Whee! Chapter 2 Pairing: Yami x Mahado (Twisted), darkfic, homunculus, philosopher’s stone/red water from FMA anime Chapter 2               Addicting.           &nbs p; They didn’t eat them all the time, oh no, they were too precious and hard to obtain for that, so he eagerly awaited Mahaado’s new supply with eagerness every few months.             Addicting. They tasted of power and despair and hope and life…           &nb sp; But then again, he decided, as he kissed Mahaado, there was more than one type of addiction. Like attracts like after all…           &nbs p; “You’ll have enough.”              Enough prisoners to deluge with red water when the alchemy burned, enough to create more stones, to keep their lives running further down into immortality…          &n bsp;  They hadn’t died yet, but Yami doubted it would be very pleasant…            ;  “Prince…”          ;    “I’m not jealous of your Apprentice. It’s not her fault, it’s not yours either…. She was too inquisitive and you are too trusting…”         &nbs p;   “She could still die, if you willed it, my Prince.”              “No,” Yami shook his head. “In a way, I’m relieved. I’ll have both my friends with me.”           &nbs p; Forever…              “Did she gain anything?” Yami asked. Besides Healing, the stones seemed to grant some unique gift…           &nb sp; Yami’s new gift lay in his eyes. He could see thoughts, minds, patterns of strategy, read hearts, just like the Millennium Eye, but it was more than that… solutions sprang to mind, the battle won with the least casualties, strategy primed to perfection…          &nb sp;  “Not yet, my Prince. Sometimes it takes time for the gift to manifest.”          &nbs p;  Like Mahaado’s… but then again, Yami didn’t envy him it, not much. Mahaado’s Ka was Magician of Illusion and he had already been excellent at illusion spells and little else, but now…           &nbs p; He could shape-shift, take any form Yami wished. It was useful, quite useful… especially now that his Father was failing.             Father was weak. They’d killed ninety-nine thieves for the Millennium Items, only ninety-nine lives necessary for this power?             It was so much more efficient than the stones Mahaado made in secret. And those prolonged life and thwarted death. Still…           &n bsp; They had to accumulate enough prisoners first. Perhaps Yami still had enough morals not to turn his subjects into energy… or perhaps he just didn’t have the power to do so yet.             &nb sp; Somehow, he thought the second was more likely.             His Prince’s hands dug into his shoulders, almost painful, but not quite. And no blood was drawn, none at all…           &nbs p; “You are mine, Mahaado. Mine.” He was a greedy little princeling, wasn’t he?             “Of course, my Prince…”              “Kiss me again.”           & nbsp; “Yes, my Prince.” He tasted of a silent scream and a flash of metal, hot, liquid copper… Yami’s eyes slid half-closed in pleasure, purring…              And then he gasped as the Prince bit him, teeth sharp like a wolf’s, drawing blood, finally… Yami licked his lips as he smiled at Mahaado.             “Delicious.”         &n bsp;   The pain was sweet, and he watched as his skin healed over with nary a mark.             There was a startled gasp from behind.                He knew who it was, knew the slightest tinge of her aura, she couldn’t hide it. “Mana.” How unfortunate…          &n bsp;  “T-Teacher….”        & nbsp;    “Do you not approve?”  He was still stronger than she, and no, he wouldn’t kill her, since she was a valuable pawn, but if she interfered…          &nb sp;  Mana opened her mouth to speak, but her light blue eyes glazed, developed into a darker shade reminiscent of brown, to match her dark hair.             And then her form dissolved into shadow, moving like a liquid.             Interesting…           & nbsp;   She reappeared a few moments later, looking exhilarated. Of course she would, this ‘spell’ had actually worked, unlike her other magic…           &n bsp; Should she be jealous?             Something in Mana’s soul might have protested, but she frowned. No. She wasn’t jealous, not at all. Why should she be?             However, she did not want to watch this either.             Mana left the room, walking with a much more graceful stride and firmer step.             &n bsp;           Yami frowned slightly. “That was abrupt.”              “It seems we all have secrets we hide, is it not?”           &nb sp; “Will she help then?”           &n bsp; “I am still her Teacher, though she may dislike the fact. It changes nothing.”            ;  “I’m glad…”           & nbsp;   “Now I suppose it would be my turn to ask you. Are you jealous?”            ;  “My dear priest, for that I could have you executed. Such an impertinent question!” Yami laughed softly.             “My apologies, my Prince. I meant no offense…”           ;   Yami didn’t bother to give a verbal reply as he pressed Mahaado back down onto the bed. Oh, his Father would be furious, but who cared if he knew?             In any case, arguing always made him irritable, and he did not like that. It was time to purge his body of these unfortunate emotions…            ;  Mahaado’s eyes glittered with lust as Yami pinned him down again. “My Prince.”              “Perhaps I’ll reward you, for her creation was unexpected, but nonetheless, useful…”                        &n bsp; The Ring’s pointers dug into his chest eagerly, seeking life and finding it buried inside darkly tanned skin.             Yami loved blood. He was not quite sure why, but it was so interesting to watch the prisoners drain to nothing. Or perhaps that was the reason, as the stones they fed upon really were just sweet crystals of blood… human lives and red water to give power…           &n bsp; But it tasted so much better in this form…           &nb sp; He idly wondered how he didn’t bleed, but concluded that the stones had different effects on different people….              There were footsteps outside again. Not Mana, or he would have felt it. He looked faintly annoyed and Mahaado did not wait. He shifted.             Yami blinked at the black cat now draped over his chest, but decided it fit somewhat. He was sure Priest Seto was rather disappointed when he walked in, expecting to find… other things.             He smiled innocently and took the scrolls, making a mental note to work later. Then, after Seto had left, he saw Mahaado shift back and smirk.             Sweet.   End Chapter Completed 10/6/05 Yami: I am seriously disturbed Phantomness: I know!
