"I dunno. Anything."

"Sure." Kagome replied.

The two girls got their shoes on and left the house.

~In the city~

The two were just walking around in the city, walking down the street, looking at stores. They were having a pretty good time. They were laughing and talking about...well about anything really.

"So, do you know how long you're going to stay?" Kagome asked.

"No. Not yet." Rei replied.

"Oh."

While the two were talking, they really didn’t watch where they were going, so, they,

*Crash*

bumped into someone. Rei and Kagome both fell on their asses.

"Ow." Rei moaned.

"Sorry." The two heard a voice say. They looked up to see who it was.

"Yaten?" Rei asked.

"Rei? Is that you?" He asked.

"Like hell it is." She replied. He stuck his hand out to help up both girls.

"Thanks." Kagome said as she rubbed her butt. "You, two...know each other?" Kagome asked pointing between the two.

"Yeah. This is Yaten." Rei said. "Yaten this is Kagome. My cousin." She said.

"You have a cousin?" Yaten asked.

"Yeah."

"Nice to meet you Kagome." He said as he stuck his hand out.

"Nice to meet you too." Kagome replied shaking his hand, and blushing a bit.

"What are you doing here?" Rei asked as she fixed herself up.

"I'm here with Amara." He said.

"Doing...what?" Rei asked.

"Well, I came here to watch her race." He said.

"Oh." Rei said.

"You guys," He looked at Kagome. "Wanna come?" He asked looking back at Rei. Kagome blushed again.

"Sounds fun." Kagome replied.

"Great." He exclaimed. "Lets go."

~At the race track~

The racers were getting ready. Kagome, Rei, and Yaten were all in the front row. Kagome was sitting next to Yaten, while Rei was sitting on the other side of Kagome.

"I'm going to get something to drink." Kagome said.

"I'll come with you." Yaten said.

"Ok." Kagome said with a blush. The two walked to the food court.

"Fine." Rei said. "Leave me by myself." She joked.

Rei looked back at the track. She saw Amara, and waved to her. She waved back, then put her helmet on. As Amara put her helmet on another biker walked pass her, and Rei could've sworen that he looked just like Seiya. She shook her head.

"Geez. I'm going crazy." She said to herself.

~With Yaten and Kagome~

"Rei never told me that she had a cousin." Yaten to Kagome.

"Yeah. No one ever told me either." She replied.

"...?" He gave her a questioning look.

"Oh." Kagome said. "Sorry. Well, Rei and I just met today." She said.

"Really?" Yaten asked.

"Yeah."

"You guys act like you have been together forever." He stated. Kagome laughed.

"We get along great." Kagome said.

"I can tell." Yaten smiled. She returned one with a blush.

"So..." He looked away from her. "What do you want?" He asked her.

"A soda is all." She said.

Yaten ordered the drinks, and handed one to Kagome.

"Here." He said.

"Thanks." she said with a smile.

"No problem." He replied.

"We better get back to Rei, before she kills us." he said laughing.
"ok." Kagome replied. She was happy with him. He made her laugh, and feel good. Could she already possibly be starting to like him? She didn’t know.

~With Rei~

Rei sat on the bench patiently waiting for her cousin and her friend to come back. The first time Kagome and Yaten saw each other, Rei knew something had flickered between the two. She had a feeling that the two thought something of each other. She smiled at the thought.

"Hey Rei." Kagome said as she sat next to her cousin.

"Oh hey." She replied.

"Here." Yaten handed her a drink.

"Thanks." Rei said.

"No problem." He replied with a smile. He then sat next to Kagome.

"You two were gone for a long time." Rei said as she sipped her drink.

"The line was long." Kagome said.

"Sure." Rei replied.

"It was." Kagome said.

"ok." Rei replied with a smirk.

As the girls were talking Yaten waved to someone out in the race track.

"Who are you waving to?" Rei asked curiously.

"No one." Yaten said.

Rei looked out into the track and saw, Seiya.

"He's here?" Rei asked.

"Who?" Kagome asked.

"Seiya's here." Rei said looking at Yaten.

"I'm sorry, Rei, but-"

"I can't believe you." She said as she started to walk away.

"I'll be back." He said to Kagome, as he went after Rei.

Little did the two know, that Seiya saw Rei too. So he walked out of the track and into the benches.

"Rei?" He yelled. He looked around him, seeing if Rei was anywhere in sight.

"Seiya?" A girl asked him.

"Yeah?" He replied as he looked at the girl. She looked just like Rei.

"I'm Kagome, Rei's cousin." She said.

"Do you know where she is?" Seiya asked.

"Yeah. But she doesn’t-" She said as she gestured.

"Please, I have to talk to her." he said.

Kagome took a sigh.

"This way." She gestured.

~With Rei~

Rei just kept on walking through the crowd of people.

"Rei." She heard Yaten call her. But she kept on walking. She ignored his voice, and ignored the fact that she saw Seiya.

"How could he." She thought to herself.

"Rei." Yaten caught up to her and grabbed her arm.

"Yaten, if you know what's best for you, you better let go." She said, looking at the ground.

Yaten turned Rei towards him.

"Rei look at me." he said.

"No." She replied.

"Fine." he said. "But at least hear me out." He said.

"About what?" Rei asked. "How you set me up?" She asked angrily.

"I...yeah." He said.

Rei looked at him with her piercing dark purple orbs.

"So then you admit it?" She asked.

"Yes."

-pause-

"Why?" She asked.

"Be...because..."

Rei shook her head in disbelief.

"You knew that Seiya and I had a fight. And you knew that we didnt want to see each other for a while. Yet you still brought me here." She said.

"I'm...I'm sorry." He said.

"Are you?" Rei questioned.

Yaten looked at her, straight in the eyes.

"Yes." He replied.

"Then why'd you do it?" Rei asked, her tone a bit softer.

"Because I care about you and Seiya. And I don’t want either of you to get hurt." He said.

"You should've just let us fix this, Yaten." She said. "This isn’t you're problem. It's mine, and Seiya's." She said.

"I know that." he said. "And next time...I'll just leave it alone." He said.

"I'm glad that you care for me Yaten I really am, but," Rei started to get on her weak side. "I just can't handle this, anymore, it just," Rei's eye's started to get watery. "I don’t know how to handle this-and its just hard."

Yaten pulled Rei into his arms and held her, while she tried to stop herself from crying.

"I'm here if you need me." He said.

Rei smiled.

"I know." She said with a whisper.

~With Kagome and Seiya~

Kagome and Seiya were walking through the rough crowds, trying to keep up with one another.

"Did you see her yet?" He asked.

Kagome looked around.

"No. Not yet." She said. Then as she scanned the place, she finally saw them.

“Seiya, their over there.” She said as she pointed to them.

“Lets go.” He said.

The two walked towards the other two.

“Rei.” Seiya said as he walked up to them.

Yaten and Rei pulled away from each other.

“Seiya.” She said.

Kagome walked by her cousin’s side.

“Can we…talk?” He asked.

“……sure.” She said. She and Seiya started to walk off.

Kagome felt bad for her. And she felt bad for Seiya.

“I hope everything works out.” Kagome said.

“I have a feeling it will.” Yaten replied. “You wanna head back to the track?” He asked.

“Sure.” Kagome replied with a smile.

The two, then started to walk back to the track.
