wow, this is really great! i like your take on yami's attitude toward yugi. yami and yugi are DEFINITELY going to have some issues soon. yami wants to be owned and loved and needed. yugi just wants a friend/lover....if yami had his way, he would be nothing but yugi's slave, but of course yugi doesn't want this. i must say, i am eagerly awaiting the love confession. yugi is afraid that he will "force" yami into loving him, and i think that yami would not make the first move unless he knew that yugi desired it....anway, im sure you're glad to hear my babbling and analysis on YOUR story, so i'll stop now. i'll be waiting for the next update!

I have to say that I don't really agree with some of the stuff I've been reading here. I don't think the Items torure souls that they hold captive. And the door with the Eye on it...that's supposed to be Yami's soul room. In addition, I really don't think Yami would...act the way he does in this fic. Naturally, Yugi rescued him, so of course he's going to want to protect Yugi at all costs. But I've been reading the manga, and Yami seems...sadistic when it comes to dealing with those who threaten Yugi or his friends. Do I think Yugi is the center of Yami's world? Hell, yeah. But do I think he considers himself worthless and Yugi a god? No. Yami was, after all, Pharaoh once, and I think Yami has too much pride to consider himself nothing. If this sounds like a flame...*blushes* I'm sorry. You and I just seem to differ on our points of view about Yami. Anyway...this story is really cute and I'm enjoying it immensely. Even though I don't agree with your portrayal of Yami, I have to admit that I don't dislike his behavior and thought patterns. It's uber-kawaii! I can't wait for an update!

This is great!! I've never seen this concept done before (Yugi "seme" and Yami "uke"), and to be honest I didn't think I'd like it, but I do!! I like all your stories, and you are now on my Fave Author list. Can't wait for the next update. ^_^

^_^ Love how ur hinted at the eventual yaoi-ness, extremely kawaii. And I guess ur right, about how Anzu just happened to be convienient, but I still think it's a possibility that Shadi chose her because he knew Yugi would react that way. Afterall, he did glance into his soulroom a little before going to Yami's, who knows what he saw besides the usual toys and innocence? Anyway, I can't wait til next chapter, it's going to be awesome with all those riddles and illusions and ushebti breaking... *sighs* And I still say that Anzu should've fallen off the board, would've been cooler.

I do admit that the conversation was a bit anti-climatic (yet slightly adorable in it's own way), but otherwise it was a good chapter. I was reading over Shonen Jump vol. 6-8 to see the parts w/ Shadi in it, and I wondered why Shadi used Anzu of all people to be his "puppet". Did he know that Yugi had a crush on her and would react the way he did? Or did he simply use her because she was convienient and Jou was busy trying to outrun the professor?

Please continue this is so interesting I think I've said that before though, especially since I started reading and collecting the Graphic Novels I just finished Vol 2 lol. ( kind of looked at the storyline online so I know somewhat what the real story is ). Anyway love the fic.

Hi Laryna! It's Angel Reaper from FF.Net! Anyhow, I was really glad when you just brushed over the Hirutani incident, and that now Shadi's involved. Although, how Yami defeated Hirutani is definetely one of my favorite things to read in the manga. Anyway, you said that you had two different theories about Shadi, right? I can't wait to see them. I wish I knew the manga as in depth as you do to actually create a theory, I'm almost envious.

Mmm, new chapter smell. So soon we will get to see your theory on Shadi. *Twitch* Urge to reread this whole fic over rising. Either I must be blind, or you're excellent at subtle foreshadowing. I have no real major comments this time other then to say, I think Seto was insane enough and it's good to see that some of his old favorites defended him. Makes me think they knew what was happening to him and were a bit sad that they couldn't help him. Anyway, thanks again for updating. Go Y/Y fluff goodness!
