Ch.3



Elizabeth took a deep breath once again. What should I
do? I have no idea where I am, she thought as she walked through the never
ending forest that had seemingly just appeared out of nowhere. She'd been
walking since she'd seen the giant bug, but she still hadn't seen any other
sign of life(intelligent that is).
Spotting a fallen tree, Elizabeth walked over and sat
down. It felt good to sit down and take a load off. She'd suddenly realized
after her encounter that she felt extremely tired, like she hadn't slept for a
week.
By now she felt like she could barely move at all. And all
the walking had given her a headache. "I'm going to die, here, and I don't
even know where here is.", she cried as she threw herself bodily on the soft
forest floor. "OSUWARI!" Elizabeth jumped at the loud scream that echoed
through the forest, followed by a loud crash. She looked around her trying
to discern the where abouts of the cry, but before she had a chance, four
people wearing kimonos(or that was what Elizabeth thought) stepped out
of the trees.

"Hey, what'd you do that for Kagome?", Inuyasha yelled
as he stalked beside the others.
"I told you I'm going home and there's nothing you can
do...", Kagome started but stopped to stare at the girl laying on the ground
looking at them curiously. Inuyasha, seeing that Kagome was looking at
something turned his head to see what it was.
"Who the Hell are you?", Inuyasha asked not the least
bit concerned for his tone. But the girl just laid there with that silly look
on her face. Inuyasha growled at being ignored, but before he could say
any, Kagome stepped in, "Hello, what's your name?" The girl said
something but none of the group knew what she'd said. That is everyone
except for Kagome, whose eyes got so big that Inuyasha thought they
might pop out.

What in the world are they saying? Elizabeth thought
as she looked at the new comers. The girl wearing clothes that looked like
they were a school uniform said something to Elizabeth.
"I'm sorry. I don't understand.", Elizabeth said looking
at the girl. The girl's eyes got huge, and then she said something that
surprised everyone. "You speak English? But how can that be?", the girl
said ignoring the man that stood beside her trying to get her attention.
"Um, everyone in America can speak English. Aren't
we in the U.S.?", Elizabeth had a feeling that she wasn't going to like the
girl's reply, and she was right.
"No, we're in Japan." It finally fell into place, their
clothes, the language, also the girl's heavy accent.
"Ohhhhhhh!!", Elizabeth groaned, she was half way
around the world.
"Um, what year is it?", the girl asked looking a little
nervous.
Elizabeth gave her a funny look before replying,
"2006 of course." The girls eyes grew wide for a moment.
"Um, well actually," she laughed nervously before
finishing,"you're about 500 years into the past." Elizabeth stared at her,
dumbstruck. What is she talking about? We can't be five hundred years
in the past. But the more Elizabeth thought about it she realized she
couldn't be here but she was.
"Just shoot me now...", Elizabeth moaned laying
her head back onto the ground. Why me?
