Chapter 3

16 yrs later

Naruto and Sasuke are now sixteen but Sasuke will be turning seventeen in a couple of days.

When they were around the age of nine Sasuke and Naruto found out that both had a brother/family. But neither knew who the other looked like.

The palace was excited, today the whole kingdom was invited to celebrate their Princes birthdate and everybody was busy with the party's last minute decorations and other stuff.

*sigh*

Sasuke was tired, in a couple of hours he would be celebrating his seventeen birthdate with his family and kingdom. His mother and father had planned the whole celebration and the whole kingdom was invited. He on the other hand didn't want to go, the party was mainly of high councils and their families, some of wich they wanted Sasuke to meet their daughters.

He was on his rooms balcony enjoying the warm breeze, it wasn't time for the party, not for a couple of minutes. Sasuke hadn't change much, his hair was still the same, pointy strands of hair from the back and some blasted to both sides of his face. The only difference is he grew taller of only 5'9 and has a light tan.

He stood up and started heading to the ball room. Many of the party's guest were here so he needed to be there already. The guards opened the wooden doors to him and he walked in. All the guest bowed to him and he bowed lightly in return. He stood in front of his father and bowed down to him and kissed his mothers hand. He turned around to his guests and proceeded to make his speech. About two days before the party his father asked him to make a small speech to begin the party. So he did just that.

"People of the Celeste Kingdom, I thank you for attending my seventeen birthdate, on behalf of my father the king and my mother the queen and myself hope you have a wonderful time." Sasuke said, with slight tinge of sarcasm in his speech. He bowed down to his people and they applauded to their Prince. Sasuke proceeded to take a seat next to his mother.

"What's a matter dear, don't you like your party?" Queen Lily said.

"I, of course I do mother, is just that..."

"Is just what honey?"

Sasuke smiled to his mother and looked at her.

"It's nothing mother don't worry about it, would you like to dance?"

Lily smiled,"Well of course!" she beamed.

Sasuke took Lily's hand and lead her to the dance floor.


Naruto had just finished dinner. Iruka had made his favorite ramen. And for kakashi and Iruka some fried rice. And now he ws ready for dessert some of his left over cake. Naruto had just celebrated his sixteen birthdate a couple of days ago. His parents (Kakashi x Iruka) had suprised him one night when he came back from school late. To say the least he was suprised, Kakashi and Iruka never throwed him a suprise party. There were a few presents but he didn' care and a beautiful cake, baked by Iruka himself.

Naruto served himself some of his cake with a cup of milk. He finished it quickly, one can say he was in a hurry, which he was. He put the plate on the sink and headed to the living room where he found Iruka reading one of his favorite books.

"Iruka..." Naruto said uncertain what Iruka would say.

"Hmmm." Iruka said putting the book down and paid attention to his son who obviously wanted something.

"May I go outside for a while I need fresh air."

"Ok, but be careful"

Once again Naruto was shocked, Iruka never lets him go outside at this time.

"Alright" Naruto said putting on his shoes, and headed to the door.

Iruka wouldn't of let Naruto go just like that but he knew Kakashi was outside, and wouldn't let their son be in any danger.

Naruto closed the door behind him and proceeded to head to his favorite spot. the hill behind their house. (A/N: you know the hill where Iruka x Kakashi were sitting when Lily was spying on them on chap. 2)

Once Naruto got to his favorite spot he sat down and watched the shining moon. Ever since he found out that he had a family and his little problem (The Demon) he would head to the hill and think. He didn't believe it and he doesn't now. 'How can I be a fox demon, I don't look like a monster, I'm human can't they see I have flesh and no fur.' Naruto tought. He sighed and continued watching the stars and the moon.


Sasuke and Lily had just finished dancing when King Aguste took his wifes hand and asked her to dance. Sasuke took a seat and watched the people dance and chat with their neighbors and friends. Sasuke was annoyed he was congratulated, tight bear hugged by woman he didn't know and especially annoyed with all the girls who giggled when he passed by or happened to look their direction. The day before his party he had planned to escape the palace for a while with Uma his Pegasus.

Uma was given to him by a king of another Region, the king didn't like the pegasus he said it will grow scrawny and weak so he gave it to Prince Sasuke when he was five. Uma was just a baby horse, he has black fur and his wings and tail are pure white. Uma and Sasuke became friends immediately, since Sasuke was the only child (so he thought) he was always adopting a variety of animals. He has two cats, one black with a white spot on his left eye his name is Me-ushi and the other is yellow with a tinge of white on her tail her name is Ki-iro. He also has a golden retriever (dog), a python, an iguana by the name of Sarada, two ferrets, three tarantulas, a white tiger by the name ofJippa, and of course a pegasus Uma.

