Chapter 1

 

 

I watch as my love sits down in his usual spot to eat lunch, his long red hair swaying in the light autumn breeze. I watch as he sits down against the tree that I am sitting in, then I see him look up.

 

“Won't you come down? I have enough for two,” I hear him say as he looks up at me with those beautiful green eyes.

 

I stare down at him, giving him a look that says, “I'd rather not”. His expression changes so his eyes tell me that it upsets him.

 

“Please? I just want to talk to you,” he presses on, almost begging.

 

“Maybe I don't want to talk to you,” I reply truthfully, for I did not want to talk, I wanted more. I want to make him my own, mine and no one else's.

 

“Hiei-kun, please don't be like that. Come down,” he says.

 

“Kurama, weather you like it or not I'm staying up here,” I say. I can tell I'm being mean, but it's just my way.

 

Then the bell rings, saying that lunch is over and all students must go to class. I see Kurama give me a wave, and say something I don't manage to hear as he runs to get to his locker, his hair swaying as he runs.
