Chapter 7

- - Sesshomaru's POV - -

When we jumped out of the well - back in my time - we heard that half breed arguing
with some wolf demon.

"I'm telling you, she's with Sesshomaru. Hey wait, Kouga, do you smell that? He's
here."

"Where's my woman?" demanded Kouga.

I jumped out and Kagome followed. The hanyou's eyes widened.

"You can go through the well? It stopped letting me through. And who's that? Aren't you
supposed to be with Kagome? She does smell slightly familiar. And you two smell like you're
mated."

I nodded to the wolf demon then said, "You are Kouga then? Kagome has told me of you.
And she is not yours." I noticed Kagome was laughing at the expressions of the half breed and
the wolf. "And, half-breed, this is Kagome. Or do you not recognize her? And yes, we are
mated."

"That's not Kagome."

"No, Inuyasha, I'm Kagome. I just look different because there's no illusion on me now,"
answered Kagome.

"Illusion?"

"Yep! Because I'm actually a rose dragon."

Kouga actually shook himself out of his surprise. "You, a rose dragon, wow. But yeah,
mutt, that's Kagome alright. What Sesshomaru is saying is true."

"I don't believe it. Prove it."

"Mmhmm. Sit." We all all laughed when Inuyasha flew to the ground.

"Okay! Okay! You're Kagome. Stupid wench." I growled loudly and walked over to
where he lay. I knew my eyes had bled to red.

"Sesshomaru, don't do anything to him. He's not worthy enough for your anger. I mean
really, he's in love with a dead pile of dirt." I stopped, turning around going back towards my
mate.

"Half breed, if you say one more thing against her or even move a finger towards her, I'll
make you beg for me to kill you." The half breed had stopped struggling, noticing that I was
completely serious. I nodded to Kouga and picked Kagome up, heading towards my lands and
castle.

"I think I can fly myself there now, Sesshomaru. It woud be easier for you."

"I know you can Kagome, but I wish to hold you right now." She pulled me closer and
hugged me.

"I'm yours, mate. Forever."

Once we got to the castle, Kagome had decided she wanted to check on her friends - the
monk, demon slayer, and fox. I protested, knowing she was very tired. However, I gave in as

soon as she stared up with me with her beautiful eyes. My servants directed us to the lounge area
in the guest wing. All three of her friends looked up when we walked in.

"It's okay. It's me, Kagome. I know I look different, but this is me."

"Kagome?" The demon slayer stood up before she asked the question.

"Yeah?"

"What happened?"

"Well, have you ever heard of a rose dragon yokai?" The demon slayer nodded and her
eyes narrowed. "My mom had an illusion master make me seem like a human, but once I found
out that I wasn't a human, I removed the spell."

"Okay. Hey, Shippou, she's telling the truth."

"That's my mom? I always knew she was really strong." Shippou jumped towards
Kagome, but landed on me. "Ooops. Sorry, Sesshomaru. Hey! You two are mated! So you're my
dad now? Awesome!"

"I . . ." Kagome looked at me. "Yes, I am."

A.N. I'm still looking for reviews, but a big THANKS to Kags521!! It's good to know that
somebody's reading this.

On a not so different note, though, I do not appreciate hate reviews. They anger me. At
least give me constructive criticism. (I appreciate constructive criticism.) And yes, I realize
Sesshomaru doesn't have an arm. And he adopted Rin. I know; I just chose not to address
either Rin or Sesshomaru's missing arm. (And I know I probably should have, but I'm
writing this all on inspiration.) And I also know that Sesshomaru wouldn't have gone for

Kagome that quickly. But, this is a romance. My first story (fanfic or otherwise) that I've
put up anywhere. Please be nice and considerate.

Thank you to anybody who's reading this! It feels great to actually have something that
people read. And maybe . . . enjoy?
