Chapter Four
By White Rain
Gohan groaned, and opened his eyes. He was in the garden again. The flowers were pink and white. The grass was green and a castle was in the far background of the sky.
He scanned the garden with his eyes looking for the girl. He couldn't find her until he turned around. She was standing right behind him holding the pink flower.
For the first time, Gohan really got a good look at her. Her eyes were defiantly blue. They were deep-ocean-blue to be exact.
Her hair was silver and went way down past her legs. Her hair was worn in pigtails. Her lips were a pale pink. On her forehead was the crescent moon.
She was wearing a long blue shimmering gown, with no shoes on.
"Who are you?" Gohan asked.
The girl opened her mouth, but then shut it and looked down.
"Can you tell me anything?"
The girl bit her lip.
Gohan sighed, "just tell me your name. Or something I can call you."
The girl sighed and looked around.
"You don't even have to give me your real name." Gohan said hopefully.
"Bunny." She said.
"Bunny?" Gohan asked, slightly puzzled.
She smiled, "It's my nickname."
Gohan smiled back, "I'm Gohan. Do you where I am?"
Bunny nodded, "The Moon Kingdome."
"You mean… I'm on the moon and I can breath?"
Bunny laughed, "of course you can breath. Why wouldn't you be able to? I just want to know how you got the Castle's garden."
"Would you believe that I don't know?"
The silver haired girl nodded, "Can say it happens a lot, but you never know."
"Yeah."
"You aren't evil, right?"
"No." Gohan said honestly.
"Then it really doesn't matter. I'm sort of glad you came I was bored. I get lonely here sometimes."
Gohan didn't know what to say. He knew what it was like to feel alone. He'd never been utterly alone, but he had felt alone before. Especially after his father died.
Bunny grinned, "Don't worry my friends be here later on."
Gohan couldn't help but ask, "Why do the flowers sparkle?"
"As far as I've known they've always sparkled."
"I guess the chemicals on the moon are different from on the Earth."
Bunny's eyes widened, "You're from Earth?"
Gohan looked puzzled, "Is that a problem?"
Bunny sighed, "Not for me. But, most of the people I know hate humans."
"Why?"
Bunny shrugged, "I don't know. But if anyone asks, don't say you're human."
Gohan nodded, "I'm not a great liar, but," Gohan suddenly felt dizzy again.
"What's wrong?" Bunny asked, concerned.
Gohan closed his eyes, "I don't know. I just feel…"
Everything went blank.
~~~"Gohan!" Goten cried.
Gohan sat up and groaned. He rubbed his eyes.
Goten hugged his brother. "You're okay!"
Gohan hugged his brother back, "Why wouldn't I be?
"Don't you know?" Krillen asked.
"What do you mean?" Gohan asked. His brain felt foggy.
"You fainted." Trunks said.
"Bunny." Gohan muttered softly.
"You dreamed about bunnies? I dream about kittens! And Popcorn." Goten cried, not letting go of his brother.
"No, her name was Bunny."
Krillen grinned, "You were dreaming about a girl, huh?"
Gohan blushed, "It wasn't like that."
"Wasn't like what, are you hiding something?" Krillen asked.
Gohan gently set his brother aside. "It was nothing." He lied.
This only brought Krillen suspicious that he dreamed about a girl he liked even more. Gohan was grateful because of this. He didn't want anyone to know about his dream or whatever it was until he figured a few more things out.
"That's the second time this happened," Trunks said thoughtfully.
"Are you sick?" Goten asked worriedly, still clutching onto his brother for dear life. He'd never been sick, but his mom had and it was bad. She couldn't hug him or cook dinner and Gohan was a bad cook.
Krillen was worried too, he'd been around Sayjins almost all of his life and he knew one thing for sure, Sayjins didn't just faint for no reason. And they didn't faint twice in the same day.
"Gohan, you should rest, I'll watch the kids."
Trunks gave Gohan a pleading look that said 'be okay.' Trunks didn't get much affection from his father and his mother was always busy. His grandparents were okay, but they weren't the same as Gohan or Goten. He didn't want to loose either of them.
"Okay," Gohan said weakly.
Goten gave his brother one last hug before his brother set him down.
Gohan walked quietly up to his room.
Krillen turned to the boys. He could only think of one thing that would get their minds of Gohan besides fighting.
"Man oh man, I'm sure I'm going to regret this." he muttered to himself, "Are you guys still hungry?"
Goten and Trunks lit up and said, "YES!" Marron wanted her cupcake and said "Cupcake!"
~~~
Gohan shut his door and sat on his bead. He wasn't really sleepy but he didn't doubt that something strange was going on. The only time he had ever fainted was in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and that was only when he wore himself out training.
