(Last time…
“Mobs…everywhere…” He grips his bloody shoulder and lifts his bruised head. “You gotta help me! My friend is trapped in the dungeon He's surrounded by Lightening dogs! And they're spawning faster than we can kill them!” He cried in distresses.
“Ah!” Raven and Reka gasped in shock. )
~*~*~*~*~*
Reka (Mai) still didn't understand the situation. “What? Start over from the beginning.”
The player was on his hands and knees. “You don't get it! Every time we jack out and try to jack in, we're right back in the middle of them!”
Raven (Sai) placed a hand on her chin. “I've read about this. `An unlimited bug.' No matter how many times you log out, you'll end up where you left off as your last save point. From what I gather you guys probably saved near there and that's why you keep turning up there.” Raven stated.
Roto walked behind them holding his sheathed sword on his hip. “They're testing the server. It's probably creating all kinds of bugs. As you heard they're working on expanding Bey-saga so this could just be a malfunction. Where is your friend?”
The wounded player shook his head. “You alone can't handle something like this! We need more players. Those aren't ordinary Lightening dogs! As they multiply they get stronger!”
Common fact: Lightening dogs. They multiply faster than the speed of light. These monsters are set for players that are looking for challenges. These dogs use lightening attacks that reducing 10% of life points for each hit.
Roto glared at him. “Lightening dogs? I can clear them no problem! Just lead the way.” He instructed. The player complied and led the way.
Reka looked at raven and shrugged with her. “What should we do?”
*~*~*~*~*~*~
Clanks of metal can be heard echoing through out the cave and panting ragged breaths can be heard. There was a yelp and a thud of something hitting the ground.
Roto wiped the blood of his forehead. “When you said we needed more players…” He made another sword slash at the lightening dogs threatening to snap at his legs. “I thought that you were exaggerating.”
The wounded player had tears streaming down his face and pouted at the increasing odds. Roto continued to pant as he continued fighting. “We can't go in any further. These dogs are stronger then they're supposed to be! They're almost Boss level!” He looks at the stair hanging above them and spots the two players he was talking to earlier who decided to tag along. “Hey! You up there in the peanut gallery! How about giving us a little help?” He shouted.
One reaches over the ledge. “What do you want us to do? You're 10 times stronger than the both of us and you're getting punked! We already don't stand a chance, but don't worry, if you bite it, we'll take care of your equipment!”
His partner points at his sword. “I call dibs on his sword!” he smiled.
Roto gritted his teeth when a dog made scratch marks on his arm. “When I'm done with these mobs, I'm going kill the both of you!!” he vowed.
Both players shrugged as they continued watching from a safe distance. “We may not be 75th level warriors, but we know better than to try and brute force an unlimited bug.”
“Mobs like this re-spawn when they're destroyed and a player gets their experience. After they're reborn they're set up for the next player, but when an unlimited bug pops up, it just an all-you can kill marathon!” the other informed.
“The only way to stop the bug is by blocking the regenerating program. That's easy for me, but not for players like you. You'll never hack your way through.” A new voice called out from behind them. Both players couldn't turn around in time, because a foot came in contact with their faces, sending them over the ledge and in the middle of a pack of dogs that devoured them. “AHHHH!!!!!”
“Who's there?!” Roto asked out of his good eye. (The other one has been scratched.)
Reka lowers her foot and smiles. “Nobody you should worry about. Too bad you had to come all this way for nothing. We'll take it from here.” She motioned john to join her.
Roto looks up at them. “Great, more scavengers! You won't be taking anything from me. You'll never get my equipment over my dead body.”
Raven appeared next to john and peers down. “Is that any way to thank someone who could be saving your life?” she mutters softly.
Reka leans in closer and squinted her eyes. “Yeah, well, that's usually how it works, Sir-stabs a-lot.” She said referring to roto's last statement. “Your dead body is about to kill over. What do you think john? Ever seen these mobs before?”
John shakes his head. “They must be part of the upgrade test. I've heard that a lightening dogs tooth is worth a lot though. Just a hint.”
