Oh my! This is always so worth waiting for. I love the twist and turns that this story takes me in. I feel for Kohaku, as all the madness radiates out of each typed word, you manage to capture every emotion. Even with what is going on with Rin and Shippou. I will patiently wait for the next chapter for you do make it enjoyable! Peace!

I have to say this is the most enthralling piece of fanfiction I have read in a long time (I've crossed many fandoms spanning over a decade, so needles to say, I've read quite a few). I can only think of one other fanfiction I've enjoyed this much, and it was a HP fanfiction. Seriously, this story is so original, I couldn't quit reading it. I read all that you have posted in one sitting, because I saw that you won the award for Best Dark Fic 2008 from IFGA. I probably wouldn't have read it otherwise, and sadly, I would have missed out an absolutely amazing story. I do hope you continue. It would be a shame to let such a story waste away without an ending. It would also be a shame if you had no desire to persue writing as a career. It is rare for someone with such originality using someone else's characters in a story can move me so deeply. If you do have some original works, I hope to see them one day on the shelves. However, except for a few grammatical errors, your story is wonderful. The flow of the writing is superb, and I'm not wont for anything. You are writing for my favorite genre, and I do not usually rasphodize over others works--but your story is truly awesome. I'm sorry if I can't accurately convey my feelings to you, but I hope I at least leave a good feeling about your writing. Please keep it up. It would be a shame if you weren't to finish it. I would love to know the ending, be it happy or heart-wrenching. Cheers! Lesse

I just think that your story is amazing being original and captivating. The characters are written beautifully. I read this a while back and came back to check for an update, in the process rereading the whole thing again. Please update soon, not updating after a chapter like thirty five would be unbearable!

Damn it, more pieces to the puzzle are revealed here, but the cliffhanger is going to kill me! I hope that your muse doesn't make you wait months before writing another chapter! I feel so hypocritical saying that, I'm sorry (since I have been so lax myself as late...). But this is the greatest IY fanfic ever written, and you know I love and worship you! WOW! I'm sorry to say I had forgotton about this story and had to reread the chapter before to get reacquainted, but it's worth it. This is still a great fic, and it seems like the end is near. I don't blame you for staying away. Sometimes we need a break, or sometimes real life stuff is too overwhelming. I'm on a break myself right now. But I'm glad you got back to it - I just hope you're doing it because you want to, not because you feel you have to. Anyhoo, this was a VERY angsty chapter (just the way I like it!) and I look forward to more!

Is there any hope that Kagome and Inuyasha will be together in the end? Does not look like it. There is alot of tragedy in this story in so many intricate ways. I'm so glad you're back! This story is seriously one of the most intense I've ever read, fanfiction or other wise. I saw that you had updated after so long, and I was like 'Whoa, I don't know if I can handle this.' but I did, and it was awsome! Poor Kagome, but it all makes sense now! I hope InuYasha is still there, deep inside, they both deserve that much...even if they do die in each others arms. Anyway, update again real soon!

You write an AMAZING backstory! The scene with InuYasha's father and Midoriko was a fresh, interesting speculation on how the jewel came to be and the twist revealing that it was the demons trying to get at Midoriko and NOT InuYasha gone mad all those years ago made my jaw hit the floor. I'm ecstatic to find this updated and anxious to read what'll happen next. This was definetely worth the long wait :) ~Amber

I have to say, there is one thing you could do to mitigate the long time between updates: Give the chapters names. As it is, if I wanted to find the chapter that showed Midoriko killing Maketo and take another look at it, I'd have to filter through thirty-four blind numbers. Names are easier to attach to memory. ~~~ It's not too clear what's going on with the Sangozombie. I thought that the things that had possessed Inuyasha's body and the things that had possessed Sango's were the same. Now it seems that they're not but it's not quite clear how they're not. ~~~~ Also, the line "Is that the truth," and a few others: I can't tell if it's supposed to be Kagome or ZombieSango speaking. ~~~~ “This time there will be no jewel to constrain us. Instead, we will become the jewel!†This... ...does not make sense. How is becoming the jewel so different? He still would have no feet or eyes or autonomy? Why is he happy about it?
