“Now that sounds like a hero.” Teased Zelda, “In relations to a certain someone!”

“Well… Excuuuuuuse me, Princess!” sniggered Link. “Go on, Spryte, what happened next?”

* * *

Spryte: “Well… Jack Frost kept his word.”

“The very next day, He, Crystal, Anju, and I set out to climb Miserable-Mountain.”

“But that mountain was like a Pyramid of Ice!”

* * *

The Skull-Kid was watching from the castle.

* * *

Skull-Kid: “Bah, Ha, Ha… He's slipping again! Fun, eh Twiggy?”

(S-K)/Twiggy: “It's great fun, Skull-Kid.”

* * *

Then, he spotted Anju.

* * *

Skull-Kid: “Hey… Who is that girl?”

“She is beautiful… I will woo her, and one day win her for my wife.”

* * *

Then he began to sing, and made Twiggy sing too.

* * *

[Skull-Kid:] (Singing)

-She is beautiful, and therefore
I will woo her.

[(S-K)/Twiggy: ]

-How can you woo her?
she doesn't like you.

They slipped off the mountain again.

* * *

Spryte: Well…we just had to give up.”

My Brother reopened the Blacksmith-shop in East Clock-Town, near the stock pot in.

Anju, Crystal, and I, were his assistants, and on the day before Christmas…

* * *

A small young lad with Blue hair, and a quiver filled with arrows, and a sword in his belt walked into the shop.

* * *

Anju: “…Kafei… is it really you?”

Kafei: “Merry Christmas, Anju!”

“I'm looking for, Jack Spryte, the Blacksmith.”

Spryte: “Who is this young fellow?”

Anju: “This is Kafei, he may look like a boy, but he and I have been friends since we were young children.”

“Then one day… he left town on adventure. Oh my Brave little Warrior.”

* * *

Jack began to fell just a little jealous, but kept his mid on his work.

* * *

Kafei: “After all these years, I'm home for the holidays, and I need a Blacksmith.”

Jack: “Ahem… Well… Mr. Kafei… I can't work on arrows.”

Kafei: “It's really my sword that needs mending and sharpening.”

Anju: “I'm sure that Mr. Spryte would be delighted to help you.”

Kafei: “I'll send for you- - I mean for my sword tomorrow, and Merry Christmas to you all.”

* * *

Spryte: And the next day was indeed a Merry-Christmas.

For as poor as they were, the people of Clock-Town still gave everyone presents.

Dream-Presents, they were called.

You see… and ordinary empty box. One person would give it to another person, and the person who got it would make believe, or pretend that…

…It was just what they always wanted!

* * *

Anju passed to Jack.

* * *

Jack: (Singing)

-You shouldn't have, you didn't.
Oh my, Oh my.
I really don't deserve it.
I think I'll cry.
It's just what I always wanted.
It's perfectly right.
It's just what I always wanted.
A Christmas delight.

[Everyone else]

- It's just what he always wanted.
It's perfectly right.
It's just what he always wanted.
A Christmas delight.

* * *

Jack Passed it back to Anju.

* * *

Anju:

-I hoped you wouldn't bother
Oh my, Oh my.
I'll use it every morning.
I think I'll cry.
It's just what I always wanted.
It's perfectly right.
It's just what I always wanted.
A Christmas delight.

[Everyone else]

It's perfectly right.
It's just what she always wanted.

* * *

Anju passed it to her mother.

* * *

Young-Lady:

-It's absolutely charming
Oh my, Oh my.
The color really suits me.
I think I'll cry.
It's just what I always wanted.
It's perfectly right.

Old-Lady:

-It's simply so expensive.
Oh my, Oh my.
I'll treasure it forever.
I think I'll cry.
It's just what I always wanted.

It's perfectly right.
It's just what We always wanted.
A Christmas…delight.

* * *

As everyone in town gave more gifts to everyone, Anju received one from Kafei.

* * *

Kafei: “This is a real present.”

Anju: “Real?”

* * *

She opened it up.

* * *

Anju: “A Red Christmas Rose. Oh, how beautiful!”

Kafei: “Anju… would you accompany me to the winter-festival tonight?”

Anju: “Oh yes, Kafei… I will.”

* * *

On her way home, Anju Spotted Twiggy on a box of crates.

* * *

Twiggy “Hello.”

Anju: “Oh… hello there little girl.”

Twiggy: “And how is the future bride this day?”

Anju: “Oh… but I'm not a future bride yet?”

* * *

The Skull-Kid Popped out!

* * *

Anju: “OH…NO!!”

Skull-Kid: “That's what you think!”

* * *

On the way back to his castle, Skull-Kid had rather nasty plans for Anju.

* * *

Skull-Kid: “I may be still a child, but when I grow up, then I will make you mine! Ha, ha, ha, ha!”

* * *

Spryte: Poor Anju couldn't scream for help, but didn't have to.

The Family Cuckoo was out in the field visiting friends when he saw the Skull-Kid pass by.

So he headed straight back to the Stock-Pot-Inn…

* * *

Jack: “Captured by the Skull-Kid?! We've Got to Save here!”

“Come on everyone!”

* * *

Spryte: When Kafei was told of what was going on, he immediately agreed to help us out.

He rode his white horse towing us on a sled behind him.

* * *

Jack: “FASTER…FASTER!!!”

* * *

The Skull-Kid rode into a secret tunnel in the side of the mountain, and disappeared.

* * *

Jack: “ANJU!!!!”

* * *

Jack Tried to scale the mountain, but slipped and fell.

While Kafei made it to the top of the Caste using his Hook shot, and battled the army of Wawiors at the top.

* * *

Jack: “Oh girls… I can't do anything right as a mortal!”

Crystal: “Maybe on the other side the slope doesn't slip!”

* * *

But Kafei had already saved Anju, and brought her back to the ground.

* * *

Old-Lady: “Oh Look… Kafei is wounded!”

Anju: “Those terrible Wawiors!!”

Young-Lady: “Quickly, we must get him back to town!”

* * *

Spryte: But on the other side of the mountain, more Wawoirs snatched us.

Jack, Crystal, and I were in big trouble.

* * *

In the castle, in chains.

* * *

Skull-Kid: “I will not stand for this humiliation! I will make the whole town Pay!!!”

(S-K)/Twiggy: “What will you do, Skull-Kid?”

Skull-Kid: “I will send… all 1,000 of my Wawiors to destroy the town!”

* * *

In the Dungeon… they all counted the Wawiors marching by.

* * *

Crystal: “998…999… Oh, He was right… 1,000!”

Jack: “A Good snowstorm ought to stop them in their tracks.”

“I mean a real… ONCE IN A LIFETIME BLIZZARD!!!!”

Spryte: “But how, Jack?”

“We tried to make snowflakes the other day for old time sakes. It turned out to be a really bad Doyle!”

Jack: “I'll whistle up a winter!”

* * *

He did whistle…but nothing happened.

* * *

Crystal: “See… Nothing! You might as well be making birdcalls!”

Jack: “…Then… There's Only ONE WAY!!!”

“FATHER, KING-OBERON!!!!!!!!”

Spryte: “Brother?!... You don't mean?!”

* * *

He disappeared, and the chains all dropped. At that moment, the castle began to freeze over.

* * *

Spryte: Jack Frost, had given up his mortality to save the people he had come to love so much.

And to stop the Skull-Kid… he was really going to whistle up… THE WORST STORM THE WORLD EVER KNEW!!!