Reka cracks her knuckles. “Really. I wonder how much experience you get…”
Raven tugs on her hood to make sure her face was fully covered. “You're out of your mind as usual.”
“I do like the concept of all you can kill.” John smirks.
“Ditto! Come and get it!!” Reka shouted as all three of them jumped from the ledge to join the fight or much rather take over.

Outside of the cave a woman was standing there rubbing her head and sighing.
“I've got a bad feeling about this.” She said gravely. Strangely this woman resembles Sai, only older and more…womanly. She placed her hands on her hips and scolded the man that was coming up behind her.
“This is entirely your fault, Luis! This bug is slowing the rate of every player! I got 10 e-mails asking if we started using a new server!” she scolded.
Luis rubbed his head worriedly. “That bad, eh?” he asked. This grown man Luis strangely resembles Mai in the hair and eye department.
Roto staggers out of the cave with his sword supporting him. “Liz?” he asked.
Liz hurries next to him. “Are you alright?! What happened? Is it the bug?!”
Roto asks still in a daze. “Are you two players?”
Liz shakes her head. “We're the debuggers…and sometimes the cavalry.”
Roto collapses on his butt. “Well, you're too late to be much of a cavalry…unless you're here to save the mobs. I've never seen anything like it.” Roto said in astonishment. “You two should go see for yourselves.” He said finally lowering his head.
Liz took this into account and began marching off into the cave. “This guy isn't helping! I'm going to go see what the fuss is about! Come on, Luis!” She demanded.
“Watch your butt down there! It's a whole different kind of dangerous!”
Liz stopped for a moment and looked out of the corner of her eye. “We'll be fine.” She took another step into the cave and then ducked out of reflex. A burned crispy body flew over her head, followed by a lightening bolt pushing the body into a mountain side and finally falling to the ground twitching. Louis grabbed a stick and started poking it.
Liz stands over the burned player. “What the heck is going on?!” she asked furiously.
Luis pokes him. “I don't know. I'd ask crispy here, but he isn't saying much.”
Liz ponders then takes off running into the cave. “Luis! Stop poking him, and let's go! We have a job to do!” she shouted.
Luis stops poking him and tries to catch with her. “Okay! I'll be right behind you!”
*~**~*~*~*~*
At school…10 minutes into lunch…
The BladeBreakers were going over the game plan for the Beyblade battle tournament at school. Occasionally they would nod and the others would shake their heads.
“Okay, so that's the plan?” Ray asked. Everyone nods in agreement, but Mariah shakes her head. “No! Why aren't I in this little plan of yours?” She asked them with her eyes growing slits showing her anger. “I want part of this too!” she argued.
“Offense Mariah, you're not on our team. You're on the White tiger team, remember?” Kai said when he took a sip of his soda without looking at her.
“Well…why are mai and sai in the plan?! They don't even know how to beyblade!” She shouted at them. By now they were unmoved by her temper. If they could take Hilary's temper, then they could handle Mariah's temper.
“We like them better than you.” said max, tyson, and kai at the same time with different showing in their voices. Ray just rubbed the back of his head and looked down.
“Where ever mai and sai are, they're taking a long time. Lunch is almost over and they didn't eat much.” He said looking at mai's lunch box that she left behind.
Max shrugged. “Whatever they're doing it could be more fun than this…”
~!!!~~~!!!!!~~~~!!!!~~~~!!!!~~~!!!~~~!!!~~~!~! Bey-saga~! ~!~
Reka smiles mischievously as she sending a large amount of thunder strikes at the dogs.
When she cleared the lot in front of her she puts her hands on her hips and laughs like evil insane maniac. Seeing more dogs on her right she repeats her process again, without letting up. “Ha! I could do this all day!!!” She shouted. Raven spared her a glance when she attacked her share of the multiplying dogs. She sent her sister a knowing glare. Reka caught her glance and said in a deadpanned voice. “Don't look at me like that, or I'll smack you.” She then continued her attacks on the poor unfortunate dogs that were slowly decreasing in numbers. Raven looked over at john who was having his own fun. He was slowly killing one dog because he killed the others too quickly so he's killing the last three slowly. Raven turned around when she heard someone gasp. She thought that nobody but the three of them were left in this mob fight. She took a good look at her and had to admit that she looked familiar, but she couldn't tell where she had seen her before. There was something there that just struck her memory.