Training.He could train now. Krillen would be busy with the terrible two's and Marron who was in the terrible twos. He wouldn't do it very long. Just enough to see how out of shape he really was. Gohan opened his window and jumped out of it. He closed the door quietly. This reminds me the times I sneaked out when I was younger. He thought and remembered especially the time he sneaked out and flew on his dragon to see his father and Piccolo take driving lessons. In a way this event led him into drawing. He still had the picture of his Father and Piccolo driving in a car he had drawn. He smiled lightly at the thought. Piccolo had be a really good driver and got a manic for an instructor. She wanted him to really drive. Drive like a lunatic not an old lady. It was his father who was driving by a lunatic with an instructor who wanted him to drive safely. Nothing could be done normally with those two. The soon were erupted in a race with Piccolo's instructor having the time of her life while Goku's was nearly having a heart attack. In the end Piccolo and Goku saved a busload of people but didn't get their driver's license. Chichi convinced them to give Goku another try. After five more times he finally got it. Dad, I don't know how many times I've said it, but I'm sorry. You've probably forgiven me… but I've yet to forgive myself… Gohan shook the sad thoughts from his head and flew off to better place to train. ~~~ Piccolo was meditating at a waterfall. He had 'taken the day off' from Dende. He was a nice kid and all, but sometimes he and Mr. Popo got on his nerves. It was next to impossible to meditate. The fact was, almost everybody grinned on his nerves if he was with them for too long. He needed peace and quite more often then not. Piccolo suppressed a smiled. When he'd trained Gohan he had know intention to giving a damn about the boy. He just wanted to save the planet to be able to defeat Goku once and for all. The kid had potential, nothing more. He was nothing but a tool that's what Piccolo told him. But that four-year-old child warmed his way into Piccolo's heart. That insolent crybaby was nice to him no matter how tough and mean he was back. He only told Piccolo he hated him a few times, but after the training session he apologized. He fed the kid from time to time insisting to him that he would be useless dead. Over time the kid even hugged him. Of course Piccolo responded in a not so affectionate way, but Gohan never stopped trying to get Piccolo to show the 'nice guy' he really was. In the end Gohan won him over and Piccolo even sacrificed his life for his. He'd never tell anyone but he was glad Gohan did this. Piccolo was thinking about this in more when he felt Gohan's sudden decline in ki. He waited for a few minutes and sure enough he was back to normal. Piccolo wasn't the one to interfere and Gohan was okay for now but Piccolo decided to keep an eye on his friend. Hmm. Friend. ~~~ Gohan had just finished stretching and was fighting an invisible enemy. He couldn't believe how long it had been since he had really trained. He also couldn't believe how much he missed it. He also ached for someone to spar with. Goten was really strong for his age but he didn't want to hurt his little brother. He had hardly broken a sweat when he fought both him and Trunks. "Having fun?" Asked a voice. Gohan broke into a smile, "Hey Piccolo." Piccolo said, "I thought you didn't train anymore." Gohan shrugged, "I was thinking if we had another foe to face I'd better be ready." "Did you tell your mother?" Gohan looked sheepish "I just came to the realization today." "Let me rephrase, are you planing on telling her?" "Not if I can help or." Gohan admitted. "Some things never change." Gohan looked defensive, "I would tell her but I don't know how. Besides if I did tell her she would even keep a closer eye on me and it would be harder to sneak out." "What does you mom think you're doing right now?" "She's out shopping." "What about your brother." "Krillen is watching them." Gohan said lazily. "You do realize that Krillen can also sense ki." Gohan muttered, "damn." Piccolo said nothing. "I knew getting out was too easy." "He hasn't followed you yet. He's still at your house." Piccolo remarked. "He might leave me alone for awhile." Gohan said. "Do you want to spar or are you having fun kicking into thin air?" Gohan grinned and dropped into a fighting stance, "I thought you'd never ask. ~~~ Krillen did indeed notice that Gohan had left. He also noticed that he was sparring with Piccolo. Krillen was smart. He wanted to live to see his daughter go to school and interrupting a Sayjin and Piccolo while fighting was not a good idea unless there was an emergency. Krillen also knew that Gohan hadn't really trained in awhile. And no matter how much Gohan denied it, he knew that deep down he loved to fight like any other Sayjin. Krillen just hoped that Gohan came home before Chichi did. He feared Chichi just about as much as Goku feared needles. "Daddy?" asked Marron. Krillen smiled at his daughter. For awhile there he didn't think he'd ever have a family of his own. He never would have guessed he'd marry an old enemy, much less an android. But, hey you get what you get in life. "What do you need?" He asked. "Are you okay?" she looked so serious. The only thing that took the effect away was the chocolate frosting smeared all over her face. "Nothing, just thinking." Marron smiled. "Hey lets clean you up." Marron smiled, "kay." She grabbed her father's hand and they walked to the kitchen. Krillen washed his daughters' face and then looked around the kitchen. It was pretty clean if he did say so himself. Considering that two Demi-Sayjins had eaten there the room looked pretty good. Or at least that what he thought.
