“I’m ready” I said jumping from the bed. Leon nodded and then turned to Yuffie “Yuffie, let's go join Aerith. She should be there by
now with the other visitors.” “All righty” she said bouncing up from the chair she had been occupying. Suddenly she stopped and
a look of surprise went across her face. “Leon!” she shouted and pointed to the corner of the room. A black void appeared and a
heartless stepped threw into the room. I spun around to notice that this creature was one I hadn’t seen before. It was wearing some
kind of armor. “Yuffie, go!” Leon shouted to her while drawing his weapon. She hesitated for only a second before she turned to
flee out of the room. She swung open the door and I heard a surprised voice call out her name as she went out. “Sora” Leon stated
getting my attention. “Let’s go.” I watched him as he leapt from the balcony fallowing the escaping creature. I turned and slammed
the door open, racing down the stairs. I stopped as I exited from the hotel. Their were heartless everywhere! I watched as one
approached me only to disappear as Leon brought down his gunblade upon it. He lifted his sword and placed it across his
shoulder. “Don't bother with the small fry. Find the leader! Let's go!”

Goofy watched on the rooftop as a scene below him caught his eye. “Hey, Donald” He stated turning only to find heartless appear
surrounding them. “Gawrsh” he stated hunching behind his shield. “Are these the Heartless guys?” Donald frowned and swung his
staff toward the approaching heartless. Let’s go get ‘em, Goofy!

“Huh?” I spun around as a strange cry came from above me. “What in the world?” I looked up to find two creatures flying toward
me. I let out a startled cry and turned to flee. I fell as they crashed into me from behind and I groaned as my body smashed into the
ground. I peered to the side to see them staring intently at the object in my hand. “The Key!” They yelled out in unison. Suddenly
the ground beneath us began to shake wildly. They quickly crawled of me and allowed me to stand. We watched as the ground
began to rise and pillars appeared. Each one possessing a heartless. Their armor clanked as they walked toward us. I watched as
some of them were knocked back by a sudden flash of light. I turned to find the duck lift up his staff and smile smugly. The dog
was bashing them to the side with a giant shield. “Who are these guys?” I brought down my keyblade and destroyed the ones that
had begun to corner me. We all stopped as everything suddenly became quite. There was a loud noise from above us and we all
jumped back as gigantic objects began to fall from the sky. I quickly noticed that they were actually parts of something that was
beginning to piece itself together. “Let’s go” the duck said racing toward the giant armor. I raced after him. I jumped up as the armor
slammed his foot into the ground were I had just been seconds before. “take this” I slammed the blade into the torso of the giant
creature. It took a step back and began to swing it’s arms around madly. I avoided it’s wild thrashing and began to concentrate on
his feet . I prepared myself to unleash a set of attacks. I watched as the armors foot shattered leaving behind glowing green spheres.
They began to float toward me as I neared them. I felt my body grow stronger as they made contact with my skin and disappeared.
“nice” I smiled. “Look out” I heard the someone cry out. I felt something slam into my back. I groaned and spun around to see that
the other foot had come up behind me, and was surprisingly no longer attached to the body. I dodged it once more and watched as
the duck gave a battle cry and jumped on top of the foot. “hey!” I cried out startled as the foot started to shake knocking the duck
in the air. I caught him as he slammed into me once again. We both watched as the foot shattered. “Yeah!” the duck cried out
jumping into the air triumphantly. I smiled “now for the arms.” I looked at the duck and he nodded at me. We both began to race
toward the rest of the creature. It didn’t take that long before we were left facing only the torso. “Let’s do this!” I said facing the
two. They smiled at me and then we all three turned to the creature. “Charge!” the duck said. we ran forward each making contact
with the armor at the same time. We all backed up as the armor began to tremble. The ground shook as the head suddenly fell from
the torso and slammed into the ground. I stared at it and then turned my attention to the glowing object that began to float toward the
sky. I identified it as being another heart. The body began to disappear as it was incased in a blue aura. I gave a sigh of relief and
then turned towards the two stranger. They had some explaining to do…
“So, you were looking for me?” I asked pointing to myself. “Uh, huh” they both nodded. “they, too, have been seeking the wielder
of the keyblade” I heard a deep voice say behind me. I turned to see that Leon and Yuffie had arrived. “Hey, why don’t you come
with us?” I stared at the dog. He continued “we can go to other worlds on our vessel.” “I wonder if I could find Riku and
Laguna…” I muttered. “Of course!” The duck said a little to quickly. I snapped my head up, he sounded so sure…

“Are you sure?” Goofy whispered bending down toward Donald. “Who knows” Donald replied shaking his head “but we need to
come with us to help find the king.”

“Sora, go with them” Leon said deciding for me. “Especially if you want to find your friends” he said a little more softly. “Yeah, I
guess” I said unenthusiastically staring at he ground. “But you can’t come along looking like that. Understand?” the duck asked.
“No, frowning” he said doing just that to prove his point. “No sad face. Okay?” “Yeah” his friend added “ya gotta look funny like
us.” Donald pushed goofy’s head out of his way. “This boat runs on happy faces” the duck continued. “Happy?” I muttered not
bothering to look up. Everyone waited patiently for my reply. “I can’t sit around here and feel sorry for myself…so I guess there
just one thing left to do.” Everyone watched as I placed my hands behind my back bowing. I then lifted my head up and put on a
large goofy grin while crossing my eyes. Their was an awkward silence and I stopped, laughing uncertainly. Then suddenly everyone
burst out laughing. “That’s one funny face” The dog exclaimed. I smiled at them. “Okay, why not ? I’ll go with you guys.” “Donald
Duck” the duck said reaching out his hand. His partner did the same “Name’s Goofy.” “I’m Sora” I said as they placed their hands
on one another. I reached my hand out as well and placed it on top of theirs. “All for one, one for all!”

“That little squirt took down that heartless! Who’d have thought it?”
“Such is the power of the keyblade. The child’s strength is not his own.”
“Why don’t we turn her into a heartless? That’ll settle things quick enough.”
“And the brat’s friends are the king’s lackeys. Swoggle, me eyes , they’re all bilge rats by the looks of them.”
“You’re no prize yourself.”
“Shut up!”
“Enough! the Keyblade has chosen her. Will it be her that conquers the darkness? Or will the darkness swallow her? Either
way…she could be quite useful.”
