I just happned to think about this fic today and so had to look it up for a re-read. It's better than I remembered. I think it is my favorite out of all your digimon fics. Somehow I just find it real, more honest to the characters (or rather, to the characters I think that their pasts might shape them into becoming). But then I've never bought the idea that it was all darkseed/no Ken and that sans darkseed Ken reverts to some quiet, vaguely spineless non-personality. After all, you cannot plant a seed in a barren field. At least, not if you expect it to sprout. ;) But really, bad puns aside, I love this story. It is heartbreaking and real and even somewhat discouraging. But I love it. Thanks. |

Man, what a great plot. This fic must be one of the best I have ever read. Daiken/Kensuke fics always seem to get me. The ending was so perfect. I HATED it, but loved it at the same time because it was so inevitable.

I love this fic. Then the last chapter came--my jaw dropped. I love this story sooo much. Very original. I can see why it won!

Really enjoyed it, read story with 1 break in between. A tad too much lemon thoughout whole story though, but was okay.

I loved it. Even though people complain about the ending..i still loved it. All your stories are pretty dark, and that is the kind of stories i usually go for. I felt bad for daisuke, but i felt more bad for ken. Daisuke kinda irritated me...after he KNEW that ken needed him and that he was the center of his world, how could he leave him like that? One of my buddies complained that your stories are too dark and twisted, but who cares right? that is what makes me want to read it. I hope you can repost some of the stories you had on FF.net...I really didnt get to read them before they got deleted. |

Fantastic. You're horrible, HORRIBLE, you hear me, Kin-sama? I don't know why I keep reading this fic, but this is the third time I have. (Not standing up to my five studious readings of Mistakes.) The first time I read the end of Walls, I cried like a baby. You're *awful*! But, so, sooo fabulous. Ugh. You have me contradicting myself left and right. I hate that ending, I HATE it, but I wouldn't of ended it any other way. Perfection. Simply perfection. Each word, each sentence, each subtle little adjective creates an amazing affect that leaves insane critic fangirls like myself drooling all over you. Ugggh. How *dare* you, sir? Gods, Kinslayer. I never get tired of your fics. I actually don't read them for the lemon (really!) but instead for the characterization, which is brilliant. It's especially chilling to read in a fanfic things that I've gone through myself at the end of a loving relationship...that disturbing feeling of something just being *wrong*, and having to end it. I'm also a big fan of unhappy endings. It's much more realistic that way. Anyhow, keep on trucking, or shipping, or whatever. You've got at least one devoted reader you can count on. ^_^ |

I understand that a lot of people here think this is a bad ending. I *love* it. You see so many fanfics about people getting together, and not so many about the end of a relationship. Plus, Daisuke escaped the codependency, which I approve of mightily. This ended the only way it could if one of the couple was, well, sane. I myself find it to be an uplifting ending, because bad relationships suck like little else and Daisuke ended it.
On the other had, Ken gets shafted. While this does leave him with the opportunity for growth, it's not too likely that he'll let Dai go. That part *is* sad, but probably realistic. |

Only nine for enjoyment. For me it is tainted by the predictions of "Oh God no, this can't end happily".
Well, you've had everything about this one already from me. I don't think I can actually type it all again! Let me just say that this fic is STILL fabulous even when re-read, the lemon is as always highly lovely and erotic *grin* and the emotions are beautifully captured. You need to write something new now - I need some more incredible fanfictions!
Oh and ignore the reviews which critise the ending. Personally, I think the ending is one of the best parts. They could NEVER have been happy together and I think that it was the best thing for them both in the end.
Will you ever write a HAPPY Kensuke/Daiken? A challenge from me, write a HAPPY Kensuke/Daiken and post it! Ah, go on! Please? |

WHAT iS WITH THE ENDING OF THIS FICTION!? not only is it with out explaination but how can you break ken's heart like that. The whole fic is so wonderful until that last part. it ruins the entire thing. |
