OK, the review below was originally intended to be posted on ff dot net but I was reminded again why I hate reading anything on that site, because despite multiple attempts to post this review, it never showed up (as a corrollary, if you see a few nearly identical reviews by me posted to this story on ff dot net this is the explanation and accompanying apology for that :) Anyhow I love this story so much that I felt compelled to find you again on mediaminer (not always as simple as it sounds as their search function is somewhat incompatible with my computer setup) just so I could leave a bit of feedback. Also it's probably self-evident, but the first part of this review is responding specifically to a review by a different reader, which was left on ff dot net. Commence review: I was going to review this story anyhow because I think you are doing a terrific job, but then I happened to look at your prior reviews (on ff dot net) and was so frustrated by the most recent review that I had to say something to counter that review. Someone reviewed stating they felt this story is essentially the same as "Silver Shine's Duty Before Honor with some parts taken out." That statement is so blatantly wrong that I hope you just ignored it and took no offense. However, in the event that you did feel offended, please know that myself and I imagine most of your readers are fully aware of how delicious Sacrificial Beauty is all by itself and that it in no way should be equated to that or any other story out there. There are similar story elements, true (on a most basic level, an infiltration mission involving Sakura having sex with Kakashi) but from there the stories diverge. I think that you have done an amazing job making the interactions and dialogue between the characters in Sacrificial Beauty eminently effortless and believable. In all honesty I have read a bunch of stories by author Silver Shine, and while I am a fan of a number of them (most especially Scarlett Scroll, Girl from Whirlpool, and House of Crows) I must say I personally believe the dialogue and execution of Sacrificial Beauty is definitely smoother than the above-referenced comparison made by the prior reviewer. This is no offense intended to Silver Shine - as noted I enjoy very much a number of her stories - but I really don't think there is a valid comparison between this story (Sacrificial Beauty) and the one which the prior reviewer essentially claimed you have copied. And PS, yes you do have a bunch of sex scenes in this story but they are well written and believable (and also thankfully absent are those terrible fake loud orgasm exclamations so often present in poorly written stories) and the sex scenes here are completely appropriate for the plot (and BTW they are super hot too) so keep it coming. I like this most recent twist having the female leader start taking an interest in Sakura as a "defiant victim" of Kakashi, very clever. Just wanted to put my two cents (or twenty two cents) out there since I really enjoy this story and your updates make me so happy! Eagerly awaiting the next installment... |

I feel nerdy from rating twice in a row but you did ask for opinions...The chapter was good it ended a little too soon for my likeing but I wouldn't be too concerned about me saying that. Just a little note, I was never realy interested in naruto...until I read this fanfic you've done an exellant job!

Since I only just read this, I'm not complaining about the next chapter yet but...please please please hurry up with the next chapter!! I often think that the cause of my insanity and disability to finish my own fanfics comes from waiting for other people to write more chapters in their fanfics. By the way, I LOVE you fanfic! *Fav*

Very good story you have going here. I can hardly go several paragraphs wihtout giggling. Your setup is one I wouldn't expect, and haven't seen before. Looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm really picky about fanfics. For me, they MUST be well-written, with a good premise/plot, a believable pairing, and minimal grammatical mistakes (I'm an English major, what can I say?). Your story fits the bill on all counts. Keep up the good work and keep updating; I'm anxious to see where the story goes.