Liz sighed at the sight of the mess of blood and guts all over the place. Luis managed to catch up to Liz and took into the sight.
“I understand that the server is upgrading the monster mobs, but why are these players just mowing them down? Maybe the mobs aren't loaded right?”
Liz just stood there. “No, the monsters are fine. It's their opponents that are the monsters.” She stated. Luis looked at her. “Huh?”
Raven casually walked over to a dead lightning dog and pulled out three of its teeth. When she heard another voice she turned her head. “Hey, didn't we tell you-?! Yikes!”
Liz gave raven a fixed smile and a small wave. Obviously they've met before.
“It's Lun- Liz!!!” Raven shrieked through her teeth.
“Hi, raven.”
“So, um…what are you doing here?”
Liz placed her hands behind her back and bent down at the waist. “I was just about to ask you the very same thing.” She said with a false sweet voice.
Raven tugged on her hood to cover her face. “Oh, we were just…you know.” She held both her palms up to create a dark barrier. She turned to Reka and john. “John! Reka! RETREAT!! LUNATIC LIZ IS ON OUR TAIL!!!” She screamed.
John and Reka immediately stopped fighting and froze. Their eyes were wide with fear for a second when they caught sight of her and then they turned to run away.
Liz yelled furiously at the retreating players. “WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!”
Reka ran along side of raven. “How'd she find us?! What do we do now?!”
John ran a few meters ahead. “How should I know?! Just keep running!”
Raven pulled out a map. “There's a back way out! We turn left here!”
Liz stood next to Luis, shaking her fist in rage. “Those three are always getting on my nerves! They call me a lunatic and then run away.”
“Those two girls…I don't know why, but they seemed to have a familiar aura.”
“I kinda get what you're saying, but I never did a profile check on them.” She admitted.
Luis ruffles his hair. “Well, they're quite a combo team, because they sure did a number on these puppies.” He directed his gaze on the dead dogs. “The lightening dogs were supposed to be one of the toughest programmed monsters and they managed to beat them. We should up the monster levels a bit.” He stated.
Liz kept a serious face and said. “Not necessary. Those two girls are obsessed with the game. They spend more time on this than most girls. I know they spend all night and day down here in the game…”
~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!In the shopping district of Bey-saga~!~!~!~!~~!
Reka and john sat on the ground trying to regain their breaths. Raven was leaning against a nearby wall trying to regain her breath as well.
“I think we lost her at least a couple miles ago…” raven panted and looked at them.
Reka wipes off the sweat on her forehead. “Leave it to lunatic Liz to ruin a good fight. I was on fire out there. I could've made some mad experience points.”
John rested his arm on his raised leg. “I know.”
Raven pulled her hood off. “Remember the last time…she…” she turned to them and asked. “I forget…why are we scared of lunatic Liz?”
Finding their strength john and Reka stood up and shouted. “You Forget?!”
“Tell her Reka!” john said.
“How should I know what she did?!” she asked.
“….well, um….”
Raven sighed. “Don't tell me you don't either.”
“We run away from lunatic Liz because it seems right to run from her.” They said.
Raven shrugged in a giving up motion. “Looks like they don't know either…Why don't I go back and ask her?”
Reka and john pointed at her. “You're talking crazy!!”
“Oh, come on. You can't me you want to run away from this one person forever.”
Reka slumped on the ground. “I'm not exactly scared of her. How can I put it? I remember that there's a good reason we run away every time she turns up.”
“It is weird that you two can't put your finger on it.” John commented.
“It must the memory gaps we get when we play the game, but I'm sure we'll figure it out. In the meantime we have to get some medicine. We're all out.”
John crossed his arms, like kai always does when he's in a bad mood. “The thing is; we've got no gold and barely any experience from the fight. When you play as long as we've have, it takes a lot to gain experience to level up.”
“What up with that?” Reka asked jokingly.
“Well, despite that, I'm so pumped for the new game expansion! It's gonna rock!”
