Wow, I think I'm running out of ways to say how much I love this story and every new update you give us. It's always so exciting to see your new chapter notices in my email, and to settle in and get nice and comfy because I know a long and very exciting chapter awaits me hehe. I really liked this chapter though especially because while it didn't have so much of the usual raw pain it had this little light of hope where Kagome finally starts to feel better. Her character has been going through such heart wrenching emotions that I was so happy for the first time to see and really be able to feel exactly what you had said, that she was complete. I love the darkness of this story of course but I'm still hoping for a least a somewhat happy ending, or at least a peaceful ending :) And I was super excited to see Kohaku! I love it whenever we see more characters coming into the new story because of the interesting ways you've changed them and how you're going to be using them! So I'm really looking forward to seeing some more of his story, especially after you did such a great job of describing Kouga's new life. I do wonder where Kouga's gone though; hopefully we'll be seeing more of him again in the future. ;D Well anyways, another fabulous update and I can't wait for the next one!

Over the course of this day, I sat down and read this fanfic from start to finish, only stopping twice to leave the house, and all I can do is say that I have been incredibly impressed by the depth and artistry exhibited in this fic. This is the most angsty and twisted fic that I have ever read, both in the level of convolusion and the sheer volume of material, but I enjoyed reading it immensely, and it is my favorite angst/drama fic to date. I complement you on your ability to write such incredibly long chapters - I suffer from a case of "get to the point too quick" disease in my own fanfic, and my chapters typically weigh in at about three pages on mediaminer, so I admire you gift for description and your tenacity in continuing to write incredibly long chapters and delivering a polished product with each update. I completely understand what you have said about the muse deserting you - it happens to the best of us - but I would like you to know that we readers are behind you, no matter how long it takes you to update, and we will keep on reading no matter what - especially me (tee hee). As a general rule, I am against fics where Kagome is portrayed as short-tempered and foul-mouthed, but in the case of this fic, I can allow this prejudice to be negated, because that personification of Kagome is necessary to the story and the nature of this fic. I did not mind at all the rape and violence that occurred in this fic - my own fic on mediaminer contains similar elements, which are necessary to the story. I love your ability to introduce elements and pull them back into importance later on in the story, although sometimes I feel that some characters spend too much time agonizing over the same memories over and over again until I just want them to get on with it, unfeeling as that may seem. I enjoyed the technique that was used in the first fifteen or so chapters, where the past situation ten years ago was slowly revealed to the reader, and the events were analyzed from the viewpoints of every person who was involved in the crisis. This technique lent depth to the events of the past, and helped me to sympathized more with the plights of the characters. I especially appreciate your personification of the new InuYasha with amnesia, and I am very interested to find out how things will be fixed with him and Kagome. In one of your author's notes, you stated that you wanted this story to have a happy ending, but I am wondering how this can ever happen, since Kagome still hasn't told him everything, she still resents him, Shippo is still on a vendetta, and InuYasha is still going to go crazy and die anyway. I have faith in your capabilities - but it certainly seems like a lot to fix and a lot to handle and pull together. Am I right in sensing that there is a bit of a romantic attraction between Shippo and Rin? If so, I think that this is a good development, and I would like it if this trend continued. I'm having a little trouble buying that Kohaku would escape alive while Sango and Kirara perished in the flames, especially since he should have died immediately when the jewel shard was removed from his undead body, but I'll buy it for the sake of the story. Is Kagome really going crazy when she sees Miroku's ghost offering her cryptic advice while she's bathing? It seems just a bit disturbing to me. I can't wait for InuYasha to remember why he made the wish on the jewel to become a full demon, because then, Kagome will have all of the information that she need to forgive him and begin anew, knowing that he did not wish on the jewel with selfish desires in his heart. She'd better hurry up and tell him about the baby, because that will be the ultimate form of closure for her and the thing that will end her pain and running once and for all. I like that InuYasha and Kagome have grown up somewhat, but they both need to learn to face their inner demons (no pun intended). Anyhow, thank you for a wonderful story. Please Update!

I found myself constantly trying to hold my breath, the entire time, while I was reading this chapter. It was that good. I really enjoyed all of this chapter. There was a little peace mixed in with all the angst. I was so glad that Kagome found some faith in InuYasha, and it just got better when Kohaku joined in. This has been a dark story, and I was afraid that it would only be dark. However, the flashes of lightness that you interject, are almost blinding. This story is a heart-pounder. My vote is for a happy ending, with angst or not. Maybe Santa will make my wish come true. I am here to the end, regardless. I sign off in awe of your fearsome talent, Cynbad146.

You've updated. This chapter was a great one. Inuyasha and Kagome have finally forgive each other. Does that mean that they will be together? When will Inuyasha find out that Kagome lost their child?? Update soon.

I have to go -- haven't finished the whole chapter, but Kagome's just had what might be a major healthy breakthrough. ...which means something very counterproductive is about to happen. Darnit! I'll finish it later.

Kind of an evil cliffie. ::chuckle:: Seems like a good time for InuYasha to regain the use of Tessaiga! Great chapter - thanks for updating!
