I love this fic! I'm not usually into the Goku/veg stories, but this one's different. I think it's because of the way that you've written it to involve the reader. I started reading it at like 10pm. I should of found it earlier, coz i didn't go to bed 'till 3am. It's been a long time since I've been this hooked on a story. It must be my lucky month, coz i've hooked on four at once! This one, "Stupid Moneky"; "Rhyme and reason" and "Two sides to a story" It's unbelieveable, ususally I only find a story I like every six months! Agh..Brain over loading..
there's only on boo boo u made; if bulma as killed in a place crash, then technically she could of been brought back, since it wasn't a natural death, it was an acident. But then again, i couldn't care less if she killed herself by stapling herself to the wall.
Overall, I love this fic, can't wait for more, er...when is there more comming???? |

Style of Writing: 9; I gave you a nine because I really like how you write...very discriptive...distription is good ^_^ I mean...if one was to just write without discription what a boring world we'd live in...
Spelling and Grammar: 8; Well...the reason I gave an eight was because I don't like when people use japanese in their stories ^_^''' Don't get me wrong, I do know what all the words mean...I just don't use anything above 'baka'. ...It's no big deal really...I guess it's a pet peeve of mine.
Originality/Creativity: 9; You have no idea how many Kakarotto/Vegita fanfictions I have read...and by far, yours has to be my favorite. ^_^ and they're in character...which is good...what can I say...I like it ^_^

Overall Rating: 8; I gave it an eight...because, well its actually a very odd reason...but anyway...I seem to like Vegita and Kakarotto together...yet, I absolutely HATE Kakarotto...I love Vegita though...does that make any sense?

Your writing style is great and very cohesive. You use a lot of subtly and don't spell things out, meaning that you assume we (the readers) actually have a brain. Thanks! I notice like one or two grammar or spelling errors per chapter, and that is pretty low! You do a good job keeping it low, perhaps running a chapter underneath the nose of a friend or two (who knows grammar) before posting would work. I like the angst factor in your fic. I also have been enjoying that there is no hobophobia (yet) in your fic! Goku isn't going "why am I feeling this way? this doesn't happen between guys!" and Vegeta isn't being close minded about the subject. He's just scared sh*tless (as well he should be). This definitely brings to light the suffering Vegeta would go through if it was more about the rape he suffered and less about the killings (though that is a factor too). All in all a great story-in-the-making. But, one thing is bothering me. In chapter 12 Vegeta gets blood on his leather jacket so Goku cleans it and everything, right? And then Vegeta puts on sweatpants that he ends up wearing when he runs out the next morning, thereby leaving his jacket at Goku's house. How come the jacket shows up again in chapter 13, magically in Vegeta's possesion again, so he can wear it to the party? Does he have two jackets? Just curious. You see 'shadows of the past' it's the AMAZING piece of work you have been hooked on ever scince it appeared. UPDATED! You say 'yes' and click onto it. Then you get taken to a deep, angst filled BRILLIANT piece of writing. I LOVE THIS FIC! The art work is really great 2! The story is just SOOOOO real man! |

Well I have! :D This was the second GokuxVegeta epic I ever read, and of the same sort of high quality as this fic.
The first time I read it (as in this fic here, Shadow of the Past), I had read it on a different webpage and it only went up to chapter 5. I thought it was strange that it only went up that far because you didn't leave it off on a lemon. Anywho, then I found the Stack of Stuff website and read upto chapter 14, and really enjoyed it, especially the angst (write moooore... Onigai??) Which makes this the third time I've found your fic online. *lol* I really do enjoy your writing, it's about the best out there, and I've been reading yaoi fanfiction for what? Five years? Anyway, keep up the good work! :) |
