Last time:
Edward got attacked by the girls of the village when he came back. Pinako had managed to drag herself over to him, even though she was severly injured. Now, the girls, controlled by a demon, circling them trying to kill them.

Now:
''Listen to me, Edward. Someone is controlling this girls. They don't know what they are doing. Ye mustn't hurt them.'' Pinako said clutching her wound. ''Beautifull words from an dying old lady. Hey baa-chan, you do realize that it was these girls that almost killed you?'' Edward snorted. ''Ye don't understand Edward.'' Pinako glared at him in pain. ''Ye must defeat the one controlling them from the shadows.'' she called out. ''You say it like it is a easy task.'' Edward readied himself to attack as one of the girls attacked him. ''Edward...! Ye must cut the hair the girls are hanging in.'' Pinako yelled. ''Hair? I don't see any hair!'' Edward called back. He striked against the girl, but suddenly she disappeared. ''Watch out! Above ye! Flee Edward!'' Pinako shouted in fear, but it was too late. All of the posessed girls, except one, tied him down, and the girl above him swung her axe at him. He dodged just in time. ''Oi. The youkai controlling them can't be very smart. Even if I can't see the hair, now I can just pull him or her out.'' he yelled, but when he pulled, he fell backwards. ''Sorry, but the hair is elastic.'' Yuri smiled. ''And now... I'll get your head!'' she said to herself and pinned Edward to the tree and tightened the hair around his neck. But he wasn't going down without a fight. He leaned out so far that the hair cut the tree in pieces. ''Nani? The hair didn't cut off his head.'' Yuri pouted. ''I thought I was a goner.'' Edward gasped massaging his neck. ''A normal human would be a head shorter now.'' Pinako told him. They heard noises behind them and turned. Now the whole village came posessed. ''Hm, reinforcements. We aren't getting annyway at this rate.'' Edward picked the old lady up and placed her on his back and took off. ''Hang on old hag!'' he yelled. ''Edward, watch out... the hair.'' she said. ''Did you say something baa-chan?'' he asked as he jumped right through the hair. ''No, forget it.'' she sighed.

Unbeknownst to them, Yuri followed with a smirk. ''He's tough. This will be fun.''

In a clearing at sunset, Edward carefully laid old Pinako on the ground. ''You... You said you could see the hair right?'' he asked. Pinako nodded. ''So tell me who's in the other end!'' he shouted. ''I can't... My sight isn't what it was... You have to get Winry.'' she said. 'So she can see it too?' Edward thought.

Meanwhile with Winry:
Winry laid unconcious in the bottom of the boneeaters well. After some time, she stirred and opened her eyes slowly. ''Where...?'' seh started but then remembered falling down when Yuri attacked her. ''That girl attacked me,'' '

Winry fell down the well as she dodged Yuris sword. ''You won't get away'' Yuri shouted after her and threw her sword.'

Suddenly a flashlight shone upn her. ''We've seen in the well many times, Joey. She isn't there.'' a old mans voice said. ''But I saw her fall down.'' a boys voice said. ''Are you sure you didn't imagine it?'' the old voice said again. ''But gramps, I saw it.''the kid said again. ''J-jii-chan? Joey?!'' winry called out, and the two looked down.

Winry staggered as she looked at her surroundings. She herself didn't look so good. Her hair was dirty, messy, her face was dirty and her clothes torn, so it was no wonder her family was worried. 'This is... my own time...!' Winry thought. ''Winry! You've been gone in three days. We've been so worried!'' her jii-chan cried. ''Why are you wearing those clothes?'' Joey asked. 'It isn't a dream... I'm home again.' she thought as tears welled up in her eyes. She threw herself in her jii-chans arms and cried. ''I was so afraid, jii-chan. I was so afraid.'' ''Winry, what happened?'' he asked.

