"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" Kouji screamed in horror, wailing and running around in shock and pain, daring not even look at his granddaughter, who stood there with Mina, both sweating nervously with the subject of his agony on the ground between them. "THE ROBES OF THE MIZUKI OF OLD! THEY'RE RUINED! RUINED!!! A FAMILY TREASURE... OVER 200 YEARS OLD AND-"

"But Mina-ojosama's okay!" Mizuki countered, her grandfather hunched over and weeping over the clothes before turning to her. "I mean, I came through on my promise and saved her."

Mina blushed as Mizuki looked down to her, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Yeah... she did," Ambrosia said with a smile. "I think it was a worthy trade and all..."

"BUT LOOK AT IT!" Kouji lifted it up... Mizuki surprised at the severe damage of it. The entire right sleeve was gone save for the upper-inside part, the headband was reduced to mere strands of fabric, the hakama was torn in numerous places and much of it was missing as well, and the shirt had innumerable rips in it. "An relic of the days of old... ruined forever!"

"But-" Mizuki started to blubber out, sneaking Mina a quick grin before beginning to scream and wail as well. "I W-WOULD HAVE D-DIED!" She then hugged Mina awkwardly, the shorter girl looking at her in surprise at the melodramatics. "S-SHE WOULD HAVE DIED T-TOO!!! I TH-THOUGHT IT WOULD B-B-B-"

She gave up on speaking, just "crying" into Mina's shoulder, her goddess wondering on just how many situations this ploy worked.

Kouji looked at them, drying his tears and sighed. "V-very well then... I guess the fact you're both alive is good eno-"

"YAY!" Mizuki shouted happily, jumping in the air. Kouji slumped down in defeat as Mina and Mizuki walked away, holding hands and smiling happily.

"You didn't fight at all, Reiji!"

"I still did my part, Lune!" The older man shouted as Aiacos dragged his two fellow prosecutors back to his office. Between fighting Moriya and having to put up with their childish bickering... a nice shower and then going to bed sounded damn fine.

Unlocking the door to their office, Aiacos let the door swing open.

"Seriously! Just because you have spent more time as a Specter, you think we're all powerhouses if we put our minds to it and-"

CRACK! CRACK!

Reiji and Lune screamed in agony as the lights to the office flicked on, a familiar von Karma standing there. Aiacos, Reiji, and Lune looked at her in surprise, Franziska growling at all of them. "You..." her whip was pulled back for another lashing, glaring at the non-Garuda Specters. "YOU NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT ALL OF THIS!?!?!?!?!"

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

"DEVIL WOMAN!"

"SHE'S A NIGHTMARE!"

Aiacos watched his two partners flee, and when he turned around, Franziska was facing away from him. He really didn't understand why, and slowly took a step forward. "Franziska... I'm sorry that they never thought it that important to just come clea-"

"It's. Not. That." Her voice was strained, the words being slowly formed... but it didn't feel like Franziska was that angry with him. "A. Von Karma. Shows. Stren-strength... ATALLTIMES!"

"Franziska..." he reached out, putting a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay..."

She slowly turned around, eyes shimmering as tears fell from them. A smile was on her face, her arms bent up and her hands interlocked. "Higashi..." She hugged him tightly, afraid this amazing man would vanish if she didn't take precautions. "You... you meant it! You really meant it! Every word about what you said... everything about Lune and Reiji being alive!"

"Well... yeah... but I thought by now you realized that they were fine..." Aiacos said, quickly returning the embrace, his weariness seeming to fade away as he held the German girl.

"But we're prosecutors... seeing the proof right in front of our eyes... that's everything to us! Or... at least to me..."

"'More things in heaven and Earth'."

"Don't quote Shakespeare... it doesn't translate well to Japanese."

"Well then what do you propose I-" Aiacos never managed to finish, Franziska happily kissing him full on the mouth. Okay, that works. In a corner of his mind, Aiacos felt glad knowing that Franziska had come back... she tried to be woman when she was only eighteen. True, Lune was a year younger than her, and Fenrir, Isaac, and Cecil were his age too... but three moreso had the track record of going places and beating the crap out of people, and the other had Aiacos backing him up. But Franziska... practicing law on her own... no doubt the name of von Karma only gave her so much in terms of credentials.

"Uh... boss... aren't you going to-" Reiji started to say as he and Lune walked back to the office, a number of red welts on their face. "Oh."

They promptly shut the door.

A deeper corner of Aiacos's mind wondered what would happen if Minos fell for someone from Germany too. Damn creepy coincidence... that's what it would be...

"Aiacos... you want to get out of that? You look like you were fighting in a business suit..."

Aiacos blushed, looking down. "Uh... yeah..."

Radamanthys smiled as he ran through the most recent report concerning the reconstruction of Tokyo after the floodings. His company was doing a bang-up job on it, and the Wyvern had opted to rendezvous with Pandora in Greece and lend some advice and help to Fenrir and the others when tournament began.

Never mind the kind of abuse he went through here, just imagining Pandora's face, her quiet words, and the occasional humorously loud outburst from her put a smile on his face.

"Lancaster... you SO blew it with her."

Hilda walked down the hall of Valhalla, wondering if the Griffon had left already. She should have known better than expect him to be anything more than a man afraid of seeing a few old faces.

"Next time I'll go for your heart..." she said, barely above a whisper. Checking in the storage room where the Odin Robe and Minos's Surplice were being held, she suddenly felt her mouth go dry.

The bastard had taken the Odin Robe. She couldn't believe it. Her hands quickly became fists, and she turned around just in time to jump over a box-like object skidding across her feet.

"If we fight a few miles north of here, the chaotic nature of the Odin Robe should only affect an unpopulated area for the first fifteen minutes or so. I've been out of it for a month," Minos said as he looked at Hilda, a resigned look in his eyes. "I need to practice. Get there soon... before I change my mind."

Minos turned and walked away.

"Excuse me sirs and ma'am?"

Fenrir, Cecil, Isaac, and Charybdis all froze during their sparring match, turning to see a man sweating profusely standing outside of a helicopter. "I'm sorry, but Miss Polaris sent me to ferry you off to Athens. I hope I wasn't interrupting anything, was I?"

"Uh... no... nothing..." Fenrir said, although he quickly realized something. "Chary... what about Minos's plane?"

The eldest of the four shrugged as she began walking towards the man. "What else? Drop it on him next time we see him. So what the hell are we waiting for?!?" She turned around, flashing a grin at the three boys. "Let's go kick some Gold Saint ass!"