Sasuke had planned to go to the grounds and explore, his father was always telling him that it was a dangerous place, but his curiousity got the better of him. He had everything packed so when he was ready to leave he had everything he needed already.

So there he was recieving gifts and shaking hands. He just hoped the party ended soon.

1 hour later

The party is almost over and Sasuke is impatient. Ever since he decided to just sit down and enjoy the party sitting down this girl would not leave him alone. She would always ask him to dance and when he would protest his father would give a him a look. He knew he had no choice being the Prince and all he had to be a gentlemen.

Finally the party is over and Sasuke was able to rest, he had to stay behind a bit more and say goodbye and goodnight to all his guests, and he couldn't leave until every person in the ball room were gone. He went up to his parents and said goodnight to them and headed back to his chamber to sleep for a while he looked to his clock and found that it was still a bit early '10 p.m.' Sasuke thought, "Hmmm..I'll get some sleep now.." 'Then I will put my plan into action.' he finished with a thought.

Sasuke didn't get to sleep for a bit, his chamber maid had come in and asked him that his parents were wanting to speak to him. He sighed, and headed to his parents chambers.

*Knock, Knock*

"Come in!!" The king belowed.

"Father, Mother, you asked for me?"

"Yes dear, come in, have a seat" Lily patted the bed next to her.

Sasuke took a seat where his mother wanted and turned to see his father.

"Father." He asked.

"Sasuke, my son, I wanted to give you this.." The king placed a pocket watch into Sasuke's hand. "My father gave it to me on my eighteen birthdate, just like his father did. He said it brought luck to those who have it, and I'll say it has brought me luck.."

"But you didn't have luck all the time father, what about my brother?"

Sasuke shiffted nervously with the dangerous glare his father was sending him. The kings eyes softened, he knew Sasuke was right, not everything is pure luck.

"Yes I'll call that unlucky, I wonder where he is now? I bet he's big now and strong, say? Why didn't you tell me or the order where you placed our son?" The king said to his Queen.

Queen Lily turned away from from her husbands eyes and looked at Sasuke, "Goodnight dear, sleep well."

Sasuke nodded, "Goodnight mother, father"

"Goodnight son" The king said and turned back to his wife to talk about their past.

Sasuke wasn't aware that he had gotten back to his chamber, 'I wonder why mother never told us about my brother, what was his name? Something with the 'N,' Nazuti, no! Nazuto, no not that one either.' Sasuke shaked his head to clear his thoughts he didn't remember the name of his brother, 'Oh well, I'll remember soon.' He thought.

He went to his closet and took some old clothes he had and put them on. He put his backpack on and headed to his balcony. He whistled to Uma, while putting his shoe on and his coat since it was a bit cold.

Uma flew up to the balcony as his master requested and landed lightly next to his master. Once Sasuke was ready Uma flew down to the grounds like Sasuke always wanted.


It had been two hours and Naruto was still outside watching the black sky and the stars. he shivered it was a bit cold out. An hour ago Kakashi had come and checked up on him, but Naruto needed more time to think outside. Kakashi knew that Naruto would be alright so he went back to the house to check on his beloved.

Naruto sighed he wondered who his family was. He subconciously touched his chest, when Naruto was young Iruka said that his mother had given it to him on a treasured box. It's a heart shaped gold locket, it's locked and it could only be opened with a key which Naruto doesn't own. Naruto used to think it was lame wearing it but his mother had given it to him so he kept it close to his heart.

*Swooch*

'Huh!? What was that?' Naruto thought. He looked up to the sky but didn't see nothing. He was certain he heard something like a big plane, but a fast one. Naruto relaxed and layed down again to watch the stars.

*Swooch*

Naruto stood up, eyes big as saucers, he heard it again, but this time behind him. Naruto turned around slowly, he was met with the ebony eyes of Sasuke.

A/N: Well this chapter sucked! At least I think so. It wasn't long I'm sorry. So I don't know what you guys think.

I've decided to put a poll up!! because I have a slight problem and I can't decided so I'll let you guys decide.

1) Should I put a Happy ending and leave Sasuke and Naruto to live together and get married and stuff.
