I slowly come to with Hige shaking me.

 

“What is it, Porky?” I growl.

 

“Toboe's gone!!” Blue shouts somewhere behind her boyfriend.

 

“WHAT!?” I rip out of Hige's grasp and am standing on the floor in seconds.

 

“He left this.” Kiba's holding a letter out to me.

 

It read:

 

Dear Kiba and Co.,

 

Sorry I had to leave in such a hurry. I really had no choice. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Maybe, one day, we'll meet again, but I doubt it. I'll miss you. Please don't look for me.

 

Love you lots,

Toboe

 

I hate him. I hate him for leaving.

 

“Tsume.” Kiba and the others were standing at the entrance to the cave.

 

“Are you coming?” Asked Hige.

 

“Runt said he didn't want to be fallowed.”

 

“If Toboe dies, are you honestly going to be fine? Or are you going to blame yourself?” then, Kiba jumps off the cliff, with Cheza on his back, and, after shrugging at each other, Hige and Blue fallow.

 

I look after them for a few minutes before jumping down after them myself.

 

Cursed pup.
