Another amazing chapter i hope Momiji-san can knock some sense into Kagome. I shall await the end of this story with bated breathn then reread it all over again. To be truthful i don't want it to end yet :)

Beautifully done. I can't imagine what it would be like to have PTSD piled on top of losing her powers and her baby, but losing a child is traumatic enough. You did a fabulous job capturing that sense of utter worthlessness and the desire to just be numb that one feels in that regard without condemning her. She's doing enough of that on her own. Gut-wrenching, but tastefully executed and very realistic. Oh, and by the way, I've been wondering just how in the loop the Emperor was throughout this whole fic. Thanks for the hint. Boy, jii-chan's a royal pain in the patoot. His poor choice of words, though delivered in ignorance of the situation, were enough to make me cringe. Fabulous job as always. I'm torn about the next chapter. Looking forward to it, but sad that it'll be over. WAAH!

Great as ever. I think I would probably be acting the same way as her...I hope things work out for them soon.

Wow, poor Kagome. Although I've never been in any position similar to something a returning soldier goes through, I think I can understand the emotional termoil Kagome is feeling. I wish, for her sake, she would just talk about it. This was a wonderful chapter. In fact, this entire story was amazing. I'm going to miss it. Can't wait to find out what happens next!

Wow. Kagome sure is taking things hard. The Inu brothers have such good scenting abilities that they already know her secret and they probably think that she never knew, so that's why no one is talking about it. Was her mom not a clue? [ smacks head ] I can't imagine going from having her power to an ordinary human. She's lost. I won't ask the questions I have about Fenik or Sesshoumaru's scent having Kagome's intertwined in it because I'm sure you'll answer them. I do have some ideas though. ^_^ Hopefully, Momiji pulls out the wooden spoon and snaps Kagome out of her funk. I feel so sorry for Inuyasha and where the hell is Sess when you need the bastard? Sorry. Maybe he's the one who called on Momiji. That was a great chapter. I'm really excited about the next one. Don't know that I reviewed the last, but that was one helluva chapter. ^_^ Snow

I wonder what on earth His Imperial Majesty was told? I'm sure it isn't every day he awards medals for mythical victories that took place several centuries ago! great line. Kagome's very emotionally fruited up right at them moment....

*wince* aah, holy crap, PTSD. And not the 'go the doctor, he'll give you happy pills' sort. I like it. It's a lot more realistic than a philosophical dreamy reaction. I don't what I'd do if I lost a child. I'm not sure if I'd hit the bottle, but it is cheap and available forget-brew. The situation for them both is heart-wrenching. While I'm sure he hasn't gone off with another woman after all these years, it seems likely that he's going to have his own wounds to heal now. It won't be la vie en rose... but that's life.

OOf, she sure knows how to stuff herself up doesn't she? Why wasn't Momiji-san called in earlier? But congratulations, I cried from the start to the end, and can't wait for the rest of it

One of your other reviewers mentioned Kagome was pregnant. Did I miss that somewhere? A well-written and heartbreaking chapter, it's both sad and unfuriating for Kagome to come so far and do so much and forsake all the rewards she's earned for it.

Yep...I raised a kid who had the hardest time with PTSD due to being in an accident....You did a good job of seeing her go into her personal darkness. But luckily, we have you for an author, and I know you won't leave her there. Nope. Loved how you let her feel Fenik, though. Love that sword...

This chapter was really well done. Kagome is coming apart in a totally believable way. Is she the only one who knows she lost a baby, too, or is everyone conveniently forgetting? The graveyard was a beautiful touch, as well. Love Kioko's wedding...gives us all hope! Anyway, you were much missed. Onward to the end!

Oh... My two cents about your AN: 1) The movies aren't written or drawn by Takahashi. Therefore, they have absolutely nothing to do with the actual story (they're loosely based aka non-cannon). SO no need to apologize no appply the movie timetable for the Inu no Taisho's death. 2) Their father is never given an actual name. Just his title. ...Actually, I'm not too sure about that either. I forget the exact kanji used in the manga, but the direct translation of "Taisho" in the Inu no Taisho's title can mean one of three things other than "to cope with": 1) [Dog of the] Midsummer day 2) Writing [Dog] in large letters 3) [Dog of] the beginning (i.e. the world) I'm guessing they used the second one and we very loosely "translated" "Large writing of Dog" into Top, then into General. I hate translating...

Hazzah! The Gatenmaru epi was one of my favorites! ^^ The only problem I have is with Inuyasha's reaction to killing the bandits. They were horrible men and deserved to die. Takahashi had him feel guilty for killing them, why? Because they were human? It seems like a running theme in the manga (one reason why I don't like it). She contradicts herself saying pretty early on that humans can be just as evil as youkai, okay. But then she has the main characters object to the evil mens slaughter, then has the male led have a fit over killing rapists and murders BECAUSE the humans begged for their lives? It makes absolutely no sense. Whatever... I'm just glad you kind of skirted around that issue and focused more on the "I could have hurt Kagome" fear. *gives you a cookie* In any case... Pretty good chapter! Gore and citrus - a perfect combo. ^o^ *gives you another cookie* Well, I"m happy. Hope the good stuff continues. Onward! ^^

Yes I know it's been a while. Real life stinks. But I'm basically speechless. Now that I have stopped crying enough to see the keyboard all the stuff I wanted to say has, for the most part, left me. I didn't think it was possible but my respect for you has doubled...no tripled. For having the guts to do what you did...Most writers would have a ton of hate mail right now, but I'm confident that you work is respected and understood on such a level that you won't have to deal with that. All the questions I had were neatly answered. I want to feel sad about what happened to Riko and Fenik & a large part of me wonders if this will send Kagome into depression but a tiny part of me is pissed and I can't ignore it. The harder I try the bigger it gets. How DARE Kikyo still make that selfish wish after she and Kagome already discussed it?! Did she really think it would work out if she changed it slightly? Same motive different wish. It ticks me off that after over a year she is still singing the same tune. I want to feel bad about how fate "cheated" her but I hope she spends the rest of eternity awake and knowledgable of her actions. I know that is harsh but as I said it makes me mad. Yes, I am grateful she "helped" but I'm just full of fury. Hopefully, after I read everything a third time I can focus on the other parts and review again. Because I do see and understand the other aspects of the story. I can understand why you choose what you choose. ( Actually I'm jealous. I would have never had the courage to do it. If you want to share your secret feel free. I will listen.) And now my head hurts from crying and being angry. Trust that I still love your story, I shall miss the ones lost in tragedy, and I will wait as long as it takes to see the finale to the finish. ( Do you plan to write anything after this? )
