The pilots were speechless as Chibi-Usa jumped
for joy and Selenity laughed. Serenity showed them the
victory sign before looking into the forest. "Wufei, I
will prove to you that I am very capable of doing what
you do, even if I am a onna. I will."

Tokyo, Japan September 29th, 1994 20:14PM SM Dimension
Artimus looked out the window from Rei's bedroom.
They were currently having a senshi meeting, although
it just didn't feel right without Usagi, or Chibi-Usa. It
didn't feel right at all. It wasn't just that either. He
missed Luna and his only daughter, Diana. He sniffeled
before jumping down to join the others.
There was silence. Artimus jumped on the table
and looked at everyone. "You miss them too, don't you?"
Minako sighed. "It just doesn't feel right
without them."
He heard murmurs of agreement. He sighed and
bowed his head. They weren't going to get anywhere
tonight. Setsuna looked at him in worry then at
Haruka....well, tried to. Haruka was currently messing
with her coat, having nothing better to do. Setsuna then
cleared her throat to get the blonde's attention. Haruka
looked at her, as did Michiru and Hotaru.
Setsuna the rolled up her shirt sleeve to show
the wristwatch communicator. Haruka looked at it, then
back at her in confusion. Ami watched as Setsuna showed
Haruka the watch. Then it dawned on her. She stood up in
a rush and grabbed her bag. Artimus, Rei, Makoto, Minako,
Haruka, Michiru, Hotaru, and Setsuna looked at her as if
she were crazy. Well, maybe not Setsuna...but you know
what I am talking about.
Ami dug through her bag in rapid speed. "Damnit,
where is it??!"
Everyone gasped. Rei freaked. "Ami??!!"
Ami glared at her. "If you would pay attention
and shut up, you would see that I was searching for that
stupid communicator!"
Everyone looked at her in shock. Makoto shook her
head to get rid of the shock of hearing Ami talk like
that. "Why?"
Ami blinked then grabbed Makoto by her sweater.
Ami put her face real close to Makoto's. "BECAUSE!!!! IF
YOU WANT TO TALK TO USAGI, THIS IS THE ONLY
WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Makoto blinked. "RIGHT?!"
She nodded quickly. Ami calmed down, but only by
a fraction. "Then help me find it. Usagi should have hers
with her, and if she does, then we can talk to her and
be updated on how they're doing."
She looked at the thers. "Right?"
Everyone quickly agreed, then helped Ami look for
her communicator. They searched and searched, but to no
avail, they could not find it. Hotaru sat down,
exhausted. She sighed, looking down at the floor. She
thought she saw something flash against the light in the
room. Hotaru crawled over to it, and dug under some junk
to get to it. When she picked it up, she made a huge
grin.
"Hey minna! I found it!"
Ami crawled over to Hotaru and smiled. "Arigatou
gozaimasu, Hotaruchan. You are the best!"
Hotaru blushed and giggeled, embarassed, before
handing Ami the watch. Haruka just looked at the scene
before her. "I have just one question."
Everyone looked at her. Haruka pointed at
Setsuna. "Why didn't we just use hers and save ourselves
a lot of trouble?"
Minako binked before looking knowingly at Haruka.
"Well, Harukasan, that would have been WAY too easy! If
life were that easy, this world would be WAY boring! Know
what I mean?"
Rei looked at Minako before leaning over and
whispering into Michiru's ear, "Since when has she been
able to say intelligent answers?"
Michiru giggeled quietly. Minako scowled at Rei.
"I heard that!"
Rei shrugged. "Big deal."
"Why you-!"
Ami cleared her throat. "Are we ready now?"
"Hai."
Ami nodded and smiled. "All right then. Let me
see, here... If I just connect this to this, then this to
this wire...."
Everyone sweat dropped. Makoto sighed. "How long
should this take, Amichan?"
"Not long, in fact, I am finished!"
Hotaru grinned as she looked at Ami. "So, we can
call Chibi-Usa and Usagi-hime now?"
Ami nodded. "Sure."
Hotaru jumped up and down, cheering. "YAY!! YAY!!
HURRAY!!!"
Setsuna laughed. "Someone's in a cheerful mood!"
"Yep!"
Ami loaded up Rei's computer. Rei gasped. "Hey!
You never asked ME if you could use it!"
Minako smirked. "You would have said 'yes'
anyway, seeing as how you too, want to talk with Usagi."
Rei bunched up her fists before inhaling and
exhaling in counts of ten. Then she just crossed her arms
and sat back in a pout, knowing Minako was right. Ami
laughed before turning her own little microcomputer on,
and then turned on the communicator.
Haruka looked over Ami's shoulder. "So, how are
we ALL going to talk to her at the same time?"
"I have thought about that. The communicator has
a little microphone chip in it. I simply took out that
chip and placed it in Rei's speakers. What we say will go
into the speakers and come out on her side as it usually
does. For our use, it's like a two-way system.... I also
used a little of my magic on it so it will work..."
"Of course. I suppose that makes sense. Why
hadn't I thought of that?"
Haruka then proceeded to back away from Ami,
giving Makoto a shrug saying, I didn't understand that
for nothing!
Makoto laughed. Ami pushed the button for Moon.
"I hope this works..."

