Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Eve Of Storms ❯ The Response ( Chapter 3 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]
Hiei stared at Kurama in strtled confusion, unsure of what to say, his body all of a sudden felt limp, his mind racing. Kurama loved him??? How? Why? Although he to had been feeling something closer to Kurama then friendship, he would never admit it. Why should he? Although now that Kurama had already stated his feelings, it was becoming harder for the fire demon to hold back the words which he had been so reluctant to say for so long. Kurama looked so hurt, so worried, wondering what Hiei would say, would do....Accept? Reject? That was what he feared right? Rejection, yet Hiei couldn't find the will to reject the fox as much as h wished he could, so he just settled for what he could do. Approaching the fox, he raised a hand, the kitsune replying by tensing up expecting a stinging blow only to find the shorter demon's hand came to rest on his arm.
"Kurama..." Hiei closed his eyes and Kurama bent down to meet Hiei's oncoming kiss, their lips touching in a soft, passionate brush. The two demons soon became oblivious to everything around them, thier kiss becoming deeper and more heated, Hiei sliding his tongue to explore Kurama's mouth and the fox sighed, intertwining his tongue around Hiei's. They stood there for long moments, the only thing breaking the silence was the rain pouring down outside, the thunder's rumble and the crack of the lightning. As they broke, Hiei looked into Kurama's face, his eyes running over the fox's smooth features. The fire demon licked his lips and gave Kurama one more deep kiss before going over to the bed, the fox soon joining him.
Late that evening, as the sun set and the sky wore the moon as it's pendant, Hiei awoke to lay there and gaze at his lover athed in the moon's silky celestial light. He smiled. Although it would be a while before they were completely comfortable with each other, they were happy with the way they were now. Hiei gaveone last yawn before snuggling close to his fox and sliding his crimson eyes shut, falling into a deep, peaceful sleep laying securely in the slender arms of his fox as the rian continued it's rhythmic falling.
