I have neither family nor friends.

Tomoyo: It's never too late.

Sapphire: What does that mean?

Tomoyo: I'll be your friend.

Sapphire: After all I've done to you?

Tomoyo: I don't remember that part, but I'll still be your friend.

Sapphire: Ok…

Tomoyo: Come on in.

She took his hand. He blushed as she led him to Yugi.

Tomoyo: Yugi, talk to him.

Yugi looked at Sapphire.

Sapphire and Yugi walked out the door.

Yugi: You were angry because you were all alone. Right now, Princess is feeling the same way. If we don't stop her, who knows what she'll do.

Sapphire: Right now, you have one spirit and she has one.

Yugi smiled.

Yugi: Then the next one is yours.

Sapphire smiled.

Yugi: I'm going in. Are you coming?

Sapphire: In a sec.

Yugi went inside.

Sapphire grinned.

Sapphire: (thinking) Ha! What a fool! By tricking him, he'll have no problem letting me capture the spirits.

Up in the balcony, Tomoyo gazed at him.

Tomoyo: (thinking) What a hunk! Since he's on our side, maybe he and I can…

Sapphire turned around and looked up. Tomoyo started blushing.

Sapphire: (thinking) What is she looking at?

He examined her. He looked at her hair, eyes, and ears. He blushed.

Sapphire: (thinking) What's going on? Why am I blushing?

Tomoyo smiled and returned inside.

Sapphire: (thinking) There's something about her that makes me feel so weird…

He looked up at the stars and sighed…
