HOW COULD YOU???!!! *clears throat* Heh, sorry 'bout that, That was just a very bad(or good, depending if your trying for reader's interest or torturing already existing readers) spot to stop! ARG! That was just so frustarating, and now I need to know what happens next! Please! Update soon... For your reader's who are being driven insane with curiosity's sake....

another great chapter. i like how you have Kurama kinda freaked in this place & Hiei comforting him when neccesary. also, the story of the 1st ghoul was pretty cool. and him taking over Kurama made it even more interesting. can't wait for your next chapter when we meet this ghoul person. and hopefully we'll find out why Hiei can't become a ghoul, though i already have a guess. anywayz, update soon!

great chapter there. i like how they're both wrestling with their emotions & their intentions, or in Hiei's case his natural instinct of mistrust. i can't wait for the next chapter. i'm really curious about this area now. update soon!

Wonderful! For what it's worth, I believe you have the right mixture of explanation of what the characters are thinking and actions which, to a degree show the same. Hiei's problem with rain and relative youth is beautifully described, but Kurama's thoughts as he unfolds his plan, (knowingly) lies to himself, and perhaps, starts to change his mind (or not) is fascinating and all so well in character for the older, multilayered thief. More soon please.

this is really great. you have both Kurama & Hiei exactly right. it seems almost perfect. i love how you have Youko being bound by one of his more admirable traits; his honor. Kuronue's death even happened perfectly. Kuronue initiated it, Hiei didn't stop him. it's all flowing so well. keep it up & update soon.

Awesome! I really liked the metaphor at the begining of the chapter about the spider. It painted a vivid picture. The suspense is killing me... I love the way you created this world they're in. It is so like our own in earlier ages and the Yu Yu Hakusho Makai, and yet it is so very different. God speed writing the next chapter. ^_^

Yay. ^_^ As always, I love your writing. (I don't know if I've ever told you that before.) You were right, this stands well on it's own. All of the plot and ideas, it's very clever. The way Hiei got Kuronue to kill himself, that was smart, though cruel. Please update a little faster next time, if you can. ^_^ *hides* and I'll try to get around to reviewing more often.

Another great chapter, although short. For what its worth, I think you made the right decision to end chapter 4 where you did (more impact). Wonderful description of the mixture of emotions and shock that Kurama feels, and I loved the description of Hiei perhaps masking his curiosity by attempting to appear bored. Honor v. throwing away his love's sacrifice, what a heartbreaker. Please, please hurry back soon with more.