John drops his arms to his sides. “Yeah, if all monsters are going to be like those dogs, then I'm with you, raven.”
Reka kicks the dirt under her feet, “I dunno. We haven't completely mastered this version yet. Plus we need medicine and some items.” She said, hinting towards something.
Raven pulls out a map. “Well, where should we go?”
John and Reka rip the map from her and pull her into a certain direction.
“We know just the place! Follow us!!” they shouted intently.

John and Reka came to a full stop in front of a plain old shop. Raven's jaw was slacked at the sight. `At least it looks cheap…' She could see a young looking man hanging up the item sign over a window where they give out the items. She heard a swooning sound coming from Reka and groaned. `This was why she was so eager to get to this shop. There's a cute guy working here.'
Reka skips over to the young man whom was just climbing down the ladder.
“Hello, Apollo! How's it going?” Reka asked casually twisting a stray hair around her finger and blushing.
“Reka. Long time, no see! I'll help you in just a moment.” He said.
“Oh. Take your time. I'm not doing anything.”
John walks next to Reka. “Is…Miss Ali in the shop?” He asked some-what nervous.
Raven drops her jaw completely. `John, too?! He's in love with a NPC?!'
A young women with amber hair tied in a pony tail that was draped over her shoulder opened the doors to the window. She poked her head out and smiled. “Hello.”
John blushes as he tried to speak to her. When he could he managed a wave.
Apollo joins her behind the window. “Okay. The sign is up. What can we do for you?”
Reka and john were too love struck to come up with any words. They had hearts in their eyes and birdies flying around their heads. Raven sighs at them. “You two are like lost puppies, it's embarrassing. Do you have any energy crystals, health boosters, defense orbs, or spell amplifiers?” she asked.
Apollo and Ali looked at each other. Ali “I'm sorry, but we don't have anything strong like those items…” she sadly admitted. “Maybe if you try the bigger stores downtown…”
“Never!!” John and Reka retorted while covering raven's mouth. “We would like 500 healing herbs and energy potions!”
Ali placed a delicate finger to her lip. “Didn't you two buy 500 healing herbs and energy potions the day before yesterday?”
“When you're tough fighters like us, you need to stack up!!” they said.
Raven's face was turning blue due to lack of oxygen and her eyes were swirling with dizziness. “I can't breath!” she shouted as she broke free from their grasps. “We don't need those weak items! I go through those in an hour!”
John and Reka push her out of the way to receive the items. “Shut up!”
Apollo hands them a huge bag. “Here you go. Anything else I can get for you?”
“No thanks! Those are great!” Reka said.
Raven stands up and dusts her blue robe. “I can't believe you two are falling for two some NPCs. Just when I thought you two were mature.”
NPC stands for non-player character. They're the computer-controlled characters who serve a complex function in the game. Unlike mobs, whose purpose of living in the game is to be killed.
Everyone looked around to find the source of the mysterious voice.
“Did anybody else hear that?”
“I didn't if you didn't.”
Getting back on topic, raven searches her robe. “Wait a minute. I have a question.” Raven pulls out the teeth she plucked from the dogs they killed earlier. “Can you tell me how much these are worth?” she asked as she placed them on the windowsill.
Apollo picks one up and examines one.
“It's a lightening dogs tooth. It's got to be worth more than a werewolf's tooth.”
“I'd like to help you, but this isn't on any of our lists. Can't imagine what it could be worth. Sorry.”
“It's supposed to be a rare item so it should be worth something, right?”
“It's worth at least 600 gold.” A voice that is familiar to all its fans! Hint hint!
“Huh?” Raven and Reka turn heads to see who was speaking.
A teenage boy with gravity defying red hair and icy blue eyes approached them. He was hearing a tight cloak with blood stains on his left shoulder. He was also holding a rope to keep some kind of large wolf tamed.
Ali turns her attention away from john and smiles brightly. “Oh! Hi, Tala!”
“Good afternoon, Ali.” He said passively.
Ali began to brush some stray hairs out of her face. “You haven't visited us in such a long time. I hope you haven't forgotten about me.”
