Months went by and Miyu was now a world famous popstar.

 

The medallions occasionally glitched, but it didn't seem too serious. Though, their power seemed to be weakening.

 

"Okay, that last glitch was a bit concerning." Sonic said. "It took us five minutes to get the dress back up, even with all three medallions. We never had to use all three before. They're barely holding a charge now."

 

"Hey, at least she was backstage and in her dressing room." Manic replied.

 

"What has Tails had to say about this?" Sonic questioned. "Why won't you let me go back alone or hardly at all?"

 

Manic cleared his throat. "No reason."

 

"I'd call you out on this, but we have a concert in a few hours." Sonic said. "I don't want to worry Sonia."

 

Sonia walked in. "I'm already worried." She replied. "The last few glitches went on for ten minutes."

 

"I thought you said five minutes, Manic." Sonic said.

 

Manic shrugged. "What's the difference?" He asked. "We fixed it, didn't we?"

 

 

Sonic rolled his eyes. "You are a pain in the tail sometimes, Manic."

 

"Let's talk about this later." Sonia said. "We have to go."

Manic and Sonic got their medallions ready. Their hands shook as they aimed them at Sonia.

 

"Please work, please work." Manic whispered.

 

"Are you sure it's gonna work?" Sonia asked. "Maybe I should cancel the show. They'll understand if it's a family emergency."

 

"The combined efforts of our medallions worked last time." Sonic said. "If it gets worse, then we'll go from there."

 

Sonia nodded. "Alright," She said. "Wish me luck."

 

"Good luck." Sonic and Manic replied.

 

Sonia took the stage and activated her medallion for the dress at the same time Manic and Sonic activated theirs for the transformation sequence.

 

The concert went well until the last ten minutes.

 

Sonia waved at the audience. "Thank you! I love you all!"

 

The transformation sequence started, though it was flickering wildly.

 

"Since when did she decide to do the sequence twice?" Manic asked.

 

Sonic gasped. "She didn't."

 

Sonia's eyes widened as she saw her outfit was half the jumpsuit and half the Miyu dress. "D- drive home safely." She said, voice shaking. She hurried off stage.

 

Sonic and Manic looked around at the crowd, who were still cheering.

 

"Good. They seem to think it's all part of the act." Sonic said. He grabbed Manic's arm and raced off.

The three hedgehogs arrive at Sonia's home.

 

Sonia was now back in her jumpsuit.

 

Manic slapped the medallion a few times in his hand, but all it did was send off sparks.

 

"What happened?" Sonia asked.

 

"We're figuring it out." Sonic said.

 

Sonia yawned. "Tell me later." She replied. "I'm tired."

 

"Before you go to bed, let's try one more thing." Sonic said. "Let's try to get the sequence to work one more time."

 

The three hedgehogs activated their medallions five times.

 

Each time was unsuccessful.

 

Sonia broke down, sobbing into her hands. "It's over."

 

"No, we'll figure out something." Sonic said, trying to pat Sonia on her shoulder. "Get some sleep and we'll talk about it tomorrow."
