Ch. 12(Mistake)

Kai said, “Max is one of my friends, but I didn't expect him to be here.” Keyoko smiled and said, “I think he and Reyna like each other. You should've seen them.” Lexi nodded and said, “Yeah, they're really cute together.” Kai smiled mischievously and said, “You mean like Keyoko and Tala?” Keyoko turned red instantly, looked down, and said, “Well… I, um.” Kai replied, “It's okay. I was just joking.” Anna smiled evilly and said to Kai, “Oh, were you?” Kai laughed as the teacher walked in.

She was really tall, about 6ft, with short light brown hair and had sea-green eyes. She said, “Hello class. My name is Mrs. Essence. I'm going to take role, and then you guys can hang out until lunchtime.”

Once she'd finished role, Lexi noticed that her name had not been called. She told Mrs. Essence who said, “Well, you're not on my roster, so they obviously messed up on your schedule. Go down to the office and tell them. Take your stuff with you, too.” Lexi grabbed her stuff, said goodbye, and left.
