Chapter 7: Thanking Tamaki

 

The moment the door closed Kaoru and Hikaru pushed off the sides of Tamaki's shirt in unison and let it drop to the floor. The twins pushed him back so he fell upon the bed, which was easily big enough for three. They pulled off their own shirts and threw them next to the bed. “Ready?” They asked in unison. She blushed. “Why do you keep looking at Tamaki…?” She asked softly. A few of the girls around them looked surprised at her question, but the twins knew it was on all their minds.

 

“I think Kaoru has a crush on our king…” Hikaru said with a smirk.

 

“Hikaru! How could you say such a thing?” Kaoru said, blushing slightly. He glanced at his brother then looked away again. “I only have love for you…” Kaoru said softly, but loud enough so the crowd could hear.

 

“Kaoru…” Hikaru's face turned soft and his eyes sparkled with love towards his brother. “Hearing those words come from your mouth… I'm sorry I ever doubted you.” Hikaru said as he turned his brother's chin towards his face.

 

“Hikaru…” Kaoru said as Hikaru gazed into his eyes, his fingers pushing back a few loose strands of hair. The girls started to squeal again and they smiled to themselves as they moved back into more comfortable positions on the couch.

 

“I suddenly feel like going to the bathroom… Care to join me?” Hikaru said, a mischievous smile across his face.

 

“Exactly what I was thinking.” Kaoru said as they stood up in unison.

 

“As always.” Hikaru said before beginning to walk to the small room.

 

Tamaki noticed the two get up and leave… He wanted to go too, but knew he shouldn't. He relaxed back into his chair and then a girl tapped him on the shoulder. It was one of the twins' frequents. “Yes?” He asked, smiling.

 

“Is it true?” She asked beaming.

 

Tamaki's face gained a little uncertainty. “What did those two say…?” He asked himself. “Is what true?”

 

“Does Kaoru really have a crush on you?” She said… rather loudly. The other Host Club members turned to look at the blonde who was a little surprised.

 

Kyouya pushed his glasses up further on his nose and stepped up behind Tamaki's chair. “It's a simple rumor spread by the twins. Not something you should dwell on.”

“Can you say it now…?” Hikaru asked gently… cautiously almost.

 

Kaoru was caught off guard by the sudden question, but he smiled and pushed back a little piece of hair that fell in front of his brother's eyes. “Hikaru…” He paused. “I love you and… I think I always have.”

 

Their lips met again and the twins shared a soft kiss of understanding between the two of them. When they pulled apart Hikaru smiled and looked back into his brother's eyes. “I love you to… Kaoru.”
