The land of Mozaki is one of the smallest, inhabited places in Demon World.

Also, the most spiritual place. Mozaki was said to be the city that would one day hold a powerful and cursed child. The legend stated when the child was born that it would be trained by its father to be a powerful warrior who would defend the local village.

 

Things didn't go that way.

 

The father abused the child's innocence and his plan to get rid of it backfired. The kid became uncontrollable and killed his father at the young age of 5.

 

The "creature”, or so they called him, was feared by the villagers.

 

So the village psychic bounded the boy within a cave on top of a mountain. The boy has been there for six months, he has been mistreated and it was finally time for the innocent child to be set free.

 

Kouichi, the legend, needed to be set free. And two of Koenma's finest spirit detectives would be the ones to set off to the land of Mozaki right away and free Kouichi from his bounds.
