[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Burlow was still surprised that Amy Rose, his mother, could get sick with pneumonia. He
couldn't believe it, how could she possibly get sick.

"I know what we can do!"Burlow said excitedly.

"What?"Sarah asked.

"Tails has been studying the chaos emeralds and they now have the power to grant any wish
when all seven are collected. So why don't we use a wish to heal mom?"

"That's a great idea. Mom, can I go with Burlow?"

"If your chao stays to keep an eye on me, I don't see why not."Amy said.

Sarah was able to go with Burlow and his friends. The first chaos emerald was in a jewlery store.
A chao was the salesman.

"Hola."the chao said. He obviously spoke spanish.

"What?"Burlow asked.

"Leave this to me."Maria said.

(Since I can't speak alot of spanish, I'll just translate it to english but I'll use some spanish words.)

"Hello, seniora Maria."the chao said.

"Hello, senior Chao. Can you believe this dumb ass can't understand spanish?"Maria replied.

"Really?!"

"What are they saying?"Burlow asked.

"I'm looking for a chaos emerald. Do you have one?"

"Si, I have a chaos emerald."

"May I buy it, please."

"Si, si, that will be five dollars."

The chao grabbed the chaos emerald and was payed five dollars.

"Thank you, sayonara, senior Chao."Maria said.

"You're welcome, sayanara."Mr. Chao replied.

Burlow knew that they would need help so he went to get Sonic, Knuckles, Rouge and maybe Shadow.
Gierin noticed a familiar white bat.

"MUM!!!"Gierin yelled as she ran up to the white bat.

"Gierin? Why are you here?"Rouge asked.

"I'm looking for the chaos emeralds with Burlow, Maria and Tails."Gierin replied, her eyes becoming very glassy.

"By the way, I bought this for you."Rouge held out a deep blue sapphire.

"Ooh, GIMME!"Gierin said, snatching the stone and looking through it with one of those things a jewel dealer uses.

"Wow, this is no ordonairy sapphire. It's a moon stone! But mum, how'd you get one?"Gierin asked.

"I bought it."Rouge said. "Do you like it?"

"Like it? I LOVE it! I've been wanting one of these babies for so long. These stones have the power to detect chaos
emeralds."Gierin replied.

"Hi, Rouge."Burlow said.

"Oh, hello Burlow."Rouge replied.

"I was wondering, would you help us find the chaos emeralds? I'm trying to get them to grant me a wish
so I can heal my mother. She's sick."

"Amy Rose? Sick? You've got to be joking."

"No, it's no joke."Sarah said.

"I guess I could."

Burlow and his friends asked Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow if they wanted to help. They were more
than happy to. Everybody was split into groups of two and were given a spacific place to search.
Burlow and Maria were in a group and were given the forest to explore, Maria was nervous in
paticular because there was a river in the forest and she couldn't swim. Maria and Burlow somehow got
separated, Maria wasn't paying attention and walked right over the river. She looked down and then fell
in the river.(like in the cartoons)

"Maria, you okay?"Burlow asked, not looking behind him.

Burlow heard a faint cry for help, then he saw Maria in the river.

"Burlow, help!*cough,cough* I can't swim!"Maria screamed.

"MARIA!!!"Burlow yelled.

"Help me, please!*cough,cough,hack*"

"Hang on, Maria! I'm coming, try to keep your head above the water!"Burlow said as he dove into the river.

"Burlow, I can't go on much longer."

"I'm coming! Don't give up, I'm ganna help you!"

Burlow noticed a halt in the river, it was a waterfall.

"Maria, try to paddle your arms, I won't let anything happen to you!"

"*scream* Help, Burlow, I can't do it!"

"Maria, DON'T GIVE UP!!! You're ganna be okay!"

"Burlow... I can't... do it."Maria said as her lungs comletely filled with water and began to sink.
Burlow grabbed Maria by the arms and swam to the shore.

"Maria, common, wake up! Please, don't leave me! You can't leave, I love you, please, WAKE UP!!!"Burlow begged.

At that moment, Maria started to cough up water.

"Maria, say something."Burlow pleaded.

Maria said nothing and then passed out.

"Hang on, Maria. I'm ganna get you to a hospital."Burlow said.

Burlow called everybody over their walky talkies and agreed to meet at the Capital City hospital.

At the hospital, everybody told how many chaos emeralds they found. Gierin and Sarah had found one,
Knuckles and Rouge found two and Sonic and Shadow found one. The nurse came to speak with them.

"Well?"Burlow and Shadow asked at the same time.

"She's ganna be fine but we think she needs to stay over night. She wants to see a boy by the
name of Burlow the hedgehog."

"That's me."Burlow said.

Burlow walked into the room. Maria was on the bed, she seemed very tired.

"Hi, Maria."Burlow said.

"Burlow, I want to talk to you."Maria said.

"What?"

"Is there some reason why you saved me?"

"Uh."

"Common, spill the beans."

"Alright, well... uh, I saved you because well..."Burlow started, his explanation was halted when he
felt Maria softly press her lips against his. He opened his eyes to see her beautiful blue eyes.

"I know you want to tell me something."Maria said.

Burlow didn't say anything but he returned the kiss, it lasted a little longer though. When it ended,
they embraced each other in a hug.

"I love you..."Burlow whispered in Maria's ear.

"I love you too..."Maria whispered back.

Burlow now knew that she loved him, his wish come true. He'd won the heart of Maria the hedgehog,
he couldn't be happier.Maria was happy too, she now had somebody she could love. A love as deep as
a well. A love nobody could break.

There was only one more chaos emerald to find but where was it?