Tala pulls a brown bag from his cloak. “No chance. I've just been busy.”
By now Apollo and john were out of their way. John was ticked off by the new comer that seemed to talking to Ali. Apollo couldn't care less about the situation.
“I figured that maybe you went to better item shops.” She said shyly.
“Come on! Where would I get this kind of service? Anyway, do you think you could sell any of this stuff?” tala asked as he placed the items down for her to look at.
“Wow! Look at all this!” she exclaimed as she examined all the items.
Raven was slightly interested in the new comer, but she was really interested in the wolf beast that he had on a leash. `Is that one of those bit-beasts everyone talks about?'
“I'm not asking for top dollar. Just give me a fair price.”
John was in rage by now. He armed himself up and charged at the red head. Raven saw this coming and used her dark magic to stop him from causing trouble. She used power to immobilize him and dragged him away from the shop with Reka following behind.
When their backs were turned, tala gave a suspicious glare that went unnoticed.

After they were far enough away reka and raven began talking regularly about anything that came to mind.
“Seriously, it tasted like sushi mixed with ice cream.”
“Gross.”
“Actually it's quite good, I can't explain it…”
Soon they were halted by a Bey-saga guard who pointed to raven's stained robe. On her left shoulder, there was blood.
“Excuse me miss. I was wondering if I could ask you something.” He said with authority.
They soon can to a complete stop. “If it's about a date, it'll have to wait…” they said.
“Due to security regulations, I'm going to have to search you.” He said as he grabbed ravens arm. “H-hey, search for what? We were just shopping.” Raven said.
“Yeah. Whatever's going on, we didn't do it.”
“Then whose blood is that on your friend's robe?” he asked pointing to raven's shoulder.
Raven looked at her shoulder in shock. “That blood? Oh…why do you ask? I could be my friend that's sleeping behind me.” She lied innocently.
“Blood is a sign that something is up.” The guard informed. “Players have been attacked recently by another player.” He pulled up a wanted poster that has a robed person. Any other description wasn't available to show the players real features.
“We are very certain that the player is a robed sorcerer.” He informed them.
Reka and raven studied the wanted poster. They were both thinking that it was the same guy they saw at the item shop. Leaving john behind they both made tacks back to the item shop to catch the guy they suspect to be the real culprit.
When they reached the item shop they saw that the red haired boy was gone.
Reka snapped her fingers. “Darn it! He's gone!”
Raven looked through the window of the item shop. “Ali, where'd that guy with the attitude go?!” she shouted.
“Y-you mean…Tala?” she asked apparently shaken.
Reka was still looking left and right for any sign of him. Raven nods. “Yes, him.”
Ali brought a shaking hand to her mouth. “What's wrong? Is Tala in some kind of trouble?”
“Uh…no. but do you know when he might be coming back here?”
“I'm not sure. He comes by every week or so to sell items.”
“Can you tell me what kind of items?” raven questioned further.
“Not the kind you get from mobs and monsters. He usually has stuff like armor, magic items, and weapons.” She answered.
“Items a player would have…” Reka concluded behind raven.
“Yes. So why do you want to see him?” Ali asked as she leaned on the windowsill.
“We want to join his party for a while…he is a skilled player after all.” Raven lied.
“Exactly, are you sure you don't know where he went?” Reka asked, encouraging raven's idea to make the lie sound convincing.
“He did ask where all players would go hunting for items. I told him to look in the goblin forest.”
Reka nods. “Really? We better move it.” She took off running again. Raven was following after her with her cape blowing behind her. They ran past the same guard that stopped them before. “Stop in the name of the law!!” he said with more authority.
They came to a slow stop. “Raven, your friend is calling you.”
“I still need to search you two.”
“Still?” they complained. “Raven, make him buy you dinner.”
Raven rubbed her forehead. “Very funny.” She said as she placed the guard under one of her black spells. “Listen! I'm may be a sorcerer, but I'm not a player killer!” She took off running again shouting, “We'll bring the real culprit to you!!”
Reka gave chase after her mumbling. “Do you think we forgot something?”
