It is about a girl named Hikari Hinashi who used human alchemy to try and bring back her older sister Kohaku, but fails and looses her right arm and left leg. being friends with the Rockbells and Elrics, she is brought to the Rockbells to get auto mail like Ed. She looses Ed and Al when she is 5, but finds them 10 year later. Ed is now a state alchemist and Hikari takes Ed with her to go take the State Alchemist.
