Oh, wonderful! There are so few stories in which Kirara is a main character! I love how this starts, with a simple sentence that you repeat, adding more details. It's a great way to bring your reader in. Kirara's musing about Inuyasha is very insightful. I always thought she was probably the deepest thinker of them all, since she never talks. I thought Kirara's frustration with Inuyasha not talking to himself was cute. I'd like to know if she came out of hiding after Inuyasha spoke to her the first time, or if she stayed out of his reach. Her movements are a little unclear after she mewled to get his attention. Also, how far away from the camp are they? It seems like the demons are heading right for Inuyasha and Kirara, but then Kirara later is worried about being seen. Are they the target, is it the Jewel, or do they just have the bad luck of getting caught in between two fighting demons? Even though this was a short chapter, it was very enjoyable. I'm going to go read the rest of the story, now. ^_^ ~ Aquamarine

This was great! I've never thought of Kirara's perspective before. She's a great character, too. "The Hunt For The Ears" ROFL!

I read Chatper one and I have to say that you have a very interesting piece here. Amusingly, I did not get a chance to read it when it was up for featured status (which it got) and now I wish I did. This is an interesting Inu Yasha story outside of the typical vein. I like the fact that you used a lesser known character's perspective to tell the story. You've done a good job.

That was the best fic that had Kirara in first person that i have ever read. The only thing about it was it was a little short. lol. my fave part was about the ears at the end.

Aww! This was GREAT! I had so much fun reading it! Not gonna say a THING about your action sequencing... I liked very much (and since I, myself, am not an action type . . . LOL!!!!) Ahhh, let's see... we're supposed to 'critique' right? And ... if there really isn't anything TO critique? What then? Hmm... I guess if I had to say anything, I would just say that ... umm... too short? And I don't even think that, really. Grammar and spelling dead-on. Characterizations? InuYasha's was awesome. Kirara? Exactly like I'd expect from the voiceless youkai. Just really nice, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Thanks for the highly entertaining writing break! God bless, ~Sueric~

That was a great little story, tnough I would love to see more... Battle seens are pretty difficult to write, but you did pretty well with all of these. I really did enjoy this, and I think you should try writing more like it!

This seems like a really interesting fic to read. I haven't seen many fics about Kirara, much less one that has her speaking in the first person. I'm really interested to see where you will go with it, and your writing style is pretty good. Update soon!