~!~~!~!!!~!~!~!~!~!!~!~!~!~!~!
Goblin Forest….
“Please…don't kill me…” a voice begged.
“I'll make you a deal. I'll kill you now and you can come back later to give me items.”
“AAAGGGHHH!!!!!” the bloodcurdling scream echoed through the forest, loud enough for reka and raven to hear.
“Shoot! We're too late!” raven cursed.
Where is he?!” reka asked.
Raven closed her eyes and relaxed her body to see if she could somehow sense him. She could feel a cold airy feeling coming from their right. “He's over there!” she shouted.
Reka took off running. “I'm on it like a bonnet!” she called out. “TALA!!!”
She parted the tall bushes that blocked her path. Soon enough she found tala and a dead player on the ground surrounded by blood. Tala turned his head to face her.
Reka cursed to herself about being too late. Tala studied her appearance.
“You're that chick from the item shop. What are you doing here?”
“I'll give you a clue. It has something to do with the corpse behind you.” She said pointing to the dead body. Tala glanced at the corpse for a moment and then back at reka. “What about him? He got what he deserved.”
“Heh. Your cold voice reminds me of a guy named kai. You killed that player didn't you? That makes you the player killer, not raven.”
Common fact: Player killer: a player killer who kills other players to steal their equipment. Killing other players is against the game law.
“So you know kai do you? Interesting. But what are you going to do to me?” he asked.
Reka charged at him and drew her daggers. “I'm going to kick your butt. What else?!”
Tala stood his ground. He rose to fingers and chanted softly. “Wall of ice!”
Reka stopped in her tracks when she met the wall of ice. She sheathed one of her daggers to free one hand to cast one basic spell. “Fire ball!”
She melted the wall of ice and continued to charge through to see that tala is gone.
“Where'd he go?” she wondered as she looked to her left and right.
Tala crept from behind her and attacked her. “You should know better than to attack an enemy without knowing their strength and weakness. Right, raven.” He stated as he turned his attention to raven who was hiding in the dark, hoping to catch him off guard.
“Azerath attack!” she chanted as she sent a dark wave at him. Tala dodged the attack with ease.
“Ah…you're a sorceress. I know exactly how to take care of you. Paralysis!”
Raven felt her body become tense. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't move. Her body fell to the ground. “Who are you? And how do you know our names?!”
Tala chuckled. “I guess you should consider an honor to die at the power Tala the wolf tamer and the master of ice!”
“Tala the wolf tamer? Where?” reka asked as she picked herself up. (She's dense.)
Anger vain appeared on Tala's head. “Right here! Idiot! I'm Tala the wolf tamer.” He turned his attention to reka and aimed his sword at her throat. “You must have heard of me. Think carefully before you answer.”
Reka backed away into a tree. “Yes! I mean, no! I mean of course everyone…”
“Tala the wolf tamer is a famous bounty hunter. Also the very first player to ever have a bit beast egg and hatch it, creating your very own bitbeast.” Raven informed standing up. “If we'd known who you were, we wouldn't have bothered you.”
“I should've frozen your hands. I never would've guessed you were a healer…”
A power a priests and some sorcerers use to heal other players including themselves.
“There's that voice again…”
“Ignore it.”
Reka took out her daggers again. “Okay, whatever! He's Tala the wolf tamer, big deal. I'm still going to kick his butt.”
Raven held he back. “Chill. I think we got this al wrong. Tala isn't the one on the poster. He's a bounty hunter player, kinda like us.”
“Yeah? Then why is that corpse kicking over there?” reka asked lowering her daggers.
“That must be the real player killer and tala just got to him first.”
Tala summoned his bitbeast. “I guess you girls aren't stupid. He was the player killer with the price on his head.” Tala stated as he mounted his bitbeast.
“Why didn't you just say so?” reka asked.
“I like to test players to see if they're up to snuff. I guess you two qualify. Later.” He said as he commanded his bitbeast to take off.
Reka turns red with rage. “That jerk reminds me so much of kai!! I've given a name to my pain and it's tala!!”
Raven walked over to the corpse and lifted his head. “Doesn't this guy look familiar?”
