That's a nice piece. I also have Hitomi in Naraku in Centennial Hunger. It is a stretch because Onigumo made a deal with Naraku, whereas Hitomi didn't and is probably really dead. That doesn't mean that it would be impossible for Hitomi to be alive inside of Naraku. I like the thought. It would explain how Naraku is able to actually speak and behave with the manners he uses. Naraku almost always seems to have a suave and controlled demeanor, so it would be easy to see Hitomi in him. ^_^ Well done!

You know, I really, really like this piece. We all forget about the young Lord that Naraku absorbed to steal his likeness, and shame on us! Yes, Naraku started out as Onigumo, a human who took lower youkai into himself to gain their power, much like how Tsubaki had youkai within her, or...what was that girl who loved Sesshoumaru's name? Sara? But it is very true that the youkai Naraku absorbed remained a part of him, so what of the other human that had been dragged into the mix, indeed? And you're right, since Onigumo was wicked to begin with, and it was his greed that started the whole mess, he does not deserve our pity. The young Lord? He is truly one of Naraku's greatest victims. It is good to know that at least not everyone has forgotten that.
