Wonderful update! Really looking forward to seeing how this whole thing falls into place. I can understand how real life gets in the way, but if you can manage to update once a week that would be awesome! Whenever you post the next update, I'll be eagerly awaiting it. Keep up the good work!

Hey, just wandering if your updating soon. I don't want to sound impatient, I'm just curious to what happens next. Like, is Miroku still going to have the wind tunnel since Naraku will be around? Then there's the matter of Sango and Kohaku, and there village being destroyed, if your even going to do that? I'm just wandering what your going to do next being there's no jewel involved, since that was a major reason the whole story started, and the reason Naraku was such a difficult foe. But now I'm rambling, I'm sorry, I just like this story so much, expecially the way your doing the InuxKag relationship. It's nice that there able to take time and listen to one another, instead of jumping to conclusions and running off angry. So you know, take your time, and I look forward to you continuing the story. YOU ROCK!!!!

I'm honored...thank you for the recommendation, it is most appreciated. And thank you for having your Kagome and Inuyasha discuss things like mature adults! I loved the way you handled the brief 'misunderstanding' scene. Most other stories would have probably had Kagome catch on to Inuyasha's sudden change in behavior, but then she would've chickened out on saying anything about it, thinking to herself 'I feel like I'm missing something' but then that would've been it, and for days, maybe even weeks there would have been a horrible rift between them because of such a small yet huge misunderstanding. Having Kagome clear it up right away once she realized something wasn't right was so refreshing to see, and I can't wait to find out what Kaede needed to discuss with them. Keep up the great work!

Excellent update. I thought it was a wise move to eliminate Kikyou so quickly. This way, it was just a quick rush of adventure they had to survive instead of a prolonged ordeal. As I was reading it, before I got to that part, it had dawned on me 'Wait a minute, Kikyou only came back because Inuyasha called her name' but I see you realized that also and took care of it by having Kaede call her name instead. I also loved what you did by making it Kaede's "betrayal" instead of Inuyasha's. Also glad to know that Miroku should be making his appearance before too much longer, especially since it's now clear that Naraku also believes the jewel to still exist. I can't wait to see what happens next! But also...enjoy your vacation. I guess I'll have to wait to see what happens next *sigh*. Keep up the great work!

I can safely say I was satisfied with that. Kikyou won't be hanging around causing trouble and confusion for Inuyasha and Kagome, but having her for a short while helped with the plot of Naraku being thrown in the story. Very will done, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!

JIjijiji I couldn't read the other chap yesterday... and today i find out that here are TWO chapters xD i was soooo happy and IM SOOOO AMAZINGLY happy at how you KILLED kikyo jijiji yeah!!! Inuyasha killing kikyo it's one of the best thing to read yeah!!! I love it xD I HATE kikyo xD and thanks for erasing her for the rest of the fic, as GREAT as it is, i mean, to be the GREATEST GREATEST needed to have kikyo-corpse out xD jijijiji and i liked the way inuyasha was with kagome, looking for her, and taking care of her and stuff, i love the way you make them together xD it's so sweet xD i really love you're fic and enjoy you're vacations xD and tons of luck xD jijiji see ya in the next chap xD

No worries about them being look-alikes. In the canon (namely, the manga) they do indeed look almost identical to one another. Now I want to bitch-slap Urasue for calling that clay doll the "proper" shell for Kagome's soul. How dare she?! Arrrg! Kagome is the proper shell for Kagome's soul, damn it! That's how reincarnation works! But excellent work on your part, as the writer, I'm just mad at the character, which is just fine because she's a bad guy. :-) Keep up the good work!

Well, we all know where this is going. But the question is on what you're going to do with Kikyou? I mean, she didn't fall for Inuyasha, the jewel's gone, and I'm not really sure about Naraku at the moment, if he's still around. So that just leaves the question on what's going to drive her anger and hate this time? Please update, I love this story sooooo much!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!

I can picture you now, sitting in front of your computer screen and cackling "Bwahahahahaha" with your wicked plans! LOL. Okay, so (obviously) you will be bringing Kikyou back to life, at least temporarily. One wonders, though, didn't Urasue only resurrect Kikyou the first time to look for jewel shards? Did she perhaps hear a rumor that the jewel was back (which we know from Yura that Naraku was passing around) but she simply doesn't yet know that it has already been purified? That would explain it easily enough. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you handle all this given the drastic changes in this timeline. Inuyasha will definitely not feel any guilt or responsibility for Kikyou's death, and will owe her nothing. But by the same token, Kikyou won't even think that Inuyasha was the one who killed her in the first place. There was no relationship, and thusly no betrayal. While we know there is still a Naraku, he never took Inuyasha's form to do his evil deeds, and so Kikyou didn't die with the same amount of hatred in her heart. Hell, she might even feel guilty herself, for sealing Inuyasha, once it becomes clear to her that he really is a good guy. True, you had shown her getting that smirk on her face that made us aware that she'd likely been thinking of using the jewel to turn him human, but that had mostly just been a means to an end, to get rid of the jewel, which had been her ultimate goal. Now that the jewel is gone, she should feel relieved at that. Listen to me rambling on, but it's just that this can go in so many different directions! Kikyou could be nicer, or she could still be a vindictive bitch full of hatred for simply having died before her time. She could still be jealous of Kagome, for simply being alive, for being her 'replacement'. At least we know she won't be a love interest for Inuyasha...all of the unknowns are much easier to bear with that fact in place. Speaking of, allow me to stop ranting on the Kikyou twist for a moment to comment on how much I loved the rest of this chapter. I think it's wonderful that Kagome has decided to stay with Inuyasha and forgo the chance of possibly going home, which (just like she said) might not have even been possible, anyway. Even if they did end up finding a way to send her home, it was clearly getting to the point where she would've been heartbroken to leave. So now that they are officially together, I can't wait to see what you come up with next, Kikyou and all!

OMG!!! I haven't been able to stop reading!!! I just haven't... I had already see the title... but like it said alternative universe... i thought it was a ... a fic in the modern era or something like that... and then today... i was needing an Inuyasha fanfic to unstress myself... and found... GREATNESS but OMG!!! you're fic it's soooo... mmmm... AMAZING simple as that... there was just one other fic that i read similar to this one... but this one it's better cuz there is NO kikyo... and i LOVE that xD here it's purely Inuyasha & Kagome xD and I LOVE the way you've been working on the fic xD you're don an excellent job... i'll definitely keep a close watch on you're fic xD i NEED to keep reading it xD and there on one of the chapters i read that you were asking about Goshinki... well i think the idea of a brain washed youkai manipulated by Naraku it's a great idea... and i loved the fact that you made the pearl disappear and that you didn't cut of Sesshomaru's arm xD and i also loved how Inuyasha saved Kagome at the beginning... and the fac that even disgusting guys attacked her... that didn't DO it... and Inuyasha always saved her xD i LOVE you're fic xD i'll beleaving a review everytime i read you're updates i promise xD I love leaving reviews xD cuz love getting reviews myself jijijiji juajua xD well well... good luck in everything... school... university... work... family... friend... boyfriend xD everything xD and take care xD a big hug and keep writing you do it great xD well you RULE at it jijiji ;) Hey have a GREAT day xD byebye