“Yeah! Wasn't he the guy from the cave?! We're definitely turning him in!”
~!~!~!~!~!~~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!!~!~!~!~~~~~
First warning bell to signal that lunch is over. Everyone began to get their stuff and move to their next class. The halls were full of people trying to get to class. Sai and mai were lost in the crowd trying to get through without falling to the ground. Somehow they got separated on the way without noticing too late when one sister managed to find a safe vacant corner.
“Mai? Uh-oh...”
~*~*~*~*~*~Mai Side of the story~! ~!~!~!~
Mai was shoved into the lockers by some speed walkers trying to get to their classes. She winces as she rubs her sore arm. “Jerks.” She mumbles to herself and started walking with the crowed. When she rounded she bumped shoulders with kai, causing two floppy disks to fall on the ground.
“Geez, what's with everyone bumping into me today?” Mai said as she tried to reach for her floppy disk, but the two floppy disk looked the same and she didn't know which one to pick up. `Shoot! Which one is mine?!'
“Are you sure you're not the one bumping into people?” kai said sarcastically as he reached to pick up a random disk. “Your attention must be half as short as tyson.”
Mai took the remaining disk and stood up, brushing the dust off her school skirt.
“You know what…I don't have time for your sarcastic remarks. I have to get the dirt on the jerk tala.” Mai declared.
Kai was somewhat shocked at mai's new attitude. Usually she would blow up and start yelling, instead now she's backing down.
“Why do you want to learn about tala?” he asked.
Mai blinked for a moment. “Oh no reason…” `Crap! I've got to think of something to fool kai. Sounds impossible but I got a crazy idea.'
“…It's just that I heard so much about tala that I want to know about him, ya know. I hear that he's super good looking and that girls would kill to be his girlfriend.”
Kai shoved his hands in his pockets. “So? What does that have to do with anything? It's not like he would give those girls the time of day.” He said in a gruff tone to hiding his jealousy. “You know, mai, you have other things to worry about. Like that report you have to do on monsters.” kai said as he waved the floppy disk that he picked up.
Mai points her finger at him. “Ha! For your information we finished our report on the monsters in the bazaar near the creepy cave! So, bleeh!” She stuck her tongue out at him.
Kai chuckled to himself. “For your information I lied. You were doing a report on minotaur's in a cave in a bazaar. So you lied about doing something.” He accused.
Mai lowered her finger and slapped her forehead. Kai smirked to himself as he walked past her. He stopped at her side to brush the hair past her ear and whispered.
“Since you lied to me, I guess I have to find out what you're hiding. I don't like it when my teammates and friends lie to me.” He continued to walk, leaving mai behind.
Her face was bright red because of kai. She shook her head.
“And what's that suppose to mean?” she asked.
“After school today, you and your sister are coming to the park for some beyblade training.” He said. “Later. Loser.”
“Oh, please! I'm not going anywhere with you. You dork!” mai snapped back.
“I heard that.”
“You were suppose to!” she said as she went to class. In the back of her mind she hoped that the disk she has in her pocket is hers. If kai had her disk and he put it in his computer…it could be possible trouble for the both of them.

(Fanfiction.net reviews)
Lucky-erin47 - thank you for liking my story! I'd bow to you, but I'd hit my head on my computer desk. So I'll send you lots of love with this chapter! Thanks for reviewing, I'm very grateful!

BlueChic - I'll update as soon as I can since you asked with an exclamation. Don't worry about mai and kai. I intend to make some chapters with them. Just gotta make kai cooperate with the romance sense. He keeps attacking me with Dranzer for some reason… Thanks for the review!

(Mediaminer.org review) No error…seriously…one reviewer. Nothing wrong with that, I'm grateful.

Amacklo - thanks for the ten out of ten! I like it when people create oc's too. Sometimes I don't know what the heck they look like even when people describe them, but I do like some of their personalities and that sometimes helps me picture them better. I really didn't know my story was nice and relaxing. Honestly I was trying to make it as funny as possible. HaHaHa! Hope you review again soon. It seems like nobody makes Beyblade stories on mediaminer anymore….