Usagi was just telling Selenity a joke she had
heard from Minako when something started beeping. She
blinked. "You know, that sound sounds kind of familiar."
Luna frowned. "Hai, it does."
Selene narrowed her eyes in concentration.
"Hmmm.... you know, it almost sounds like the distress
signal that we always recieved from other planets,
Mercury, Mars, Jupiter..."
Luna gasped. "That's it! It's your communicator,
Usagi! Hurry and get it before the signal goes off!"
"Uh, right!"
Usagi leaped, literally, for her knapsack, before
tearing into it. She dug, gasped, and then finally
pulled her hand out. Then she opened the watch and waited
for whoever was on the other side to respond.

Ami grinned. "We have her!"
Everyone then leaned in to look.

^Usagi?^
Usagi's eyes widened. "Masaka... AMI??!"
^Hai, Usagi! We're glad to see you're doing okay
in Amerika.^
"Amerika? Hmm... Well, about that Amerika thing."
^Hai?^
"We, uh, kinda sorta never made it...'
^What do you mean?^
"Ummm... The enemy intervened..."
^WHAT?! Another enemy?!^
Usagi blinked. "Ha- Haruka?"
^I thought they were gone!^
Luna smiled and jumped on Usagi's shoulder to see
Haruka's face. "No, Harukasan. I'm sorry to say they
have not."
^Demo...demo...^
Usagi laughed before they heard cries of help and
gun shots. She and Selenity quickly stood up, listening.
Selenity narrowed her eyes. "This can't be good..."
Just then, Chibi-Usa burst into the room. "
'Kaasan!"
She jumped on to Usagi, almost making her lose
her balance, and held on tight. Usagi looked down at
Chibi-Usa with the warm eyes of a mother. "It will be
okay, just you watch. I'm going to-"
"Do nothing."
Everyone looked at Selenity. Minako spoke up.
"Say what?"
Selenity looked at the communicator, then at
everyone else. Her eyes held a serious light. "I will
take care of everything. You must stay here. Don't try to
help me, Serenity."
Usagi looked at Selenity as if she was. Maybe she
was, but she wasn't risking her daughter's life...again.
It had happened too many times, but this time, she could
step up and actually be a suitable guardian.
'I know I wasn't the best mother before,
Serenity, because of my reign over the kingdom, politics
and such, but now, I have finally gotten my chance to
prove to you that I can be one. I have the time now, and
I am spending every single second of it with you.'
Her eyes watered up before she narrowed them in
determination. 'I am going to be the best mother that I
can possibly be. This I promise you.'
"Do you understand that, Serenity? Don't even
leave this room until I come back, understood?"
"I- I, uh-"
Selenity nodded her head. "Very well then."
She held out her hand. "Ginzuishou, come to me."
Out of everyone's amazement, the crystal
unlatched itself from Usagi's broach and floated over to
Selenity. She took it and broke it in two; one for her
and one for Usagi. They would go back to the same size,
eventually, and they each held the same power. So, it
wasn't really a problem.
The second half floated back to Usagi and
reattached itself to the broach, and the first half
Selenity took. She nodded her head and then ran out of
the room.
Everyone just stared after the lavender-headed
woman. Chibi-Usa rubbed her eyes and then looked at
Usagi. "What happened?"
Usagi just looked on in silence.