Back in the Fedual Era:
Back in the clearing, Edward dug a deep whole and put Pinako in it. ''Old hag, I never really liked you, but I'll bury you.'' he glanced at her. Pinako opened her eye and glared. ''...I'm not dead yet, Edward.'' she said. ''I'm hiding you here. I'll dig you up later... If I remember it, that is.'' he put dirt over her body, and leaves over her face so she could breathe. ''Ye better not boy.'' she warned. Edward ran the fastest he could through the forest after Winrys scent. ''That damn girl... Where is she?!!'' he growled.

In Tokyo:
''This is heaven.'' Winry said, resting in the hot water in the bathtub. Down in the kitchen, Winrys kaa-san, jii-chan and otoutou-san talked about the fedual era Winry had told them about. ''Dad, what Winry said... do you think it's true?'' her kaa-san asked. ''Come on, you know it's true. That monster came from the well and took her...'' Joey said to his jii-chan. 'It's said that the booneeaters well, transport the bodies of the mononokes that are thrown in them another place. And if it's there she arrived...' ''I have no choice!'' her jii-chan yelled and stormed out of the house over to the boneeaters well. There, he sealed it off with many charms. ''There.'' he said and returned to the house. ''What? You sealed the well?'' Winry asked as she dried her hair. ''Yes.'' jii-chan said. ''I used pretty strong spells. No one will ever open it again.'' he said and began drinking his tea. Winry walked back to the well house, sat down and looked at the well. She felt a little sad. Why, she didn't know, but she did. 'It's like it all was a dream... But, Ican't stop wondering... If everything is okay in the other world. Edwards and Pinakos world.' she thought.

Back in Fedual Era:
Edward bended over near the well and sniffed after Winry- He found it and her clothes. ''It's her clothes alright.'' he sniffed down the well and her scent was even stronger there. ''So you hide down here, what?!'' he yelled and jumped down. A bright purple light consumed him and he was gone.

Back with Winry, jii-chans voice lingered in her mind. 'No one will ever open it again.'

In Tokyo, the were sounds of cars and music, lights from the buildings, hotels, restaurants etc. In the old Rockbell shrine, Winry laid down on her bed, her puppy Den rigght beside her. She was thinking of the fedual era. She felt a bit guilty, even though Edward told her to leav, she hadn't told Pinako that she leaved, and she lost her Shikon shard was also taken by Yuri of the demon hair. 'Ah, to be home really is the best. But it feels like everything was a dream now... Even though it happened a few hours ago since I was there... in the fedual era.'

''What? What have you done to the Shikon no Tama?'' Yuri asked.

'Yuri of the demon hair. I wonder who she was. She was after the jewel, that's for sure. Surely Edward will get angry at me... when he finds out that she took the jewel shard from me.' Winry thought, but then remembered what he said to her.

