Chapter 13: Warmth

By KellyQ

Kouji and Mrs. Right walked down the hospital hallway and into the hearing testing room where Takuya sat waiting for his koi. Once Kouji walked in the burnette got up and flunging himself to the dark haired boy and snuggled deep into Kouji.

"Ah," A voice came out as the dark haired boy turned his head to see a blonde nurse sitting on the opposite side of the room with a device in her hand that looked like dismantled typewriter on her lap, "so you must be the great Kouji."

The dark haired boy looked down at his koi not realizing that he was blushing slightly as his eyes shifted back at the blonde nurse.

"I'm not that great," He mumbled softly feeling Takuya shiver.

Kouji. You have a beautiful voice. Everything about you is beautiful, the brunette thought letting out a soft happy sigh that only the dark haired boy could hear.

"Now, you know that's not true," Mrs. Right said as she sat down on the other side of the room.

"Your friend, had a lot of nice things to say about you," the nurse said with a smile on her face, "shall we get started?"

"Takuya," Mrs. Right said translating it in sing language, "the nurse is ready."

The burnette nodded his head straightened up turned and walked to the nurse and sat on the chair.

"Now," the nurse started translating it, "this device here is going to make some funny annoying sounds and when you hear them raise your hand, okay?"

Takuya nodded as the nurse pressed some buttons and a sound came out, a high pitch one and the burnette raised his hand. The nurse smiled and pressed another one, this time it was a lower sound. Kouji just watched. His heart bursting with joy as he tried to hold back the tears that where threaten to fall. This was all too good to be true! Takuya finally gets to hear. Mrs. Right watched with joy in her eyes as the burnette continued to raise his hand at the beeps.

This was the part the nurse loved about her job. The good vibes and joyful looking faces. Takuya how ever looked back at his koi to see joy in his eyes and ... tears? Why would he have tears?

"Well. The testing is done. The last thing is to schedule another follow up at the front desk."

The first thing Kouji did after the nurse left was hugged his koi with tears of in his eyes as his body trembled with joy ...

"I'm so ... happy ... for you ..."

"We all are." Mrs. Right translated, "now how about we celebrate this with some ice cream?"

*An Hour Later*

"You too go on ahead. I've got some things to take care of."

"Sounds good."

They both waved. Finally alone. The first thing Kouji did was picked his boyfriend up and carried him to the apartment. Once inside, the dark haired boy continued to carry his koi until they where inside room 308. <I've really missed you Kouji> Takuya sighed before Kouji put him down but still had his arms around him.

"I missed you too," Kouji translated before he reached out and rubbed his Koi's cheek with his thumb and his other hand pulled him close again.

Leaning closer, their lips met and arms where locked around each other. Their tongs battled and moans could be heard. After a moment, Kouji won and slipped his tong in bring his hand under Takuya's shirt. After a moment, the dark haired boy with drew and looked at his koi ...

"I ... I wove ...u."

"I love you too." Kouji translated before he moved his hand from under his shirt and rubbed his koi cheek with his thumb.

<I said it all wrong>, Takuya sighed, <why didn't you tell me>? Despite that the burnette looked a little huffed Kouji smiled; Takuya was so cute. <Because>, <it's cute how you say it>. <Just like you>. The burnette looked away blushing when he felt his Koi's hand on his ear and his finger tips rubbed softly. This caused Takuya to look back at his koi and they held each others gaze. <Kouji> the burnette hesitated, <do you think you can teach me how to talk again>? <Sure> the dark haired smiled, <we're all in this together aren't we>? <We sure are>.