'No... He said it himself. He doesn't need me...' she clapped her hands together and Den lifted his head to see what his owner was doing. ''Ok.'' 'I'll just have to forget all of this, because I'll never go back anyway.' she thought. In the wellhouse, something was happening in the well. ''Jii-chan, those spell will hold the demons away, right?'' Joey asked. ''Yes.'' jii-chan said. ''Oh, it's oden fleshpot!'' Winry clasped her hands like in a prayer and stared at the fleshpot with puppy dog eyes. ''The magical symbols on the sealing are really powerful. No demon can break it. Winry, you should trust my magical powers...'' jii-chan turned to her. ''I don't think she's hearing you.''Joey sweatdropped. ''Fleshpot! Fleshpot! Fleshpot!'' she chanted with puppy dog eyes. She whiped away a tear. 'Ah, what a wonderful time to be alive.' she thought and grabbed her food. ''Let's eat!'' she exclaimed, when someone opened the slide door. She turned slowly, and saw an enraged blonde with white ears and amber eyes glaring at her. ''Eh? Ed... Ward?'' she looked at him curiously. ''You idiot. Who told you you could go home?'' he asked through gritted teeth. ''H-how could you...?'' she asked. ''Through the well of course. What did you think?!'' he yelled. ''The well, but...'' she started but jii-chan interrupted. ''You lie. I made those charms myself. There's no way you could...'' he started, but then Edward cut him off. ''You mean these scraps of paper? Did you really think that could stop me?'' Edward asked holding up the paper. ''Jii-chan.'' Joey sighed as his jii-chan cried anime tears. ''Come, we have to go!" Edward grabbed Winry forcefully. ''Hey, wait. I don't want to...!'' winry yelled and her kaa-san came running up and blocked their way. ''Wait a minute!'' she shouted. ''What do you want!'' Edward asked rudely. ''Kaa-san...'' Winry looked at her grateful. ''Are these real?'' her kaa-san asked and started tweaking his ears. ''Me next, me next.'' Joey jumped up and down beside his kaa-san. ''Kaa-san, We don't have time for...'' Winry stopped short and remembered that she also had tweaked his ears, but then Edward had been asleep and didn't knwo that she had touched them. Then she noticed a strand of hair on Edwards arm. ''Edward. That hair straw!'' she picked it up. ''Hair?'' he asked. ''Can't you see it?'' Then the hair moved and cut her hand. ''Winry... You're bleading.'' jii-chan said. ''What happened?'' kaa-san asked. 'Am I the only one who can see it? Is it Yuri who's controlling the hair?' Winry thought. ''Don't tell me...!" she ran out of the house.

She ran in to the well house, and her fear was confirmed. Hair, lots of hair came up from the well. 'The hair is growing out of the well!' she thought. "The old hag was right. You're the only one who can see it.'' Edward said behind her. ''You moron. How did you manage to take it with you?!'' she yelled. ''Winry? What's going on?'' her family came running. ''Don't come in here!" she yelled at them and shut the door. 'I have to stop it here.'she thought desperately. Suddenly even more came out and attacked them. ''Edward, in front of you!" she shouted jumping out of the way. ''Here?" he slashed around wildly. Just then the hair captured him, but he cut it off. Outside her family tried to open the well house door. ''Winry! Open the door Winry!!" they yelled. ''Damnit!'' Edward cursed. 'He cuts it off, but its growing together again. It'll never end.' she thought as Edward fought with something he couldn't see. Then she noticed a few strands of hair that was connected to the whole hair monster. 'That one! It's the strands that's controlling it all!'' Edward, that strand. Cut it off.'' she pointed to the strand that levitated over the well. ''Here?" he slashed but missed. 'If he can't see it then he'll never... Wait, that's it!'' she grabbed the strands and her hand bled on the starnds. ''Ow!" she whimpered but still kept it firmly in her hands. With blood on it, Edward could see the hair and cut it off. All the hair that was on him fell down on the ground and vanished. ''It's gone...'' Winry said. 'Strange... If Yuri of the demon hair only was after the jewel... Why does she still try to hunt Edward down? Does she want to kill him? Or me?' she thought and ran down to the well. ''Edward! We have to go!'' she called out. Edward leaped over her and stared at her confused. ''Why? Just now you said you never wanted to go back ever.'' he said. ''I don't want to either.'' she snapped. 'But if I don't, my family will be in danger.' she thought, and felt a soft fabric draped over her. ''It's made of the fur of a fire rat. It'll give you some protection. ''Thanks.'' she whispered. ''You'll need it with that feeble and fragile body of yours.'' he said with empathy. ''Thanks a lot.'' she said sarcastically and glared.''Here we go!'' he yelled and grabbed her and jumped into the well.

''They'll come back soon... And then we'll give them a warm welcome, right?'' Yuri smiled at one red skull.

Inu 4ever: Finally. I'm done with the first book.
Rukiia: You sure took your time.
Inu 4ever: It isn't easy to translate the whole f-ing book. I'd like to see you try.
Rukiia: Maybe I'll do that, faster than you.
Inu 4ever: Oh yeah?
